"Ah, stop mopin'." "I'm not moping." Marilyn snorted, lying curled up in the snow beside a tall rock that hides her from the sun, making her look slightly depressed. She sighed heavily and Hood let out a loud tut, sitting on top of the rock, watching the scenery and the sun rise. "It's actually quite pretty." "Hm…" Hood rolled his eyes and stayed quiet, ignoring Marilyn. He wondered what was on her mind, perhaps it was her sister's death? He hadn't seen her affected by it yet, and he knew she did love Marley. Hood's ears perked at the sound of a feminine howl far off, but it didn't seem to come any closer and it soon disappeared, and it was his turn to sigh. Glancing at Marilyn, Hood's gaze softened. They were both incredibly close now, like siblings, and even if it didn't seem like it, he worried about her.
As Marilyn sighed, she tucked her maw underneath her paws. She missed Marley. She missed having her sister around, even if she was jealous of her, even if she acted like she hated her. What was her last words to Marley? When did she last see her? I'm so sorry. she thought, ignoring Hood, but I have found someone else. I'll look after him like he's my brother, like our brother. I hope you're watching me, Marley. Just don't bloody criticise me, okay? Snorting, Marilyn raised her head and twisted it round, looking up at Hood. Either it was a trick of the light or her imagination, but for a moment his fur was a lovely grey and he was looking down at her with a kind, childish smile.
"You're gettin' up, then?" Hood asked, jumping down from his rock, turning to face Marilyn, "Brilliant! Tha' means you can get me some rabbit." Marilyn snarled loudly, but Hood only laughed. "I'm kiddin'. Come on, get up." he said, nudging Marilyn's shoulder encouragingly and she stood up slowly. "So, uh… What were you thinkin' 'bout?" "Nothing." Marilyn growled, shaking the snow off of her fur, but Hood noticed the quick storm of sadness gathering in her eyes before she blinked it away, and he tutted again. "Come on, I'm hungry." "You're always bloody hungry." Hood laughed again before loping through the snow, Marilyn quickly catching up and walking by his side.

A howl echoed through the mountains, lonely but not depressed. Lowering her maw, sapphire pools looked around cautiously, seeing nothing. She could tell why these mountains were called the Solitary Mountains. Giving a sigh, light colored paws padded softly across the melting snow, watching her step carefully, not wanting to slip and fall. This place was so damn desolate; where was the fun? A dissatisfied grunt was given as the fae-Malo -wandered around, not really caring where she was going, just hoping there would be someone in her destination.
As she moved carefully, her nostrils caught the scent of others of her kind. Taking a deep whiff, she could sense that there were two wolves, male and female. Were they mates? Brother and sister? She did not know, but they had caught her interest now and the eager fae wanted to find out. Turning in their direction, she quickened her pace.
Soon she found herself close to the pair, and she hid behind a large boulder to watch them. There was a gray male, green eyes. ||Oooh, now isn't he handsome?|| she thought with a smirk, then she looked to the fae, who was brown and white. Her face was speckled. ||They certainly don't LOOK related.|| Her face formed a slight frown; if they were mates, she couldn't flirt with the male. Ahh well, she needed to find another pasttime anyway. She decided to follow this pair, and see where they went. A sudden rumbling sound made her jump, and for a moment she thought it was the two wolves. Then she realized it was her stomach-she hadn't eaten in days.

Marilyn stopped, glancing at Hood before looking round, smelling the air. She heard the sloshing of snow, like someone was walking after them, but she seen no one.
"What is it?" Hood asked irritably, looking at Marilyn, "I'm hungry!" he added angrily, ears twitching and he followed Marilyn's gaze, wondering what was so important that she would ignore him. When they heard the grumble, Marilyn chuckled slightly, but Hood frowned. "Who're you?" he asked, walking towards her. Marilyn watched him for a moment, snorted, and followed after her friend.
Sometimes Hood's curiosity was bigger than Marilyn liked, but this female seemed alright so far... But looks could be deceiving.

Malo winced and grumbled something under her breath, knowing she was caught. She stepped out from the boulder, and looked at them with cautious eyes. She raised an eyebrow and took another step closer, watching them carefully. She didn't know these wolves or how they would react to her. Malo stopped about seven yards away from the two, enough distance to turn and run if need be. But since when Malo ever back down from a challenge, or trouble for that matter?
Tilting her head to the side in curiosity, she looked at the male with calm eyes and a chuckle. My name darlin'? Well you don't waste any time now, do you? Anyway, the name's Malo. Do try not to forget. And now a question for a question-who are you?

"I don't think I could forget the name of a beauty such as yourself." Hood smirked, looking her all over before replying again, ignoring Marilyn for a moment, "I'm Hood." Marilyn rolled her eyes at Hood. Although she was quite amused at his flirting. Looking at Malo again, Marilyn noticed something interesting about her; she reminded her of Marley.
Marilyn snorted at the thought of her sister and she looked at Hood again, who only glanced at her, looked back at Malo, then looked at Marilyn again, his grin disappearing when he realized she was there. "And this is Marilyn." he added quietly, like he didn't care, and Marilyn growled softly at him as a warning.
Hood frowned at Marilyn, looking back at Malo and gave her a small, perhaps seductive, smile.

Malo gave a laugh, more of a sadistic chuckle, at Hood's remark. Looking at him, softening her deep blue pools, she gave a small smile, and circled him. Well thank you for the compliment Hood dear. You're a looker yourself you know. She was wondering when he was going to introduce the fae he was with, when she looked up and saw her looking at her. Malo gave her own curious look to Marilyn, and waited for her to speak.
She didn't need to speak, for Hood spoke for her. Again, a laugh was emitted as she looked from one wolf to the other, wondering if they really were related afterall. Their actions suggested that they were, but she could be wrong. A pleasure to meet you Marilyn, though I'm sure you can speak for yourself, surely? She tilted her head to the side, wondering what Marilyn's amazement with her looks was for.
The orange and light brown fae returned Hood's smile with one of her own, intentionally adding a seductive twist to it. Looking back at Marilyn, she gave the fae a direct question. So are you two related by any chance?

Hood smirked, turning his head to watch her go round, almost hypnotized by the sapphire-blue pools she called eyes. He glanced at Marilyn again as Malo spoke to her, hesitating. He wondered if Marilyn was, perhaps, jealous if the attention he was giving the new female. Of course she was! Hood smirked, his ego growing too big for his head, no female could resist Hood for long. He looked at Malo again, but he didn't look all dreamy and in love. He looked impressed, this female was beautiful, and he liked her personality so far, but it was going to take some time if Malo wanted real outcome.
Marilyn looked at Malo for a moment, tempted to give her a rude retort but held back. If she wanted to flirt with Hood, then so be it. At least Malo spoke to her. "Yeah, I can speak." she replied, "He just doesn't know when to stop." she smirked as she gestured at Hood, glad she was able to insult someone. Marilyn knew Hood was forgive her later one once he got bored of Malo. That is, if he does. "And no, we're not related... Just friends." Marilyn added hastily, in case Malo thought they were mates. Feck no,

Malo gave a nodd to Marilyn, and a grin was given at her insult. At least this fae was more intersting than others she had met, in fact, the pair were the most interesting things she had seen in a long time. She sat down, flirtatious smile gone-for now. Giving a laugh, she looked at the two. Well, ya could have fooled me. You act like brother and sister. She looked from one to the other, head tilted in a form of curiosity.
Why were they up in these mountains, away from the Falling Moon borders? Maybe they knew something she didn't, or maybe they were sneaking off for some fun. Which Malo could use right now. It had been awhile since she had gotten into any kind of trouble, she figured months. She hadn't seen others of her kind in a long time, so she was going to take advantage of the time she spent here. So where were y'al headed to, this fine day?

Hood and Marilyn looked at each other at the brother and sister comment, then back at Malo with amused grins. Whether they knew it or not, they were like brother and sister. "I don't think I want to be her brother." "Yes, because my life is filled with death and… All that." Marilyn trailed off, snorting and looked at Malo again when she spoke, noticing that they almost got caught up in their own conversation. Hood looked at Malo, thinking about her question. They had come here because Marilyn wanted some peace, and Hood had came just for the hell of it.
"Just here and there." Marilyn replied casually, seeing as Hood was stuck for words at the moment. "Probably hopin' to find a Dancing Star, too… Always fun to mess with their 'eads." Hood added, his amused grin changing to a sneaky one. He did enjoy fooling Dancing Stars, or any wolf really, but Dancing Stars seemed more appropriate to him seeing as Falling Moon didn't like them, and vice versa. He looked Malo up and down for a moment. "Wha''about you?"

Malo listened carefully, finding the pair quite amusing indeed. She nodded at Marilyn, then turned her head when Hood finally seemed to find his voice again. Dancing Stars? Is that the other pack that lives here? I've seen them before, they smell and act different from you. She gave a snort, thinking of how nice the 'Dancing Stars' had seemed. It was kind of...yucky.
But something deep in her mind began to stir. An old memory, from her childhood, it appeared. The flashback was black and white, and she only received bits and pieces, but she could recognize it vaguely. A dark colored male pup, with a white ring around his maw and white paws was padding behind another, larger wolf eagerly, with a white fae who had matching markings also in tow. They looked filled with glee as they ran behind the fae, though the white female had a somewhat devilish smirk on her face. Suddenly, the wolf turned. Malo gasped as she realized it was her, only much younger. The flashback ended, and she snapped back to reality, looking a little disgruntled. She looked up, remembering she hadn't answered Hood's question yet.
Oh, just looking for some fun. And possibly food, I'm starving.

Marilyn and Hood nodded in agreement when Malo said they were basically different from Falling Moon. "Yeah... Not many Falling Moons like them..." Hood trailed off, noticing that Malo might not be listening because she seemed to look a little out of it. Hood tilted his head to the right, staring at Malo curiously, but quickly found his posture again when she replied.
"We were 'bout to hunt, actually." Marilyn said. She was wondering why she was being kinder than she expected herself to be, maybe because she wanted someone to give Hood a chance. "I though' you were gettin' me some food, though-" "Like hell I was going to." Marilyn interrupted, then looked at Malo again, "Don't know if we would find much in the mountains, though... Not something big enough to fill his fat belly." Hood snorted in disapproval.

Malo nodded, looking at Hood with agreement. I can see why. They're so...bland. Not like you two darlin'. She gave them an accepting look; she didn't think she would be so buddy-buddy right now if they had been Dancing Stars. She had a knack for stirring up trouble. Looking down the mountain, she wondered where exactly they could find food, when she heard Marilyn's voice.
She gave a smile for the first time in a long time. The call of food allured her, and she would gladly join these two and help out if it meant she would avoid starvation, at least for the moment. Well, I give you my services Marilyn. I'll help anyway I can. A laugh was emittd as the fae cut Hood off, and an insult was delivered. They reminded her own sister and herself, going at each other with witty banter, and sarcasm so sharp it could cut like a knife. But those days were long gone now, and Malo would have to forget she ever had a family.
She looked at the pair, finding them quite comical indeed. So, Hoody darling, do you have anything to say for your stomach there?

Marilyn liked Malo. She seemed like the kind of wolf that would be good for Falling Moon, perhaps Satine would like her too. Malo seemed to be deceiving, almost sassy, but she looked like she'd be a great fighter too. Marilyn would like to fight her, if they ever had to. "I'm glad you think so. I'd hate to be compared to a bloody Dancing Star." Smirking at Malo's name for Hood, she looked at the male. Marilyn approved.
Hood shook his head, but smirked at the name as well. He looked at Malo, his smirk changing to a small taunting grin. A habit. "All I have to say is, let's hunt." he stated, slowly making his way along the rugged path again. To be honest, Hood had no idea if there was any prey up here. Not big enough to feed three wolves, anyway, unless a caribou or deer was stupid enough to leave the herd for a wander.
Rolling her eyes, Marilyn looked at Malo again before slowly walking after Hood. "Hoody, darling do you have any idea where you're going?" when he looked round at her, she gave an innocent smile and Hood looked back ahead, not answering.

ooc||Lol Hoodie xD
bic||Malo looked at the male, a smirk on her maw, and followed slowly behind Marilyn. She laughed as he looked at Marilyn in response to her question, and raised an eyebrow. Oh dear Marilyn, I do hope he's not going on a wild goose chase. I don't think my stomach wants to play follow the leader-that-has-no-clue-where-he's-going. Sapphire eyes eyed the area carefully, and she knew their elevation was a bit too high. They'd have to go further down.
Hoodie, can you be a dear and take a path a little closer to the ground and not the clouds? Unless the caribou took an early vacation, I don't think they'll be up here. She wasn't being trying to be rude, but she was rather hungry. Her stomach chewed at her, and she felt a slight sensation as she felt her stomach growl yet again. She looked down and grabbed a mouthful of grass, chewing on it just to ease her hunger. The motion of her mouth chewing and the liquid secreted into her throat other than her own spit satisfied her very slightly, and she gave up.
