Jaeger bowed his head and helped Savage onto the piece of bark. Jaeger had an idea, hopefully it worked. "One moment." he said. He took off for a minute and came back with a few leaves that were still left alive. He set them on Savage's wounds and then gently pressed them down with his maw. Then he picked up some snow in his paw and placed it over the leaves. "Hopefully this will slow the bleeding until I can get you home." he said with a faint smile. Jaeger licked Savage's maw reassuringly and then whispered in his ear, "I love you, don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you." He stood up and placed himself in front of the bark. He grabbed one end of it and began to tug and the stopped. "You two, please push." he begged. Jaeger had never begged but he was desperate. Jaeger gathered all his strength and tugged the bark that held Savage on it. He didn't bother to do it slow and gently, because that would take to long. He pulled it as hard and fast as he could, though he knew the ride would be a bumpy one.

Almira could sense something stronger than brotherly love between the two. She tipped her head to the side. It was possible, but for the time being, she dismissed the thought, and circled to the back of the bark, and began pushing, eyes ahead so she could see where she was going, and prepare herself for any bumps, or rocks.
There was no sympathy in her eyes. After all, it was Savage's fault he was on the verge of death. He only had himself to blame. Now that she thought of it, it really wasn't Key's fault. She sighed, and continued to push, coming up with the conclusion that she thought too much. [/size]

Key rose his brow at Almira. She was pretty. "You know..." Key began while Jaeger was getting the leaves, "I love a fae that's resourceful.". But when Jaeger returned, he snapped his head back towards him. As far as he was concerned, he owed his life to Savage. He pt his front paws on the bark, and pushed as hard as he could with his hind legs.

She shot a glare in Key's direction, and rolled her eyes. "Well, keep looking, hun, I'm sure you'll find another one somewhere," she said viciously, before continuing to push, while switching her gaze from the road to Savage then to the road again, alternating back and forth between the two. Savage lay there, the bleeding slowed, to a mere trickle. Still the wolf could blame no one other then himself, and he would do just that, blame himself. This was all of course his fault, although, Key did provoke the battle but Savage had the death wish. Perhaps it was still Savages' fault, yes, of course it was there was no doubting this. Savage opened his eyes, the world surrounding him was fuzzy and bleak. The snow and leaves had helped the wound, and helped protect it from some sort of infection. Savage shook lightly as he urged himself to stand, or sit up, but he could not bring himself to do so, though he wanted to so greatly. Savage's lime green eyes filled with tears. He couldn't hold this back any longer, he wasn't sure Jaeger knew what exactly he'd meant by 'I love you' but he knew he had the concept. Savage tried to force himself ro sit up, grumbling slightly. His head buzzed with all the names and happenings and territories he'd registered in his past. So many memories, recalled in a little less then five minutes, it was cruel on Savage, and yet, here he lie whimpering and lost in memory.

Jaeger shot a glance at Almira and Key as he pulled as fast as he could. He would be saying something right now, if he didn't ahve a chunch of bark in his mouth. Right now, all thoughts were on Savage. What did Savage mean when he told Jaeger that he loved him. Jaeger hoped what he thought it meant, but then again, Jaeger wasn't so sure. It seemed that Jaeger had some feeling for a male wolf. He snorted as a few particles of dust flew into his nose. A low growl emitted from his throat as he snorted it out. He stopped for a minute and then he sneezed, about five seconds later he was pulling the bark around trees, over rocks and small hills, and even up hills. His backend ran into a bush once but he quickly manuvered so that they could arrive home faster, or somewhere with shelter where they could all stay warm. The snow began to fall, heavy but fluffy snowflakes falling from the grey sky.
