Things weren't exactly easy for him, but they were getting easier and he was growing accustomed to ways needed to keep his cool, make him look like one of them. He'd had plenty of practice with previous packs, starting off with his birth pack. But that was a long time ago. He'd remembered, killing his father, adoring the look of fear which never crossed the male's features. It was almost like he could still taste the warm metallic taste of blood in his mouth, running over his coarse tongue. Such a long time ago, but such a great memory. He wasn't sure what possessed him to do this, only that he loved doing it. He lived for it.
He found himself doing a lot of searching lately, constant searching for new wolves. Wolves whose life would soon be a living hell made only by him. His ears were pricked and his calm, soft expression was on his face, something that was also becoming more easy. The hardest part about this whole thing was being so nice. He loathed it, and yet, had to use it to get his way. It was part of his manipulation and if there was a way, he'd use it. Unfortunately, he didn't believe there was another way.

Kaira really hadn't met any interesting wolves since Haine, or really even talked to anyone. That was at the nd of winter, yes, but still, she was feeling quite lonley, and she had a feeling Haine and herself weren't going to work out. Kaira had set off on a new search, a search for a friend. Her sister seemed to be busy a lot so she thought hell, even a loner should have a friend or two around.
Kaira then notice Atreus up ahead. He looked friendly, but gave her a weird feeling. She pushed the feeling aside and decided to introduce herself. "Hello, my name's Kaira, and yours?" cheesey greeting yes, but it was the only one she really knew as a loner. The wolf smelled of Falling Moon, but she didn't care the slightest.

His ears pricked at the sound of a voice and he turned towards her, dipping his head slightly. "Nice to meet you, Kaira," he said with a small charming smile. "My name is Atreus," he told her. Oh, how easy it was to find prey among these lands. They just walked right into the trap. Well, it was expected. They didn't know what lie ahead as he did. "What brings you out here?" he asked curiously, tipping his head to the side slightly, giving off an almost cute look as his ears tipped a bit to the side.
He thought of what he wanted to do to her, but it was best not to plan ahead. He had to let it happen, go with the flow or else it would seem unnatural and that would certainly give off some kind of suspicions and weariness. And he wasn't willing to risk that. And besides he liked to let a plan slide into place the way it often did.

Charming. And aw! He's cute! She thought as he tilted his head. What to say, what to say. She believed she would sart off by answering his question, then asking one of her own. She smiled sweetly, and opened her maw to speak.
"I'm a loner, and we loners like to roam no mans land." she said, playing dumb. But she imedietly regretted it. What if she hurt the kind male's feelings? She would feel terrible. So she tried to recover from her last sentence. " So, found anyone special for spring yet?" she asked, batting her eyelashes. So Kaira didn't have the best social skills, so what? Thats why she was a loner.

OoC:// Kato, I thought you should know that there's gonna be no pregnancies other than Deppene's in this plot. It ruins the whole point of having that main plot when it happens to numerous other females. Sorry. : / Do you still want to continue, and Kaira can be left heartbroken? Or maybe you can think of another side-plot? Sure, Malo, bring him/her in. ^^ Bic:// "Hmmm...I see," he said with a smirk, realizing his own mistake, looking down as if feeling stupid. But he simply laughed it off and lifted his eyes again to her own beautiful ones. "I guess that was a stupid question, huh?" he asked pushing himself to his feet with a sigh and a sheepish grin. He took a few steps away from her before glancing over his shoulder. "Care to walk with me?" he asked, an ear flicking back in a quizzical manner, hoping that she'd be so kind as to follow. He couldn't afford to waste precious females like this but something about her told him she'd follow. He felt the need to add something else to make her come, but that'd be too pushy. He couldn't seem too straightforward. Females didn't like that. That liked someone mysterious, for it leaves something to lure them in. Almost like he was the bait and they were the fish.
He kept his gaze locked with hers patiently awaiting her answer, his heart seeming to beat faster in fear of her rejection, and seconds seemed like hours. To many, being rejected by a female wouldn't make all the difference as there were probably numerous others in this valley. So much to choose from. But Atreus had only limited time and each female or "fish" he managed to snare could not be wasted for he valued each one in his own way.

OOC: Okay Smilies, heartbreak is A-okay. BIC: Kaira grinned. He was a pecular wolf, like herself, but he was pecular in a different way. He seemed so normal and sweet o the outside but there must be something inside of him that is giing her bad feelings, right? Kaira thought about this for a few momens before coming to a conclusion that she was wrong, and would give this wolf a chance.
"It was." she said honestly. He's just a normal wolf. Kaira, he is just like you. Kaira thought. What if she was right? No, she was surley wrong, right? "I'd be glad to take a walk." she replied, trying to act without suscpicion.

Reddish-brown hues shone in the sunlight, and gray eyes surveyed his current home. Somehow, it was more peaceful here than back in Falling Moon. So much quieter, that was for sure. He preferred it out here, no responisbilities, hunting whenever you wanted, and no annoying packmates to get on your nerve. Zion had to admit, as much as he loved Falling Moon, most of them were arrogant fools who had no clue. And most were crazy, as he'd come to find out, and their constant bickering and soap opera drama was quite amusing to him. He didn't miss most of the wolves themselves, but he had a fondness of Duke and Anevay, who had let him in so graciously when he had been quite young. Duke was like a father figure, and it had pained him to leave him, and on such bad terms. But that was the past now.
On his entrance to No Man's Land, however, he had met a fae named Malo. The two had found that they had much in common, except for their differing attitudes. They had then decided to stick together, and it had accomplished much. Though the fae did seem to carry on about two wolves named Hood and Marilyn a lot, Zion found her acceptable. But now, the large male moved along No Man's alone, realizing he was heading towards the dens. When he arrived, looking for a quiet place to take a midday nap, his nose caught scent of something. Well, more like someone, and it wasn't only one. His nose scented two wolves, a fae and a male.
Then the two came into view. Zion had never seen either of them before, and he realized then that the scent of Falling Moon came from the male. But something just didn't seem quite right about him. His gray eyes narrowed, and he slowed his pace down. He was always wary an untrusting of others, preferring to stay to himself. But this male seemed different from the rest; what it was Zion couldn't put a paw on yet.

Although, Atreus did absolutely nothing to give off signs of him actually being a predator of wolves, why did it seem as if everyone had a bad feeling about him? Was it just a vibe or what? He tried so hard to seem nice, innocent but it just didn't seem to work. "So what exactly do you do for entertainment?" he asked, already knowing what it was like to be a loner. He often went months before reaching another pack to terrorize. But often when he was bored he just traveled until his feet refused to carry him anymore. Then he'd nap. But these loners were different. They seemed to stay in the valley in between the two rival packs. He wasn't sure they could actually be considered loners. After all, there were more than a few loners upon these lands, and in addition they had the Falling Moon wolves and Dancing Star wolves constantly wandering into the territory. Therefore, they were never really alone, were they? Apparently not, but he decided to refrain from pointing this out.
"I mean, you're out here all alone, aren't you?" he questioned, tipping his head to the side as he looked at her for a moment. "Doesn't it get boring?" he asked, adding a bit more to the question and trying to start some conversation between the two, for she seemed extremely awful at keeping up a conversation but he'd have to bear that for that. Or for a while..However long it took to get where he wanted to get. He sniffed the air, a male's scent hitting his nares. He released a sigh. He'd been having fun with the females but males worked just as well.

Zion slowed his pace, seeing the male sigh. He then realized his own scent must have been caught, and they knew he was here now. He then examined the fae, gray and brown, with white legs that had black spots. ||Odd looking fae. But she is pretty.|| He decided to wait to be spoken too, instead of trying to jump into whatever their conversation was about. He gave a snort, telling the fae that he was there, since the male already knew.
He wondered what these two were doing here, seeing as how the brute was a Falling Moon. If they were mates, then the male would lose whatever ranking he had. Zion laughed to himself, finding this fact amusing. Love was pathetic, everyone swooning and running around like fools, becoming weak with their infatuation. They became mushy, and began to do idiotic things, never seeming to think logically. It made him sick to his stomach, like he'd eaten rotten caribou.
But that was why he flirted, never meaning a word of what he said to the faes, unless he complimented looks. Honestly, they bugged him to death, for they were always looking for something. Commitment and such. And unfortunately for him, he'd inherited some good looks, if he had to say so himself of course. Gray eyes and reddish-brown fur, muscular and large. He thought himself a prize, and the faes he'd run across in his life also seemed to think so.
As he was complimenting himself, he looked up and noticed that the male seemed to be growing bored with the fae. ||Maybe they aren't mates afterall.|| He thought, but waited to see how things played out.

Yeah it gets boring... Kaira thought. She wanted to talk about something else now. Maybe about him. She quickened her pace to keep up with him. "I dunno." she said in an obviously bored tone.
"So, what about you? Tell me about yourself." she said, lost in his eyes again. She was so lost she didn't even notice the other wolf greet them.
