"Damn it, where are all the wolves around here?" Kinaki muttered to himself, as he strolled through No Man's Land. His rogues and himself had been in Empyrean Valley for a couple of days now, but as of yet he had hardly seen another wolf, save for a couple who'd barely talked to him. He wanted some proper company, some varied company, someone who he'd never talked to before. As much as he liked the company of his pack, it was good to talk to others for a change; to get some variation. You never know what you might learn.
Heck, he might even bump into a pretty fae he could have a bit of fun with - if they weren't all already taken, that is. He'd never mess around with anyone in his own pack for the simple fact that if they took him seriously, it could mess things up immensely. He had the feeling Demi and Keanu had something going on, but they hadn't told him as of yet and as long as there weren't pups on the way (which would totally affect the way his pack worked) he wasn't particularly interested either.
Sighing, he told himself to shut up and forget about responsibilty for one afternoon. It did get tiresome, trying to keep a rabble of six with no proper pack land of their own, contented and happy. He wanted a break, wanted to meet some new wolves, and most of all, wanted to relax. Raising his dark muzle up to the cloudless heavens, he let out a long, deep howl for some company.

'Maybe you aren't looking hard enough.' came a silky voice from behind Kinaki, as Wheya swept passed him, then turned gracefully so she was standing infront of him, watching him her golden orbs, a happy glint in them.
She tilted her head, her white and grey fur flickering in the wind. She shuddered slightly, she wasn't used to these mountains, she preferred spending time in the forest near the river.
'Don't I know you?' she said, her brow furrowing slightly.

Running along one of her favorite places in the valley, Malo felt the wind blowing across her face as she moved higher and higher up the mountain, hoping to find Hood and Marilyn there by chance. Lifting her dark colored nose in the air, she did not find their scents, and her ears flattened with disappointment. However, another scent did cross her path, and she inhaled deeply. All of a sudden, a howl accompanied the smell, and she could sense that this new wolf was bored. Oh boy.
She sighed, seeing as how she had nothing else to do at the moment, and she moved at a slower pace than she previously was, seeing no need to rush. Another scent crossed her flared nostrils, and she could tell the new scent was female, while the original was that of a male. She had never before smelled the male, but the female's seemed vaguely familiar...perhaps she had seen her the first day she'd arrived in Empyrean Valley, in the forest at that strange gathering after a hunt.
Finally coming upon the two, a little lower on the mountain than she anticipated, she gave a small grunt. She recognized the fae a little, but not enough to make it count. She looked at the male, seeing that she was right in the fact she did not know him, and she gave a nodd in their direction. What could a couple of wolves like you be doing up here on a day like this? As Wheya interrupted Kinaki's thoughts, he was momentarily suprised that he didn't sense her before, but he didn't show it. He preferred instead to give her a cool, collected glance; those sorts of looks were his speciality, after all. As he surveyed the fae in front of him, he felt a faint hint of recognition. Hadn't he met her before, in No Man's Land? Before he'd become a part of Falling Moon? Ah, Falling Moon - he couldn't wait to plot their downfall, just for the simple reason he wanted land and they had it. Breaking away from his thoughts, he turned back to Wheya.
"I think we've met before, yes," He said simply, a faint smile etched across his handsome features, before he scented that another fae was yet to join the gathering. He grinned - maybe Wheya was right, he just hadn't been looking hard enough apparently. Turning to see in which direction the newcomer was heading towards them from, he saw Malo, a tan and beige coloured wolf with unusual markings. he flashed her a quick smile in a greeting, and replied a little disdainfully, "Looking for something to relieve the boredom, actually. There's not much to do about these parts, is there?"

She looked at him, wrinkling her nose and ignoring the tone of his voice. She wasn't one to deal with a lot of attitude, and she would quickly put him in his place if need be. She hoped she wouldn't need to. She nodded slowly, showing her agreement to his words. No, there wasn't much to do here. She had found that out the first few weeks here. And yet she couldn't bring herself to leave yet, and she wondered why.
She gave a smirk and looked him over, looking at his unique markings. Then again, she didn't look quite "normal" herself, and she almost laughed at this. However, she kept her composure and answered his question smoothly. No, there isn't. That's why you have to make things fun when you get the chance. She padded closer to the two, giving a non-hostile look towards Wheya, and she sat down, her blue eyes steady watching the two. [/center]
