Loch's amber eyes narrowed in a vain attempt to restrict the tears that were pushing at the back of his eyes. He shut them tight, but one single silver tear escaped the barrier and slid slowly down his flaxen cheek before soaking into his thick fur and disappearing completely. A large breath of air was heaved out of his lungs, only to be replaced by one equally as large a second later. His breathing came in raspy gasps, and his once proud bosy was held low, his head hung wearily.
The fire that had once burned inside those passionate amber orbs had just been extinguished. He could still hear the voices of the other wolves. 'It seems you are a bit unwanted, Loch,' the Caerwyn in his head kept repeating to the large male. If they didn't want him, perhaps he would join Falling Moon. But the more he thought about betraying his pack, even though they pretty much kicked him out, he became sick to the stomach. Lochnivar was fiercely loyal to Dancing Stars, and if they wouldn't have him, then it was the life of a vagabond from here on out.

Vixen was sitting alone in No Man's Land. She'd heard Lash had joined Dancing Stars, but she'd been avoiding him. She was attempting to come up with what to say. Suddenly, she whipped her head around. She heard movement.
Her eyes fell upon a stranger. Someone she'd never met before. He was in the body of her good friend, but it was a different soul altogether. She kept her head low, and her ears back as she went up to him. "Loch? What's wrong?"

Iris made her way idly through the forest. It was now obvious she was pregnant, and she was sure it would happen soon but she didn't know exactly when. Shaking her head, green eyes vibrant and filled with life, the female walked through the forest slowly, taking tender steps. The grass tickled her paw pads, and her smile didn't go away. Her green eyes looked about for anyone to speak to, mainly hoping she would find a sibling she could try and connect with, but found no one.
Iris was just about to give up until she caught scent of a male. Her first thought was to keep alert, but when she found him, he looked upset. Ears twitching, Iris thought of backing up but quickly decided against it. Iris opened her mouth to speak, but another female had took the question right out of her mouth. Closing her mouth again, Iris glanced at Vixen and felt nervous.
She stopped a few feet away from them, looking at Loch curiously, then at Vixen. She was facing the male, and she could see where a tear had ran down his cheek. Iris knew talking to a Dancing Star was dangerous for her, seeing as they were enemies, but Iris was just too kind to let a sad wolf go. Not when she could possibly help.

Blinking rapidly as he heard a familiar voice, Loch tried to expell all tears from his eyes. I'm a big boy, he thought, I can handle this. He turned his head, his vision, though blurred by tears that refused to cease, instantly picked out the body of Vixen, and as she neared him, her face as well. The sullen male tried to force a weary smile to his handsome features, but it was not use.
That once adorable, silly, dorky wolf was now gone, gone somewhere, never to return. What was left was just a fragment of what used to be, a shadow of his former self. "I'm fine." His voice cracked as if it hadn't been used in years, and his throat hurt as the words came out. Fine, he was hardly fine, but he knew Vixen, one of his oldest friends, would be able to tell.

"I know that thee is lying to thy speaker." She said, with a goofy smirk painted on her crimson coat. "Oh, thy friend, with a jacket of ebony, and trousers of white. As I, was not born on the previous sunrise. Thou is just down, I can see."
She glanced at Iris. "Hello, fair maide-, I mean, who are you?" She asked before looking back at Loch. His eyes once so full of passion an ambition, were now cold and empty. And his handsome features were drooping.
"Buck up, m'lord." She joked once more. "But seriously, what's eatin' you?"
ooc: LOL, I am listening to an audio CD of Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night' so excuse my medeival talk xD

Loch nearly smiled at Vixen's antics, then looked over to the pregnant wolf across the way. He nodded to her sullenly, and looked back to his russet friend.
"Dancing Stars has cast me aside." He shook his head, the long mane of fur on his neck and hackles dancing with his movements. "I was only trying to help," he whispered, eyes spun with shadows and worry. Where would he go? He was so alone.
So very alone.
ooc // Maybe has a surpirse plot twisty for Loch coming up soon!

Iris giggled softly at the way Vixen was speaking, stepping towards them so she was in full view. "My name's Iris." she said politely, looking from Loch to Vixen. Loch seemed more cheery now, but Iris' ears pricked at the sound of a whisper and she looked at Loch again. Her smile slowly disappeared, she didn't know exactly what he said, but she was sure it was something sad.
"I'm sure someone will welcome you back soon." she said softly. She knew what it felt like, to be alone and an outcast, but then she met Dachian. Handsome Dachian. It was depressing that they couldn't have pups this spring, but then reminded herself that they weren't even mates. He probably just liked her as a friend, anyway.
"Besides, she-" Iris nodded respectfully to Vixen, "-Seems to be friendly with you. Surely you are not alone when you have a kind friend here?"

The female glanced at the gathering of wolves without so much as a second glance. She wasn't in the mood for talking right now, she was infuriated by her broken leg. It was a little better now, no thanks to that stupid falling moon heir who never even helped her in the end. She snorted, decided the wolves were more interesting than mopping around by herself.
She glanced at them, and rolled her eyes, nope, she was wrong! These guys looked even more miserable then her. She tilted her head, and wobbled over, one of her back legs tucked under her so she couldn't damage it.
She glanced at the handsome male, wondering what was up with him. It was spring, so he was probably broken-hearted. She heaved a soft sigh, looking at him almost caringly.
'What's eating you?' [/size]

ooc// I know, but they were really horrible to him, so he feels as if he's unwanted there. So he left. The poor dear.
