...Except you.
Kaira laid on a small ledge on the mountain range everyone called Solitary. The entire time she had lived here she had made almost no friends. No one matched personalities with her, and no one liked her except for one. Wheya was that one. Kaira wasn't even sure that they were still as close, but at least she had her right?
But I still feel so alone.
She looked up as a large bird swooped up and landed on a ledge above her. It's beetle eyes stared daggers through her. It sent shivers up Kaira's spine. But she still sat there, waiting, and watching. Her eyes darted from the bird, to another bird who was going to land right beside the first. It landed, but still she sat.
No ones there to save me.
The birds started to squak to each-other, talking in they're bird-language. Kaira longed to know what they were say. Longed to find out what they were thinking. Pleaded to know they're plans, but for no reason in perticular. Was it boredom? Or just plain insanity. Kaira didn't know or care. But still she watched and waited.
From this thing I call life.
One bird stretched it's wings, and hovered ubove her . The others soon followed. Kaira looked up at them, but didn't move. What were they gonna do? They were just birds, right? Only birds. Birds just made bird calls, right? The squaking continued. One bird swooped down and grabbed her scruff. It got half her body off the ground with it's talons peircing her skin, but the skin ripped, and down she went. Kaira still watched and waited.
I want a hero,
She landed with a thud on a pile of mud. She fell 3 stories, and was still alive. She couldn't feel her front legs. The moaned and tried to get up, but fell right back down instantly. Adrenaline still pumped throughout her body. The pain was kept away, for atleast a little while, then she could figure out how bad she was hurt. But for now she just watched and waited.
To take me away.

A sudden barking filled the air as Mocha came charging forward. She didn't feel a particular attachment to the Dancing Star pack just yet, so she had no worries about wandering in and out of the territory. She'd seen the birds slowly surround the brown wolf and a few of them try to pick her up. She growled, hoping to scare the birds off and then shifted her gaze to the other wolf. Why wasn't she making any effort to fight back or defend herself? It didn't make any sense.
The white and brown she-wolf paused for a moment before she continued yapping and snapping at the birds in an attempt to get them away from the other wolf. From what she knew of birds, it was rare for them to attack a full grown wolf unless they knew it was weak or sick. To Mocha, at least, the other wolf seemed to be perfectly fine. She shrugged it off and just told herself that the birds in this area were different to the ones she was used to and made a mental note to be careful around them.
"Are you...okay?" Mocha asked over her shoulder in between barks and jumps at the birds. It all kind of reminded her of a game that she used to play when she was a pup. Yep, just like chasing the butterflies, only more serious and potentially dangerous. What a fun game!

The adrenaline was gone, and she was left with searing pain running through her body. She knew for a fact she had broken some of her ribs and fractured her two front legs. She then saw Mocha. She looked up, it was unusually obvious that you could see the pain in her eyes. "No." she responded flatley.
Kaira tired to sit up but it hurt so much she let herself fall back to ther ground with a plop. Kaira knew she was till in dager. A predator could come and take advantage of her weak situation.

Mocha snorted softly and kept barking and gnashing her teeth until all the pesky birds were gone. She was left with a single shallow scratch running across her tawny snout which stuck out as she turned around and looked down at the loner. "What happened? Why weren't you trying to chase them off?" she asked, trying to get a sympathetic and worried tone to her voice. She carefully walked over, her muscles tense, ready to hop away if the other wolf attacked.
"Is something wrong? Oh...please don't tell me you want to die," she said, sitting down. On one paw, she wasn't very good at handling suicidal wolves and on the other, she would feel bad for sticking her nose into someone else's business when she may not have been wanted. It was either that or she just saved a life. Of course, she preferred to think of herself as a hero, but she could never be sure.

Kaira sighed. Why didn't she fend those pesky birds off? She yawned and thought again. Am I suicidal? No, no, it's something else. I just don't fit in anywhere I go right? I hope I'm right. Kaira yawned again and scratched at a tick.
"I guess, I guess it's just because I really don't care anymore." she said honestly. Or at least she thought that was the truth. kaira wasn't sure about anything really these days, and it bugged her to the bone.

Mocha just watched Kaira and sighed. An apathetic one, eh? she thought and lay down about a foxlength away from her. "So what made you feel like...not caring anymore?" she asked, looking at the ground. She figured it was obvious that she didn't have to answer if she didn't want to so she didn't bother voicing that little bit. She glanced up and looked at her intently.
"I don't believe I know you...what's your name?" she asked before lifting her head and tail proudly. "I'm Mocha," she said with a grin. She was very proud of her name. She thought it was pretty and fun to say.

Wheya lifted her muzzle, her ears twitching delicately. She sniffed the air, catching her sister's scent. Wheya let out a snort, it's not like Kaira had made much of an effort to be close to her sister, so why should she care? She heaved a sigh, and sat down, listening to birds up on the mountains. Wheya was fine without her sister anyway, Kaira had been acting weird lately, she didn't like it. She snorted, looking away from the mountains where she could smell her sister.
She growled with frustration, she didn't need an emo sister anymore, it just ticked her off everytime she saw her moping around! Despite her arguement, she bounded off to the mountains to find her sister.
'Kaira,' she growled a harsh greeting, and padded up to the wolf she once thought was her sister.

"My name's Kaira. You smell of Dancing Stars. They are nice over there. Can you help me? I'd like to not get soaked." Kaira said, looking up at the ever-darkening sky. She would tryi to make friends from this point on, She vowed to herself. And if she didn't she would join a pack.
"Hello Wheya, I haven't seen you in a while. Hows everything been?" she asked sweetly, trying to forget the pain with gritted teeth. "Cna you help me get to a dry place?" she asked as the rain started to come down in a pour.
Kaira coughed a little. Then it turned to flat out choking. The adrenaline had helped her for a little while, but now it had worn off, and the real injuries were setting in. One of her broken ribs had pierced her lungs. Very little oxegen was getting to her blood, so she turned very pale. She breathed faster and faster, keeping her heart pumping barley. She managed to squeez out one last word. "Help." The breathing stopped. The thump of her heart stopped. Her blinking stopped. The tears had stopped.

OoC// Oh crap, me has another sad wolfeh >.>
BiC// Wheya felt panic flutter nside herr, 'Kaira!' she screamed, racing to her side. 'Kaira! Don't leave me...' she said helplessly, tears running down he face. She shook her head violently, leaning into her sister, snuggling into her warm fur. 'You can't die...' she wepped softly, feeling hollow inside. Her big sister, the only person she had everfelt close to. It all came flooding back. The past, what they had once had. And what Wheya now had.
No mother, no father, no sister, no mate, no pups... No friends...
No-one loved her anymore.
More silent tears rolled down her face, as she gently rocked to and fro with her sister's body. She felt alone, so alone. She needed her sister... Se raised her muzzle and relased a sad song to the sky, welcoming the rain that fell on her, and soothed her burning cheeks.
'You're all I have...'

Tessar was skipping along, whistling to the tune of 'Zippity Doo Dah', when he heard a faint 'Help' in the distance. He turned his path, and put a stop to his whistling. He had his mouth slightly gaped as he peeked his head through a shrub. Wheya? He thought to himself.
He padded onto the scene. "Wheya, what's wro-" He said, noticing the lifeless wolf that lay near his paws. "Oh... I see. Family member?"

Wheya swung around at Tessar, 'Not just any family member! My only family member left!!' she hissed, baring her teeth. Anger and sadness bubbled inside her, 'You'd never understand!' she growled, looking back at her sister's lifeless body. More tears rolled down her beautiful face. 'Sorry, Tess, but... She's all I had...And...' she bit her lip, 'She's the only wolf who stopped me going insne from the past. She helped me forget...even though it destroyed her life...' she whispered, her voice cracking at the end.
She stood up, wailing softly, and took a few paces back. 'Oh, Tess...What should I do?' she asked, nuzzling him, it was comforting, she didn't know why. Tessar made her feel a little better just from being there.

Tessar raised his row as she nuzzled into him. Tess? He was confused. Who was this Tess? Finally it dawned on him. Oh... Nickname.... He sat down, a bit uncomfortable, but he didn't let it show. "Wheya, get over it." He pondered. He'd never gone through death before.
"Wheya... Sh-she's n a better place a-and... She looking down on you riht now smiling?" He said, unsure of what to say. He wasn't that sensitive to begin with, now he had to console some chick 'cause her sister was dead? "W-what I mean to say is, your sister loved you for you, and she died in an honorable way. She wasn't murdered. She didn't die because she sinned. She died naturally. SHe's not n pain any longer. She's happy now." He said, and nuzzled her side.

Her uncontrolable sobbing died down a little bit as she listened to Tessars words. Obviously he didn't know what it was like to loose someone you loved, but his words still comforted her. She nodded slowly, holding in all the pain she felt, and looked up at the sky, wet tears glistening on her cheeks. She nodded again, and looked down at Tessar giving him a sad smile. 'I know, but I only wish she had died in a more respectable way...' she said sadly. She sighed softly, the chilly wind whipping her pelt. He couldn't expect her to just...Get over her sisters death, could he? She paused, she wouldn't be surprised if he did though, he was falling moon, after all, and he never seemed to understand her. She shook her head, but he was so lovely... She buried her face into his warm fur.
I just don't know who to beliave anymore...

"Well, that's the most respectable way available right now, besides killing a dancing star. Or a falling moon, depends on your point of view." He shrugged. "Listen, I'm sorry, but if you want someone to relate to you, you've got the wrong wolf. I've never lost someone close to me. But, I guess if you are looking for someone to talk to, you can tell me anything." Tessar said softly. He was a bit disgusted with his words in his head, but they seemed to make sense.
As he looked up at Wheya, he coldn't help but smile. Just something about her made him want to squeal and run around like he did as a pup. "Wheya, I gotta tell you something, but I don't know if this is the right place."

Wheya pulled back, removing her muzzle from his soft fur. She tilted her head, watching him innocently. She felt a little shudder run down her spine, but she ignored it. What he first said didn't make any sense at all to her, she was pretty clever, but what did he mean? Why would Kaira killing a dancing star have any relevance to her death...?
'I know, you can tell me anything, too...' she said softly, gazing up at him with big, hazel eyes. Wheya glanced at her sister's limp body once more, and felt her gorge rise.
'Well...Can you help me take my sister to the roots of death before you tell me it?' she asked quietly, 'Because I need to tell you something, too...'
