I don't care A female wandered along the Lined Cliffs, head held low as she smelled the ground carefully. It may have been dangerous for a pup to come up here, seeing as they could have been blown off by the weather, but this wolf was a strangely beautiful, fully grown wolf. Myu had no trouble wondering along the cliffs without a care in the world, wondering about different things. Useless things. She thought about death, curious about how it felt, what it was like to die early. Myu didn’t say her thoughts out loud, seeing as no one was around to contemplate her words, but she did mutter something under her breath as the rain came down harder and in more quantities,
She wondered to the highest point that was accessible on the cliffs, and she looked down at the growing green land below her. Soggy dirt and rain drops attached themselves to her fur, but she ignored them, squinting and smirked slightly as she looked over at the Falling Moons Land, and nodded slightly as if acknowledging them. She did like being the pack, she just didn't like the fact she was just… There. Nothing interesting happened to her anymore, but Myu was fine with how everything was. Myu narrowed her eyes at the thought of even being happy, how pathetic. What a pathetic feeling, no one could ever be truly happy. There was always something wrong with the world, so why should someone be happy when there was a large chance that happiness could be broken too easily? She took a step back, looking over at No Mans Land, then at Dancing Stars and snorted. She still didn't care for them.
I don't care Backing up, Myu turned and wandered around the cliffs again, wincing as rain pelted into her eye and she looked round, seeing nothing but green grass and brown rocks and looked back ahead. Anything could be out here, hiding behind a rock, in the rain and she didn't know. Myu hesitated for a moment before snorting and walking on, taking long strides as she did. Nothing frightened her, nothing would be able to put fear into her eyes, Myu smirked at the thought of anyone else close to her dying. That wouldn't be for a long time.
That wouldn't be possible.
I don't care

It was raining, hard. Mud sloshed around at his feet as he climbed the mountain, looking for a dry cave. Water dribbled from the spaces in his pelt, making his fur stand on end. He looked really goofy. He blinked back water from falling into his eyes. The only place he found himself though was on a peticularly high ledge. And what was worse was he wasn't alone.
Roger grunted. He shook his yellow and black pelt free of droplets, only to be filled up once more. Roger tried to ignore the female as he sat down under the shelter of an over-hanging rock. His green eyes glared coldley at the fae, but he didn't say anything. Why would he?

Myu swished her head round, dark eyes staring at the mysterious male. She didn't blink, but watched as she found shelter. She could go over there and share the shelter with him, seeing as it wasn't his, or she could stand out in the rain like an idiot and catch a cold. Snorting, She decided sharing a dry area with a stranger was the better choice. If he tried anything, she would fight him off and leave for another shelter.
Myu loped towards him, standing underneath the shelter and held back a smirk. Shaking her fur clear of most of the water, and probably giving it all to Roger, Myu sat down on and wrapped her tail round her paws neatly, eyes narrowing to thin slits. She waited for his reaction, wondering if he was a short tempered wolf or a kind-hearted Dancing Star type wolf that would laugh it off. But, seeing his cold glare, Myu was guessing the latter was close to impossible.
Myu wondered if she should speak or not, but finally she looked away, at the world getting wetter and wetter. "You new to the Valley?" she asked casually, not looking at him for a moment. When a rain-drop hit her nose, she snorted and finally looked at the male, looking him up and down for the first time.

Roger just sat there. But when she came and sat by him she got a little annoyed with the situation. He had come for alone time, like he got everyday. This wolf was probabl one of those crazy-drama-queens running around Falling Moon. These wolves irked him to the core. But he would rather be part of the Falling Moon's than a Loner because he had a feeling that the loners were gonna get it.
Are you knew to the valley? He repeated her words in his mind. Being knew, it was different. He thought back to his old home. The one he had loved so much. the one where he as destined a high rank. The one where he was a 'good' wolf. But that was the past, and the past was behind him, so he looked at Myu with disgust and said "Why do you care?"

She waited. he seemed to be thinking about something, but when he gave her a look of disgust she returned it and rolled her eyes, looking back at the rain. Such a drama king, always gotta think something's important. Why did she care? Myu almost laughed, but something like that just sounded ridiculous. What was there to laugh at, apart from Roger himself? "I don't. I just don't want to sit in awkward silence, and thought that would be a good conversation starter." she explained, looking at him again.
Myu wondered where this wolf was from, just out of boredom, and why he wouldn't open up to her like any other wolf would do. Perhaps this wolf actually had more than five brain cells, and was actually worth trying to have a conversation with. Myu was starting to doubt it, though.

Roger sighed. Why wouldn't this wolf leave him alone like any other wolf would do. He looked up at her like he would normally. Ah, what the heck. She smells of Falling Moon, and everyone's gonna have heard of me by tomorow anyway. Telling her my name won't hurt.
Roger opened his mouth to speak, but closed it again. What was he to say? He hadn't had a formal conversation like this in a while. He decided to just wing it. "Fine, I'll tell you. My name's Roger. I'm from outside the valley. Are you happy now?" he asked her. Not that he cared if she was happy. He was never happy, so why should anyone else be happy.
"This fuckin' rain won't stop!" he shouted to no one in perticular.

He opened up to her, which was good, and Myu snorted when he asked if she was happy. Moron. Myu stayed silent for a moment, ear twitching at his frustrated yell about the rain and sighed gently. "I'm Myu." she said, not even trusting him to remember it. Watching the rain, Myu thought it over. She didn't mind it, it made her feel more relaxed, but it seemed dear Roger thought different.
"Any reason you came to this hell hole?" she question, looking at the male again. It was interesting to see his reactions, he seemed reluctant to speak with her. Either Roger didn't like Myu, or he was just anti-social. Her dark eyes hid her curiosity with malice and depression, but opened up to her horrible past. She didn't care if he looked, she didn't care if his eyes were like the devil and could penetrate a soul; her soul was hollow.
"To be honest, I don't know why I'm here." the female admitted, lying down. She curled up, back to the rain but part of her body was out of the shelter so she wasn't close to Roger, and she rested her head on her front paws, looking up at him.

OOC: That made me laugh.
BIC: Roger stared off into Falling Moon land. He could barley see a wolf walking around down in it. The wolf looked like an ant from this high up. He almost smiled at that. He felt like he had power from up there on the cliff. Roger snapped back to reality. Why did I come here? Well, isn't it obvious?
"If you think this is hell you don't know what hell is." he said flatley. He didn't really care for this conversation, but he continued anyway out of boredom. He wanted the rain to stop, or else he would have to spend the night with this wolf on this ledge. That would be a nightmare. She might want to talk all night.

ooc| ^-^ What amuses me is they both don't want to talk, but they do out of boredom.
Bic| Myu snorted. He must have had some tragic history, seemed everyone did these days. She closed her eyes for a moment, but her ears were pricked to show she wasn't asleep. Myu was tempted to fall asleep just to see how he would react, but thought better of it. This was a wolf she was talking about. A wolf she was probably annoying, but to be fair, he was annoying her too.
It was all good.
"Oh please." Myu snorted again, peering at him with one open eye this time, "Your family die or somethin'? Trust me, I've been through deaths. And when you see the drama down there... Good god, you'll know this is hell." Myu wondered what this male had been through. She would not pity him, she would not pretend to pity him, and she certainly would not want to even think about pitying him. Such a pity.

Roger got really angry then. She didn't know anything. Anything at all. She probably had not felt the pain he had. Waiting on the cold grounds as an obedient pup for his parents and siblings. Then end up waiting around there for over 3 years. Trying to obey your parents, and not understanding they weren't coming home. She had no idea.
Roger dug his claws deep into the ground, srpaing up dirt and pebbles. "You have no idea." he said through gritted teeth. Roger could take her out now and be quick, or he could just leave. He decided to do neither, and just wait there for a while, to see what she did.

Myu narrowed her eyes. "Unloved and unwanted, eh?" she muttered, closing her eyes again. Myu thought her life over, it was just filled with deaths and drama. Her life was going no where fast. "I killed my sister after she killed our brother, and my family rejected me. Reasonable, I suppose... I got kicked it, and then I watched my mate die in front of me. I know what it's like to lose a loved one." This was the first time Myu ever opened up to someone like this, and she was positive he probably didn't care. She was just trying to prove her point, they were both probably equals.
Myu opened her eyes again slowly, just in case Roger tried to attack her. She waited for his reaction, and frowned angrily at herself. Why did she open up? Was she holding all that in and not even knowing it? Hopefully Roger wouldn't take her on as the attention seeking type, because Myu detested those kind of wolves. Little did she know, right inside that messed up brain of hers, she was. Secretly, she was. Myu just wanted attention, but she wouldn't go to drastic measures for it.

There was no way to get around this without murder, so he had to tell her. She probably wouldn't care. But she had just told her storie, so it would only be fair if he told at least part of his. So that was what he would do. He licked a tick from his paw then looked back down at her.
"I was just a pup. My father's terratory was prey-less. So he lead a band of wolves to go to the other pack and steal a little prey. The rest of my family went with him. I was lookout. I was supposed to sit there until my father relieved me of my duty. No one in the pack ever saw that band again. I was still young when the rest of them gave up hope. But the continued to put a small morsel in front of me every once in a while. I never lost hope. So I waited there for them. I waited. The rest of the pack died of starvation. 1 year ago I gave it up. I had waited for 3 years. Following my father's orders. being good. Look where it's got me." he said, shaking by the time he had finished.

Her eyes opened up more until they were fully opened as she listened to his story. Staying quiet, Myu contemplated on which expression she should put on and finally decided on confused. She was curious, but not curious enough to let it show. Like she promised herself, she did not pity him. They were in a similar situation, both family probably dead, but that didn't mean she would like him.
"Why didn't you just give up? If you hunted, then you could've saved that pack. One more helper, one more wolf save. You could've saved a female and then repopulated and all that shit." she question, her tone almost taunting. If he did, then perhaps he wouldn't even be here. Would Myu care? Something inside her told her she did, Roger was just a form of entertainment, a little mouse and she was the cat.

Roger knew there was an easy answer, I was stupid. Indeed he was, but he didn't know better. Roger was bubbling with anger, but he could control it. The wolf was like him, and he could understand her pain, but he didn't want to pity. He decided to give her explanations to all of those qestions, instead of killing her.
"I couldn't give up. My father hammered into my brain day in and day out before he left- NEVER give up or bad things will happen. I was a pup, I didn't know it was hopless. If I hunted, I would only find scragly little things, not enough to feed my pack. If I wanted bigger things I would have to go into the other pack's terratory, and you know what happened last time. And the females left long before the others died off, so I couldn't repopulate." Roger explained.
Roger couldn't believe he wwas talking to a wolf like this. He prefered not to talk to tothers most of the time. And when he did he never opened up like this. Maybe it was just a longing, a longing for one companion. Maybe, boredom? Roger tried to convince himself it was boredom, but deep down he knew he wanted one friend. And one friend was all.

Myu stayed silent and still as she listened, slowly looking out at the rain as he spoke. When he finished, Myu still didn't speak. She was thinking about his words, his tale... It was sad, and any other wolf might have given him sympathy or pity, but Myu could tell he wouldn't want it. Roger was strong, his loneliness seemed to be keeping him going.
"Well, shame that." she said finally, not able to think of anything else. Her tone of voice made it clear that she didn't care, and she was getting irritated at the heavy rain fall, it was clear it wasn't going to stop any time soon. Myu looked back at Roger, they were both alike. No one was there to love them, and no one was there for them to love. Myu didn't care about that anymore, she didn’t need a friend. Did she?
