Midnight let her fur relax. Caerwyn would handle this way better than she could. And he sure did, alright. She gazed at the back of his head proudly, wondering how he ever got his good use of word skills. He was an amazing speech maker. She knew she would have to work on that. Learning to keep your cool when something like this happened. She looked around at the crowd; these were the faces of wolves she loved dearly. She'd die for them, so would Caerwyn, and she hoped they would all recognize that. She looked back at Eyelle, humbling herself.
"I'm so sorry, Eyelle," she said quietly, a total change from her aggressiveness just before. "I don't want you to leave us. I don't want you to feel like I'm against you. I've lost someone before, too, but I know it doesn't match what you're going through right now." She glanced at Caerwyn again, unsure if she should say anything more for the situation. Probably not, he had things under control.

Lochnivar could only stand with his mouth agape and his eyes open wide. His large body was sheltered in the thick foliage of a nearby shrub, but he could see and hear everything that had transpired as clearly as he could if he were standing right next to Eyelle. Then it came to him: That i where he needed to be. Right next to her. Even though he let her go, even though he gave up, he still loved her. He only wanted her to be happy, and not have to break someone's heart. He would've never given up if it weren't for Toboe.
But Loch could plainly see as clear as day that the flaxen-hued male was nowhere to be seen. Loch was just learning of these events now, he never knew any of Eyelle's family, for he was relatively new to Dancing Stars. And Jasmyne was her sister!? That was news to Loch. Taking a huge breath from the atmosphere and drawing it slowly into his lungs, he stepped forth from the thickets and cleared his throat to announce his presence. Giving Caerwyn and Midnight a stern, unforgiving look, he padded up to Eyelle and stood beside her, smiling half-heartedly to the female and her sister.
"Eyelle. Jasmyne." He let his gaze fall. but did the best he could to continue to speak. "I-I had no idea. I'm so new to Dancing Stars, I-" He stammered, a tear slipping from his eye for all the suffering his friends had been through. "I didn't even know. But I heard everything, and I'm here for you. Both of you. You are both my dear, dear friends, and whatever your needs may be, I can help." He looked up at Eyelle's soft emerald gaze. "I've got no mate, no responsibility, so if you need me, I will be there."
He tried his best to smile, but, looking from sister to sister and seeing their dismal expressions, he had a very hard time. "I just wanted you to know that you're not alone. You'll never be alone so long as I'm alive. Neither of you."

Midnight was angry. And seeing the look Lochnivar gave she and Caerwyn almost set her off. She was going to lose her temper very, very soon. She had not been an Alpha very long, but if this was the kind of respect that the pack was going to give her and her mate, she wasn't sure if she even wanted to be a leader. This wasn't what the pack needed. They needed to stick together, not fall apart. And now they were losing the trust of the pack.
She padded up closer to Caerwyn and gave him a serious look. "Caerwyn, I think we should talk," she whispered, her ears twitching slightly. "As soon as you can spare to leave." Her heart was pounding against her chest from all of the excitement and her blood was still boiling.

Eyelle's eyes narrowed as Loch came onto the scene. He'd been eavesdropping, and now was when he decided to step in? Baring her teeth, she rolled her eyes and turned away from him and his false promises. "We don't need you, Loch," she said coldly, suddenly staring at him with icy green eyes. "We've got each other and that's all we need at the moment."
Caerwyn watched Loch's stern look, and fire boiled up inside of him. He growled lowly at the disrespectful brute and narrowed his flashing yellow eyes. He'd just sorted it out with Eyelle, surely, why did Loch have to bound in here and start things up again? "Seems you're a bit unwanted, Loch," Caerwyn said drily, lifting his head domineeringly. He turned to Midnight as she spoke to him, and he watched her carefully, for the first time since he had picked her as his mate he wondered whether she was actually up to the job of an alpha. His ears flicked in thought.
"Eyelle, do you trust me?" he said very suddenly, turning his gaze on her. She looked at him defiantly, silence ringing in the air. Then she sighed. "I trust you." She said quietly. He nodded as if that was all he needed to hear, and she looked at Jasmyn for emotional comfort. "Okay, Midnight," Caerywn nodded, padding away to talk to his mate.

As soon as the words hit his ears, Loch's already broken heart shattered into a million tiny pieces, unable to be put back together again. His pack didn't want him. "I just wanted you to know that you're not alone. You'll never be alone so long as I'm alive. Neither of you." His words rang in his ears, and they stung him like knives. As he jumped backward from Eyelle's unforgiving jaws, he yelped loudly, the shrill noise echoing throughout the valley.
"I...just wanted to help." Tears began to burn in the back of his eyes, but then a furious anger boiled up inside of him. "It's not like your precious Toboe is here for you, Eyelle! You are a stupid, stupid female! Who needs any of you ungrateful wolves anyway? I'm better off alone!" And with that, the powerful male whirled on his hind legs, shooting an evil glance at Caerwyn, and jolted toward the smaller male, jaws parted to reveal the sharp weapons that were aimed right for the alpha's neck.
Stopping right as his snout neared Caerwyn, he clamped his jaws shut on thin air, threatening the wolf before him, yet letting him emerge completely unharmed. "I hate you all." He muttered under his breath and stalked away. And as he padded slowly away, the tears that had been pushing at the back of his eyes for so long, finally escaped, but only one, single silver tear rolled down his flaxen cheek and sank into his thick fur.
I just wanted to help...

Topaz's eyes widened. She didn't want Loch to leave. She liked him, he made her feel...Safe. She gave Eyelle a disbeliaving look, 'He was being kind! He was only trying to help!' anger bubbled inside her, 'YOUR SUCH A BLOODY DRAMA QUEEN! You kick up a big fuss, and when everyone tries to help you push them away!' her mouth gaped, 'I...I...!' her gaze shifted to Caerwyn, still not beliaving how Eyelle could be so horrible.
'You act like you have nothing, but you have much more than me or my brother.' she growled, eyes blazing, her body shaking with anger. Topaz spun around and called, 'Loch!!' then bounded after him.
Quartz looked at all the wolves. Finally he heaved a sigh and followed his sister.

Eyelle spun around, fuming. She faced Topaz and snarled loudly, demanding her attention. Being called a drama queen when her family had just fallen apart was completely out of order, and she wouldn't stand for it.
"HE DOESN'T CARE. If he did he wouldn't have just left me before!" She cried. "For god's sake, Topaz, you don't even know the half of what I'm going through right now. Keep your nose OUT of other people's problems ESPECIALLY when they are as upset as I am!"
She felt her chest heaving with the effort of the argument. She couldn't even be bothered to deal with Topaz, she was the drama queen here. Snarling again out of frustration and mourning, she sat down abruptly and stared hard at the ground.

Midnight listened the arguing intently, her heart truly going out to Eyelle. Everyone deserved to be happy. Eyelle was a passionate and loving female and in some ways, reminded her of Midnight's own mother. She didn't deserve to feel so lost. But Caerwyn didn't deserve to be so belittled by her, either. But what happened had happened, and Midnight was only focused now on finding out the truth of things. She turned away from the arguments; the pack could handle it on their own now. She trusted they would calm down and act maturely.
So she padded away to follow Caerwyn, matching his strides almost perfectly, her tail still raised in dominance as if she was still being challenged. She was learning how tough the job really was; it wasn't going to all be fun and games. But now she suddenly felt stronger; she survived her first real fight with another packmate and she had tested out her authority and dominance. It felt good, right.
{Do you want a new thread or to continue here with them?}

ooc- We can have another board with them (: I'll make it after this ^^
bic- Eyelle's once so illuminated eyes were dulled with the weary effort of being upset. Feeling more and more worthless, she didn't regret being angry. She didn't regret turning Loch away. Well, she hoped she didn't.
Sighing quietly, she nuzzled into her sister's neck. She only really wanted to have a go at Caerwyn and everyone had been dragged into it. As a Alphas, Eyelle was sure Caerwyn and Midnight hated to be defied. She knew that. She also knew that by now she didn't care.
With a mother dead, a father disappeared with an uncle and the brutal death of one of her sisters, she felt tears coming on hot and salty again. She sniffed, knowing now why Kitty (her youngest sister) had left the valley so long ago. For some reason, Kitty had forseen what could happen. What did happen.
Standing up, Eyelle walked away to be alone again. Alone so she could self-destruct mentally and not hurt anyone else. She didn't want to hurt anyone anymore.

Jasmyne sat on the ground, stunned by the sudden uproar around her as Topaz, Loch, and her sister got riled up again. The shouting-match was almost too much to bear, now wasn't the time or the place. She stared dismayed as Loch disappeared, and she didn't know whether she should chase after him or stay with her sister. Then the twins too slowly disappeared, and her heart was saddened to see the wolves she had grown up with leave her side. She turned her head slightly as she felt Eyelle press against her, and she felt hot tears begin to run down her creamy cheeks.
Her green eyes were filled with tears that she tried desperately to fight back, but with no avail. She laid her head onto her sister's, and closed her eyes, unable to handle the knowledge of her parents and sister's fate and the fact that all their friends had just abandoned them. Suddenly, she felt movement underneath her, and she looked on as Eyelle stood up, her own face covered with tears, as she padded off.
E-eyelle? Where are you going? D-don't leave me..Jasmyne got up, her body seeming heavy, and she followed Eyelle. She didn't want to be alone right now, she wanted and needed to be with her sister.
