Jasmyne nodded slowly to his "words of wisdom", taking them in with a solemn look. She thought about his words, not knowing that they would fit into a rough situation she would soon have to cope with. She gave a smile to his words, and a strange look to the male. Her demeanor changed, and she took on a flirtatious attitude. Standing up and circling Haine, she looked at him with seductive green eyes.
Now where did you learn this, Haine? From past places you've been, or other wolves you have met in this valley? She really was curious to know, for at least it sounded logical, to her anyway. She flicked her tail on his nose as she crossed in front of him again, then sat down next to Sukalina as she waited for him to respond to her actions. She was curious to see what he would do. Haine expertedly hid the shivers he got when Jasmyne circled him flirtaciously and he resisted the urge to get lost in her beautiful eyes. Can't tie yourself to one female... can you? I should try this wise wolf thing more often! Haine grinned widely, somehow turning it into a flirtacious half-smirk.
"Ahh," he boomed wisely, as she flicked her tail at his nose. "I've been many-a-place, my lovely Jas, travelled far and learnt much. Wolves don't teach you much, unless they're older and have actually done something with their lives. It's the other animals you have to learn from- eagles, bears, cougars, even prey like moose. All of those beasts which harness an awesome power, you can learn from them... just get in a fight with a bear and survive, and it'll teach you some important skills," he boasted mysteriously, raising a brow to reveal a scar running from his left eye down his cheek which was usually hidden by fur.
"Not to say, of course, that having a shelter life is at all bad," he tilted his head towards her almost gentlemanly, looking over at Sukalina and smiling widely still.

Jasmyne listened closely, her eyes fixed on him. She hadn't had much experience with any of the animals he mentioned, other than the moose, and almost let out a gasp at his scar. She held it in however, trying to seem more confident and brave than she was. Especially after the sheltered comment. Her mother had never really talked about the outside world with her and her siblings, other than to tell them their grandparents had been uncaring wolves and that she had their uncle had left because of them.
I don't think I'd want to get involved with a bear, dear Haine. And our valley is fresh out of cougars, so you may have to look somewhere else for them. Sorry. She got up and nudged him, really wanting to get a closer look at his scar. How she had missed it before, she did not know, and she wondered if Sukalina had noticed it either. She looked at her, then back at Vixen who had been unusually quiet for the most part.
Turning her attention back to Haine, she gave a flirty smile. Maybe you could show me some of these..."important skills" later on, no? [/center]

Sukalina caught Haine's eye and raised a brow. He was starting to sound like a mysterious Romeo, and the young femme watched, amused, as Jasmyne started to really play along. She couldn't really tell, but when Jasmyne circled Haine, Sukalina was sure she saw the strain in his body. How cute.
"A battle scar, Haine?" she asked, catching sight of the healed lesion down his face. "I never knew you were a survivor of a bear attack!" She tilted her head, frowning slightly, but she yearned to hear the story. Hopefully she wouldn't be interrupting anything, however, and she looked over at Jasmyne almost as if she was unsure of what the younger female would think.
{kind of a crappy post, sorry!}
