Tristan lay in the dens, feeling a little sad about his life. His talk with Midnight had helped, but he still couldn't help but think about how to correct the wrongs in his life... He wanted to go and find Kizu and Luki, and he knew eventually he would leave and do that. But not yet. He couldn't abondon Satine, or Nelly. He heaved a gentle sigh, or anyone else important to him...
He stared at the entrance of the den, and then rolled onto his back, feeling the blood go to his forehead he bolted upright, his head banging slightly. He shook his head and heaved another, heavier sigh, wondering when he would ever be free to leave.

Nelly, deep in thought, looked up to see Tristan lounging around. Her heart took a leap forward and she smiled. Nelly really did care for Tristan, perhaps more than she should, after all, for all she knew, Tristan was repulsed by her very presence. I think I'll at least say hello. Even if he is disgusted, I was polite. Walking forward, Nelly called out a meak little greeting. "Hello, Tristan." As she got closer, Nelly could tell something was troubling Tristan. She didnt know what, clearly, but she did want to help. More than anything she wanted to see him happy.Even if she wasnt the one to do that.

Tristan's auds pricked at the sound of Nelly's voice. He grinned, unable to contain his happiness to see her. 'Nelly!' he exclaimed, all source of sadness vanishing from his appearance, even though he could still feel that hollowness in his heart, he wouldn't let it show, he wouldn't let Nelly see him be sad. He liked Nelly, he liked her a lot. He often wondered about his feelings for her, and how he knew he shouldn't get in too deep...Incase...Incase...
A tear welled up in his eye. but he quickly swallowed his tears back down. He couldn't imagine Nelly gone, just like he still couldn't beliave Kizu was gone... He didn't want Nelly to leave, it would break his shattered heart into even smaller pieces. No, he would let go of Nelly, he couldn't get too close...
He looked away frmo Nelly, and down at the ground. He didn't want to forget Nelly, he didn't want her to have to go... He just wanted a friend...

Nelly was a bit taken aback by her friends appearance. He seemed so...desparetely sad. It made her heart want to break. She liked Tristan as well, though it wasnt that she didnt want to get close, it was that she didnt know how. "Tristan, whats wrong? Please...is there anything I can do to help?" She felt her own tears come forth as she watched her friend in so much pain, and she didnt know what to do about it. I hope he talks to me. I want hom to. Nelly looked at Tristan with pleading eyes, hoping he would let her in. She wanted so badly to be able to comfort Tristan. It was all a matter of if he'd let her.

A frown burrowed into Tristan's brow. His gaze shifted to the ground, his oceanic optics scanning to ground, pretending he was fine. 'There's nothing wrong...' he whispered desperatly, even though it was obvious he wasn't, he didn't want to trouble anyone. He heaved a shakey breath, thinking back to the times when he felt happy, when nothing mattered and all he needed was right infront of him. Kizu...
He felt painful memoies flood back. The day he lost everything...
Tears ran down his grey cheeks as he tried desperatly to forget the image of his father's lifeless corpse which lay unmovingly on his mind. He shook tears from his eyes, it had been an hour ago, but time was passing so slowly...It felt like days since his mother had shown up, and tenderly urged them away from the rotting smell of his father's flesh. She stood infront of Tristan, Kizu and Luki, telling them they should leave, because she had to stay with the alpha. Tristan could see the pain in his mother's eyes, and he knew that he would never see her again. He glanced once more at his father's corpse, before turning and bolting off into the forest without another glance at his mother. That was were he was now. Alone. In the forest all alone. He knew Kizu and Luki had been following him for a while, he could smell them, and hear them crashing through bushes behind him. But he was running faster, faster than he ever had before. Away. Away from the pain.
Silver tears glistened on his cheeks like they had stained his fur so long ago. He looked up at Nelly pitifully, a pleading look in his eyes.
'I'm so sorry.'

Nelly's heart felt as if it were going to burst forth from her chest. Her voice cracking, she said, "Tristan, talk to me." She walked forward and put her nose to his. "Please. Dont keep this pain inside. Let it out." Taken aback by his apology, she tore her face from his. "You have nothing to be sorry about Tristan! How can I make you understand, I want to help. No, I need to help! Tristan I l-" Nelly stopped talking then. She almost said too much. She had quite the tendancy of doing that. Stepping forth once more, she sat next to him and leaned her head against his shoulder. Her own tears spilt forth now. "Let me in," she begged.
