Summer was here finally. The wolf forgot how much she enjoyed the warm days, the sun hanging high above the land. What made this day even better was feeling the soft wind against her face, the surroundings becoming a blur. Her red eyes were narrowed… She was like a speeding bullet, whizzing past everything and everyone. She felt powerful, like she was the best… She was. She was the best, the greatest! Although now she was lost.
Slowing down, Demi came to a halt, looking about in the mist. It was rather annoying, unable to see where she was going, but was determined to keep going. Panic over-took her, though. What if the others were in danger? What if one was drowning, or another had fallen off a cliff? What if they were all fighting the Falling Moon pack and Demi didn't know? Her heart felt heavy, but she didn't let it show. She kept her head high and her stride quick, but didn't go into a run. Walking was always good too, but she felt too relaxed sometimes.
Demi smelt the air. Pausing, she looked round and noticed a young caribou bounding towards her. It was a big surprise for her, and it was gone before she could even reach out to claw at it. Something must have scared it… Glancing at where the caribou came from. Demi hesitated, then walked on again, a bit freaked out. She couldn't see the sun, but she could feel the heat from it. This place was a strange one.

Little did Demi know, there were others in the mist that day. Two others to be exact. The red brute recognized the Falling Moon scent anywhere, and the female the two scented now was covered in it. THowever, her own individual scent was unfamiliar. The orange and tan fae who accompanied him also recognized the scent, but it reminded her of an old friend she hadn't seen in quite some time. She looked to her companion for a moment, and the two spoke in whispers.
Do you know that fae? A curious look was given to Zion. No, I've never met her a day in my life. Do you see her yet?
Malo shook her head in response, the fog seemed unusually thick today. And by accident, the two had scared off a lost caribou in the direction of the fae they were tracking. It was more out of them being bored and having nothing better to do, and they figured any Falling Moon they didn't know was a threat if they ever wandered into No Man's. Suddenly, Malo stopped and her body went still, and Zion looked around to see what she was sensing.
Finally, the black fae came into sight, vaguely. The mist was still thick enough for them to hide, but not so that they couldn't make her out. The two looked at each other knowingly, and waited.

Demi snorted as she walked through the mist, but her pace was unusually slow. She was cautious now, whoever was in the fog with her was either hiding or lost. She sniffed the air, but didn’t catch any scent of Falling Moon. Loners… she muttered under her breath, looking to her left. The unfamiliar scent filled her nostrils and she waited for them to come into sight. She wasn’t going to find them for them, they would do the work for her. And if they didn’t find her, then that’s their loss.
Nostrils flaring, Demi slowly stepped forward, their scents stronger this time, and she froze when she noticed two figures. At least she hoped it was two… If they wanted a fight, then she wasn’t the wolf to go to. Her body was built for speed, not strength. Baring her teeth slightly, she attempted to make them both out, but she could only make out the fur colour on one of them. His back was almost black, but more grey-ish. Lifting her head up in a proud yet suspicious manner, she blinked.
Who are you? she demanded. They probably wouldn’t take kindly to demands, considering they were loners, but they’d have to stick. Demi waited for them to react, and while she did, she wondered if there were any more with them. They could be planning to ambush her just for fun, or they could be innocent loners trying to find their way out of the fog.

Malo snorted, not caring for the mysterious female's tone. She did not liked to be bossed, and wouldn't stand for it. Why so serious? You should really lighten up hun. She snorted, before rolling her eyes at Zion. Was it obvious she didn't get along with too many femmes? Except Marilyn, who she liked very much but hadn't seen much of. The two seemed to have a lot in common. Zion chuckled at Malo's reaction, and shook his head. His red fur seemed dull in the mist, and he disliked not being able to see. He took a bold step forward, and tossed his head. Well my lovely friend here is-My name is Malo, and I can speak for myself, thank you very much. Malo countered, cutting Zion off and glaring at him as he laughed again. He snorted at her and then turned his head back to the female in front of them, who he could make out a little more now. My name is Zion, if you must know. Now, who are you and why are you so far from your precious little home? His voice was deep, and his words came out as a uninterested statement more than a question. He really didn't care why she was here, but she seemed much smaller than he and his companion. || Jeez, who have Duke and Anevay been letting in that pack these days? This is a disgrace.||
