Skulls blinked, slightly bewildered. Tala seemed very confident, and sure of herself for such a young wolf who had only just met him... She was pretty and she knew it, but it was very odd having a fae act that way towards him. No-one had since his previous mate, Debi, had left. It was odd to think that he'd had a 'previous mate', since he seemed too young for it. He shifted vaguely uneasily on his feet, wishing his brother was here. He always felt more confident when Crossbones was around.
"I see," He replied lightly, with a quick smile. He guessed he should probably return the compliment, so added, "You're not bad either." Which in truth, she wasn't. Still, Tala was a Falling Moon and he could never allow himself to go anywhere near a fae from the Falling Moon lands. It would be utter hypocracy after how he'd disowned Deppene when she'd run off there.
He sidestepped slowly, so that Tala was no longer in front of him, and made to walk past her. "Thanks for showing me the way. Er, i'll be going now..."

Skulls chuckled. That Falling Moon fae was probably right, he just wasn't a fierce wolf. At all. It was laughable when he tried to be. As Tala touched his fur, he raised one eyebrow. What was she playing at? He couldn't tell whether she was trying to be friendly or intimidating.
"You're right," He said, grinning sheepishly. "And should I take that as a compliment or just as you being patronising?" He stretched his lean body out before padding slowly after her. Even as they began to take a first few steps, the mist that clung to them began to thin out a little, so that he could see her better. She seemed quite nice for a Falling Moon.

Skulls coughed lightly, before staring at her blankly. Were all Falling Moons like this, expecting something in return for any small favour? Most wolves in Dancing Stars were very helpful and generous... He shuddered, glad that he wasn't a member of the Star's rival pack. He'd probably be beaten up, or worse. They probably didn't even laugh there.
"Erm... If you don't show me the way out, i'll get angry," He retorted, trying to sound stern by letting of a vaguely fierce growl. "You don't... Err, want to see me when i'm angry." He warned her, half-heartedly.

He could hear her faint, light footsteps as they echoed on the ground, muffled by the fog, but he couldn't see her too well. Skulls was pretty tall and lean, so he was probably taller than her, but he wasn't of a particularly chunky buid; he wasn't a fighter. Or a hunter. Or anything much really. He wasted most of his time with his brother, playing the fools for the rest of the pack. Of course, the novelty of having twins had worn off a bit since there were now another pair of twins in the pack- young Topaz and Quartz.
"I didn't come here on purpose," He replied, rolling his eyes. " I'm Skulls by the way. Any idea how to get out of here?" The pale, silvery wolf wasn't quite sure why he was asking Tala this; everyone knew Falling Moons couldn't be trusted.

Stay alert. Be wary. Use all of your senses, Skulls told himself as he padded aimlessly around in a large circle, wondering which was the best way back to Dancing Stars. Just as he did so, the scent of a Falling Moon reached him. He blinked and his ears pricked upwards. He knew he was useless in a fight, so his best bet was to try and escape while he could.
He didn't have time to think of an escape route however, because the Falling Moon was already approaching him. It was a female, young by the looks of her, but she seemed confident. Her voice sounded is his ears and he twitched his nose for a moment, before admitting, quite truthfully, "I always am. Who are you, may I ask?" Last time he'd met a Falling Moon wolf, it had been another rather bitchy female. He just hoped they weren't related.

It was truly ridiculous. Surely Skulls, who had been in the area of Empyrean Valley all his life, would know his way around? Think again. He had the sense of direction similar to that of a pea. He'd wandered into the mist in No Man's Land while tracking some prey, unawares of how far from the Dancing Stars territory he was, until he stumbled in some marshy mud and fell over. Upon looking around, he's finally noticed that he wasn't actually in a forest, he was lost in the middle of a thick fog. And upon trying to get out, he'd made his way further into the area of No Man's Land, having now ended up at the mountains on one side of the valley.
Great, he thought, rolling his eyes. Where was Crossbones? In his idiocy, he'd even managed to seperate himself from his supposedly inseperable twin. He couldn't usually do it if he tried.

"Crazy? Hmm?" She replied to Haine, looking rather bewildered. Did he really think she was crazy? Of course, she had only woken up when she first met him, perhaps he didn't realise that she'd been concussed. Because Carmine wasn't crazy, pssh.
She smiled at Comatose's arrival, a shy look upon her face in awe of the massive wolf. "Hello!" She barked happily. "I'm Carmine. Are you a friend of Haine's?" Although Carmine was a fully grown fae, she was blessed with the innocence of a pup that most didn't have; especially Dancing Stars who had lost everything. She was probably the most cheerful wolf in the pack. It wasn't until the small shewolf was surrounded by three very large, not-quite-so-friendly wolves did she feel slightly bewildered. On Key's arrival, the pretty shewolf's tail, wagged gently, but not too enthusiastically; after all he wasn't too jolly-looking.

"Why are you laughing to yourself?" Came a cheerful, airy fae's voice through the mist. Seconds after, a small, red form followed it. Young Carmine appeared in the opposite direction to Haine, looking rather pleased to see a 'friendly' (or not so friendly) face amongst all the confusion of No Man's Land. She walked up to him, tail wagging gently in bouncy happiness.
"But then again, why not? I mean, I do..." Her face fell suddenly, and her innocent amber eyes blinked slowly. Since she'd arrived at Dancing Stars, she'd realise that a few of the things she said, other wolves found odd. She'd been trying to keep them to herself a bit more, but it was hard.

Deppene returned Haine's grin, but it wasn't flirty, or coy, or mischevious. She let the cold glint in her eyes shine through, as if saying, 'try anything, and you're dead.' She felt as if he knew she was just doing this to get on Comatose's nerves; for some reason she got the impression that he wouldn't like it. When he snarled at them both, she realised she'd got to him, but she didn't feel at all triumphant about it. They'd once been friends and now she'd sunk to bitterly trying to wind him up.
"You don't own me, Comatose," she said resentfully. Why, do you wish he did? "Next time, I won't bother coming to see you. I'll just go talk to Haine, here." What are you talking about?! It was as if her mouth was uncontrollable; she couldn't stop it from saying things that she knew she'd regret as soon as they were left to hang in the air. Staring angrily at the ground, she started to pace quickly, awkwardly, away.

Deppene was about to open her maw to yell furiously at Haine once more, when she heard Comatose mutter. You can go now, he had said. Who did he think he was, to dismiss Deppene? Underneath her dark fur, her cheeks turned a bright red colour. She would have though Comatose, of all wolves, would have known not to patronise her. Suddenly she wanted to get him back for that. How dare he!
She gave the big, whtie wolf a fierce glare before walking away, past Haine. As she did so, she let her tail drift along the length of his body, smiling to herself smugly. He won't like that, she thought about Comatose. "Bye, gorgeous." She said coyly before darting away. Ugh. Haine really was a slimy git. She hoped that he realised she thought that.

"Then what are you, my mother?" Deppene retorted venemously, "Because you look like a worn out old fae."
She had managed to calm herself down a little, and took a little time to think straight. The arrogant male standing in front of her was so full-of-himself, she found it hard to believe he hadn't yet been kicked out of Dancing Stars. She could see that some faes might find him attractive, but his patronising words and irritating manner made her want to club him roughly with one of her delicate paws.
"I don't even know what i'm doing here," she muttered, furious with herself for even getting involved.
ooc; Sorry, it's a bit short.

Deppene felt the blood rise in her cheeks, and she stared furiously at the snow beneath her feet. It was tinted with spatters of sinister blood, making it turn a revolting red-brown colour. As Haine referred to her as 'darling' she glanced up, her eyes flashing green daggers at him. Just because she was small and slim, just because she looked after her appearance, males seemed to assume that it meant she forgot to watch her back. She let out a quick snarl at Haine to show she meant business.
"Don't call me 'darling'", she snapped at him fiestily, stepping away from him with a disgusted expression on her face. Normally she'd try and think up something much smarter to say, but the emotions in her head were too roiled for her to think straight. Or nastily. She glanced at Comatose with pained eyes.
"Are you okay?" She muttered.
