Hood snorted. "I know what I'm doin'! Just let me… Jus' be patient." he finished angrily, but felt quite afraid inside. Hood was usually confident around females, seeing as he had good luck with them in his old pack, but these two females behind him seemed very critical and impatient. He looked to his right and noticed some rocks jutting out, perfect for getting to lower ground for some prey. Gesturing with his maw to them, he made his way quickly to the edge. Glancing at Marilyn and Malo again, he smirked slightly and looked back at the rocks.
Quickly, he jumped onto the first one and stood still to see if it was steady. When it didn't shift, he jumped down to the next one, not caring if Marilyn or Malo were following or not. He looked at the next rock, it was quite far off and there was a small gap between. Either this was going to be a very good joke, or a horrible death. Hood couldn't see the end. He jumped, but pretended to fall and let out a short yelp. "Malirlyn!" He had no idea who to call for. He was going to say Malo's name, but then that could raise some questions, so it came out rather odd when he suddenly decided to call for Marilyn. Closing his eyes tight, Hood fell and landed with a thump. It must have been a few metres he fell, because it was rather sore on his ribs when he landed. Closing his eyes quickly, Hood pretended to be knocked out.
- -
Marilyn laughed softly at Malo and Hood, but when he reared off towards a ledge, she just followed quietly. "It's almost like you know what you're doing, Hood." she said to him, but he seemed to ignore it and jump onto the first rock. She watched carefully, narrowing her eyes at his back and he jumped to the next one. Marilyn jumped onto the rock and looked round at Malo, about to ask something when he heard Hood cry 'Malirlyn'. Her ears twitched and she snapped her head back round, just as she heard the thump.
"Hood?" she called, looking down the gap. She could see the grey and white on his back and she gulped. Marilyn jumped over the gap, not even thinking that it could be a trick, and stopped at the last rock reaching the level he was on. She peeked into the gap, snorting. Marilyn looked up at the gap to see if Malo was standing at the edge, and she called so she could hear. "He's out for the count, by the looks of it."

Malo gave a smirk and a malicious laugh as she followed the two wolves, stopping at the cliff edge to observe Hood's skills. He looked like he knew what he was doing, and she was rather impressed with the male. Her deep blues followed him carefully, and seeing Marilyn begin to move, she made her way down the ledge as well, being careful not to slip on the rocks and slide to her doom.
Suddenly, she looked up at Hood, her eyes seeming not to want to move off him. He was quite handsome and very interesting, even if he was the blunt of all of Marilyn's jokes; though Malo found them funny in theri crude, sarcastic manner. She stared after him vacantly until she saw him slip out of sight, and heard the strange 'Malirlyn' coming from below. Then she heard the thud, and she instantly moved towards where Marilyn had just been, looking over the edge to see her examining Hood.
Her heart beat faster, seeing her new aquaintance laying on the hard ground, eyes closed. Hearing Marilyn's words, she made her way down as quickly as possible, and a lot more carefully than her predecessors. When she reached them, she looked at Marilyn with a cautious look in her eye, not letting the concern she had shine through, and then she did her own examination. The grey and white body appeared to be breathing, but she nudged him anyway, sniffing him. She couldn't see or smell blood. Looking back at Marilyn, she shook her head. Does he always do boneheaded stunts like this? She motioned at Hood, who, like Marilyn said, looked out for the count.

They didn't sound too scared. Perhaps it was because Marilyn spoke too calmly about the whole ordeal. When Malo asked if he did bonehead stunts like this, he felt like giving a smart retort back but quickly remembered where he was, and stayed still, eyes still closed. Hood thought for a moment, and he felt his spine tingle when Malo nudged him. Was it Malo? Or was it Marilyn? No, Malo's voice was closer, so it must have been her.
Marilyn made her way over, hesitating at Malo's question. "Not really. But he's not too gracious either." she replied, nudging him harder on the shoulder. She snorted angrily, wondering if they'd have to stay here for a while, which is not what Marilyn intended on doing. She wanted food, and she could tell that Malo was the same. Or would this female want to stay with Hood? She frowned at the thought, but it was possible. "Come on, we're better off without him. Serves him right for being a smart-ass." she said, about to back up.
Hood brought his head up quickly, eyes snapping open and meeting with Malo's blue orbs, almost too transfixed to let out a surprise growl, but he managed. It was quite loud too. Marilyn jumped in surprise, backing up quickly and bared her teeth at him.
"That wasn't fuckin' funny!" "Aw, were you both worried 'bout me? I'm flattered." "Don't be a fuckin' idiot…" Marilyn huffed, not wanting to admit the fact she was.

Malo let a look of concern cross her face as she looked at her dear "Hoodie", but the look disappeared as quickly as it had come when her ears pricked to Marilyn's voice. Her stomach growled once again, and though she almost hesitated to leave the male, she stepped towards Marilyn, the need for food growing ever stronger within her.
He'll be fine if we leave him here alone? If he dies and the vultures pick him off, then what do we do? Her stomach growled even louder when the words escaped her mouth, and she looked down at it in embarrassment. She was no cannibal. She looked at Marilyn again, then gave a final look to Hood and took a step back from his body.
Hearing the other fae's remark, the body moved. Malo jumped straight in the air as Hood whipped his head up, and when she landed, their eyes locked. Hers said What the fuck?!I thought you were dead!! The growl had surprised her as well, and when she recovered, she let her own growl be emitted. But hers wasn't a joke; she damn sure wanted to strangle him right now. The look of worry she had was gone, and she snapped her jaws close to his face.
Just what the hell is wrong with you?! I thought you were unconscious, or at least on your way to those damn pearly gates in the sky! She was flustered, but still relieved he was alright. Still, she wouldn't let that show, it wasn't her. No, we weren't worried. Too bad those vultures hadn't come quick enough, damn you, she huffed, turning away from him, anger and relief flooding through her, the two emotions clashing.

Hood just grinned cheekily at Malo, only taking in half of what she was saying. His plan had worked, he tricked them both and gave them a fright by jumping up. Before answering her question, Hood stood up slowly and shook the dust from his fur, licked his lips and his tail began to wag. "Aw come on. I'm 'ere now, eh?" Hood looked her in the eye before licking her on the nose cheekily before slowly going past her, brushing his tail with hers and stopped beside Marilyn, he batted him over the ear.
Hood just chuckled, shaking his head at Marilyn and looked back at Malo, wondering what her reaction to him licking her on the nose would be.
- -
Marilyn chuckled softly at what he did to Malo, but when he come over to her her smile became a frown and she batted his ear hard, but not hard enough to leave a scratch. Marilyn was tempted to, but she decided it wasn't the best idea. She looked round at Malo again, blinked and turned to walk away. "We're not gonna catch any fuckin' prey like this..." she stated, still angry that her heart was racing.
Hood did scare her, she was afraid he was more that unconscious, but Marilyn would never admit it. Or was it obvious?

Her body quivered as she filled with rage-how DARE he! Seeing him stand up, she glared, her blue eyes cold, hiding her relief, but not the anger that was making her blood boil. She snorted as he spoke, and when she felt him lick her nose, her body tensed, and she got even more mad. She snapped at him, sharp teeth deadly close to his nose.
I wish you had died now. She turned, ears flat. You could almost see the smoke as she moved towards Marilyn, following her stiffly. She didn't have time for this. Yes, you're right. Let's go Marilyn. She wondred what Marilyn was thinking, because she felt like she could snap his neck. She had only ever experienced this feeling of rage once in her lifetime, and that was when she had been banned from her home, only to return and find her pack dead.
She stalked angrily behind Marilyn, her heart pounding from the adrenaline rush she'd just had.

Hood snorted, tilting his head at Malo as he watched her and Marilyn stalk off. He wondered why females were so uptight about jokes, but Hood brushed it away and quickly caught up with them, glancing at Malo. He thought it over, she seemed rather worried and very angry when he gave her a fright. This only made him selfishly come to one conclusion, that there was something between them. Of course, Hood was only thinking that because he either wanted it to be true, or his ego was growing.
He quickened his pace so he was walking along side Malo and he smirked, glancing at her at the corner of his eye. He didn't say anything, but was thinking of something to say. Staying silent wasn't Hood's specialty.
- -
Marilyn glanced at Hood over her shoulder, seeing him catch up. Looking back ahead, Marilyn glared. How dare he! What a bloody dirty trick! She sighed heavily, hoping her anger would die away soon. She quickened her pace, smelling the air for any prey. Her ears flicked back and forward, hearing Malo's and Hood's paw-steps behind her. It made a sort of tune, which soothed Marilyn slightly and she smelled the air again hopefully, and she stopped suddenly, the smell of caribou thankful.
"Hey, hey, lovebirds." she said, making Hood scowl, "I smell some idiotic caribou… And I think it's gonna be our lunch. 'Less you're gonna go and fuckin' die on us again, 'Hoodie'." Marilyn smirked and Hood sighed, but smirked.
"Up for i', Malo?" Hood asked.

Malo glanced at Hood and snorted, facing ahead and holding her nose in the air. She looked quite like the snooty heiress she should be acting like, but she had left those days behind a long time ago. With her nose so high in the air, she too caught the scent that Marilyn had, and her darkened mood turned brighter. A grin crossed her maw, but it disappeared with Marilyn's comment. Oh, there's no love 'ere. He's not on my level, she smirked, looking at him with a raised eyebrow.
She licked her lips and caught up to Marilyn, flanking her right side. Lead the way, Marilyn. I think we could do it without Mr. Living-Dead over there. Her trot become quicker, the scent of lunch growing stronger. Oh, how her mouth watered! She was practically drooling. She turned her head around, looking at the two of them. So what's your plan? Normal strategy? I personally like to cut them off, and go for the neck or mouth. She seemed to have a strange obsession with strangling things lately, and Hood had only made it worse. She needed to blow off some steam, and this hunt was the perfect way to do it.

Marilyn chuckled as Hood snorted defiantly. "I 'appen to think I'm quite 'andsome. " "Go find a clear river to look in." Marilyn looked at Malo as she asked about strategy, and she thought for a moment before nodding. "Me and Hood can chase it from behind, and you can run in and block its path. That way you could get a clear shot at the neck."
Hood opened his mouth to question Malo and why she wanted to get the neck, seeing as she had also looked at him with a murderous look in her eye, but decided not to and nodded in agreement to Marilyn's idea. Marilyn rolled her eyes at Hood and scanned the area, spotting the caribou to their left and gestured to the animal. It was currently facing the way they were facing, trying to find the new Spring grass.
"Ready?"
(Sorry it's crappy, I have no muse for these two at the moment...)

Malo chuckled with Marilyn. Calm down, darlin'. No one said you were ugly, jus' that there's no love 'round here. Her ears perked as she heard Marilyn speak. So she'd cut them off. Okay by her, now she just had to make sure she didn't spook the caribou when she snuck in the trees to the side. She nodded at Marilyn in response, gave a stern look to Hood, and flicked him in the nose with her tail before heading towards the covering of the trees.
She crouched low, keeping her light fur unseen in the shadows. She could see the caribou upclose now, and she looked for those old, young, or diseased. Seeing a few, she looked to her companions and waited for the signal as she got in position. Her blue pools flitted between Hood and Marilyn, and the caribou. As she watched, one calf strayed dangerously close to Marilyn and Hood's hiding spot, away from the herd. She smirked, practically hearing the dinner bell ringing in her ears.
Looking around, she waited patiently, her strong legs tensed and locked, ready to jump and attack when the moment was right.

Hood snorted, wriggling his nose after she flicked him in the nose and he quickly hid in the shadows after she left. Marilyn rolled her eyes at them and quickly followed after Hood, tail swaying from side to side slowly. The two watched the caribou hungrily, Hood pawing at the ground and Marilyn knew he was desperate to just run out there and chomp at their ankles and take any random one down. But she also knew that he knew he would get scolded by Malo and Marilyn afterwards. Marilyn watched the same caribou Malo had her eyes on, the one that strayed, and Marilyn looked at Malo for a moment.
Even with that much distance between them, Marilyn could see those clear blue eyes of hers. It surprised her, but it didn't surprise her when she seen Hood staring at Malo. Rolling her eyes again, Marilyn gestured with her head to the caribou to gain Hood and Malo's attention, hopefully, and Hood nodded.
- -
Hood quickly hid, but didn't take his eyes off of Malo. Something about her intrigued him. Not only was he uncharacteristic around her, like he was with Marilyn when they met, but he also wanted a connection between them. Hood blinked and looked down at his paws, trying to remind himself about their current 'mission' and the male looked up at the herd, yet he looked at Malo again. When Marilyn caught his attention, he looked at her and nodded before watching Marilyn creep slowly out at the caribou.
It spotted her immediately and reared on its hind-legs before galloping, unbeknowingly, in Malo's direction. Hood snarled and chased after her, running near the caribou's hind left hooves, snapping at its leg, making it bleed.

She waited patiently in the shadows, seeing Marilyn and Hood move into position. She got Marilyn's single and crouched, body poised for the kill. Then, Marilyn sprang, and the caribou she'd had her eyes on jolted, heading for her. Malo gave a low growl, waiting for it to get cose enough. Then she saw Hood in hot pursuitk, and crinkled her nose, though secretly cheering him on.
Then, she came back to real life and saw the caribou thundering her way. In a flash of orange fur and a small blue streak, Malo was moving, her legs carrying her farther ahead of their prey. When she'd reached a good distance, she curved out, leaping in front of the overgrown deer and pouncing on its neck, claws out, teeth bared. She latched onto its neck, sinking her teeth deeper and deeper into it, hitting a blood vessel and letting the warm liquid fill her mouth and eventually leak out onto the ground. The caribou let out a bellow of pain, and reared up, trying to knock the fae off of it, hoping to trample her and escape its own death.
Knowing her back legs swung helplessly under her, Malo hung on tight, clawing with her back legs on the caribou's chest. She finally got her grip, and bit down harder, while her front legs and paws were wrappe daround the beast's neck. She snarled and growled and bit, the caribou fighting her every step of the way. She tried muttering to Hood, but what was supposed to be 'Attack the back' came out as 'Muffat de mat'. With her mouth filled, and instincts telling her not to let go, she could only hope he or Marilyn would trip it up at least.

Hood watched Malo go, but quickly snapped at the caribou again. When Malo bit into its neck, Hood was sure this was going to be their meal. He snapped at its back ankles, waiting for the right moment as it flailed about to get Malo off. When he heard a muffled 'Muffat de mat', he was a bit confused at first but then figured it out. Baring his teeth, Hood lunged at the caribou's back, digging his claws into the skin and drawing blood before digging his teeth into its shoulder. Bellowing again, the caribou had no hopes but didn't seem to give up.
He snarled angrily, clawing at its back with his hind claws as he kept a firm hold with his front. He looked at Marilyn at the corner of his eye, then Malo.
- -
Marilyn growled, skidding to a halt and snapping at its legs. Malo was taking care of the neck, and Hood had lunged for the back. Perfect. She bared her teeth and turned round, snapping wildly at the caribou's front legs, biting down hard on its ankles. It bellow in pain and surprise. She grinned as he stumbled forward, blood flying from its wounds. The caribou fell forward, hind legs falling over its face and Hood jumped off just in time. He hoped Malo would get off as well.
Marilyn watched it happen, blood poured from the caribou's wounds on the neck. It was a fun hunt, and the caribou didn't seem to be young enough to not be big enough to feed the three of them, but not big enough to be counted as an adult. She grinned at Hood who grinned back, shaking his fur from any dirt or fresh blood and he looked at Malo, still grinning.

Seeing Hood leap onto the prey's back, she smiled through the blood in her mouth and the caribou's neck that was blocking most of him out of her line of vision. Then, sensing another force below her, she looked at the kicking legs of the caribou, seeing Marilyn clamping down on one of its legs. Her ears flattened as the beast let out a terrible yell of pain, and her eyes grew in horror as it stumbled forward. She released her grip and leapt out of the way, her head ducking and she barely missed being hit by one of the caribou's flying legs.
The minute the prey hit the ground, she grinned at Marilyn and Hood, mouth still dripping with blood. She made her way over quickly over to the caribou, and it moaned in pain and terror as it saw her moving towards it. She snarled and despite the beast's struggle, she clamped down on its neck, slowly suffocating the beast. Every time it breathed, she bit harder and harder. Finally, alll movement stopped, and she looked up at her companions with a satisfied smile. Com'on, a meal like this ain' gon stay warm forever! She looked from Hood to Marilyn, her eyes lingering on the male, then she dug into the caribou's stomach, happy to finally feel something in her long empty stomach.

Hood grinned back at Malo, watching her as she suffocated the meal. It was a fun chase, and now they would get a meal to celebrate. Hood licked the blood from his maw before loping over to Malo and the carcass, still grinning. He stopped by the back of the neck, not taking his eyes off of Malo for a moment before looking down at their meal, biting down into its back hungrily, ripping the meat away and chewing it hungrily.
He and Marilyn had just met Malo, an it seemed Marilyn and Malo were going to be quite good friends. Hood also hit it off with her, or so he'd like to think, but now he had a small feeling inside of him. Hood ignored this feeling, and stopped eating for a moment as he licked his maw free of blood again. "I say tha' was a successful hunt. We should try again some time, eh?"
- -
Marilyn returned a small smile, shaking her fur before following suit. She bit into the caribou lazily, glancing at Hood and smirked when she noticed he was still looking at Malo. Rolling her eyes, she nodded in agreement when he said it was a successful hunt. "Good thing we met you." she said to Malo. "Yeah, you'd still be moping." "And we'd be starving 'cause you'd still be complaining!" They grinned at each other before looking at Malo.
