Tafari decided to speak up, having kept silent this entire time. he didn't mind the fact he didn't talk much, but often he felt as if they thought he was even more stupid due to his lack of conversation.
"Erm," he cleared his throat, looking to Tomoko. "We're nearer to the resident 'bad' pack. The... Falling Moons, I think they are. I don't know, I just heard someone talking about vicious wolves and Falling Moon." He shrugged, as if apologetic if he was wrong.
He looked at Demi for a moment, sensing the same feeling that she had. Where would I come in? What plan do I think of? he wondered. Maybe he'd have to act like a big bad wolf? I don't mind, I'll just see what Kinaki thinks I should do, he mentally decided, and turned to Kinaki instinctively. "So, if the alphas try to get rid of us, I'll be the tank?" he asked, although already really knowing the answer. He was the one that did most of the fighting, for he could take a vicious attack and still stay standing. Bearing an onslaught was one of his specialties.

"No." Barked Kinaki firmly. He wold not have his pack splitting up, breaking off into pairs because that would mean some alliances grew stronger, which always caused others to grow weaker. He wouldn't fall into that trap. It wasn't that he didn't trust his packmembers, but he knew wolves could change. Anyone could change. And that was how his broher ended up dead. Kinaki wasn't planning on going to same way.
"We go together. All of us. And they'll accept us, because if they don't, the other pack will. And nobody wants us against them." It was true. Kinaki knew that while his group were small, each one of them played a vital part of the team, that some other packs just simply didn't have. And even if other packs did have those as bright of Tomoko or as fast as Tafari, they certainly wouldn't be able to work as well together as Kinaki's pack could. They weren't a force to be reckoned with; and this leading brute knew it as well as everyone else soon would.
"I'll do the talking. Keanu will do the persuading. And if that fails, yes Tafari, you'll be the tank. Jut, Tomoko and Demi: for now, just follow my lead but stay aware. Your skills, as always, could come in useful at any moment."

Keanu growled, 'And maybe some of us should try not to show off, because unfortunatly, these falling moon's won't take nicely to wolves who think they're better than everyone else.' he informed her, matter-of-factly.
He glanced at Demi, then at Kinaki. He forced himself not to grit his teeth, 'What's the difference?' he asked. The problem with Kinaki was that being leader, he wanted to be in charge of everything, maybe he should let Keanu do the talking, seeing as he was more persuasive, but he wouldn't voice it. [/size]

Jut glared around. She rolled her crystal blue eyes at Kinaki, for she knew her plan was much more well-thought out. But then again, he was alpha, and she wasn't. She snorted roughly, but shrugged. She could do nothing about it, but if something went awry, she would most definately be there to say 'I told you so'.
"Whatever Kinaki," She sneered, glancing at him coldly. She broke her piercing gaze to look at her packmates. "When do we leave?"

Koko shrugged at Keanu. "I never said I was better," she said calmly, gazing lazily at him through half closed eyes. A slightly playful smile graced her face before she looked back at the other wolves. She nodded at Kinaki's decision to pretty much stick to her original plan and nodded once more as she received instruction.
She decided to be the relaxed and quiet wolf that just followed the others, at least for now, or until they were accepted into the Falling Moon pack. "We should head for the Falling Moons first. If they're the bad pack, that could mean that more mean wolves live there. And if a whole bunch of mean wolves live there, that increases the likelyhood that they aren't as close as some packs. That should make them easy to take down," she mused, looking thoughtfully up at the clouds.

Tafari stayed quiet once again, watching his little group of friends banter at each other. His light eyes bounced off their pelts and he had a vague smile on his face, but look again- it was gone, and he was once again expressionless.
"Do you think the Falling Moons are likely to accept us?" he asked Kinaki. He was curious as to why Kinaki wanted them all to stay together, but decided it was bets not to ask. Just smile and nod, and everything worked out eventually.

Demi narrowed her eyes angrily at Keanu. "The difference is, when you 'do the talking', you're actually saying something smart. When you're 'doing the persuading', you're saying nothing but rubbish to win the female's heart over. I doubt anything smart can come from your mouth, anyway." she added in a mumble, looking at the ground once she was finished. If Kinaki said they were going together, if he was supposed to do to talking and Keanu was going to do the persuading, then they should just go along with it.
Demi's ears perked towards Jut as she said 'whatever', and the female was tempted to say something to her but held her tongue. There was no need to continue, hopefully the others would understand. But what could Demi do? They weren't a real pack, they were just a group out to cause some havoc. Have some fun.
Demi looked back up at the others, frowning still. She stayed silent and, at Tafari's question, she looked at Kinaki for an answer. Of course they would, who wouldn't want to accept them? The thought made her chuckle mentally. If they were rivaling packs, then these Falling Moons would want all the wolves they could get, right?

"If anyone has a problem with the decision, they're welcome to stand up and leave," came a dangerously silky voice, cutting through the bickering like a spitfire shard of glass.
He paused for a moment, waiting for all the wolves to fall silent, and then a feral smile spread across his face, revealing glistening canines in a wolfish grin. After looking around at each and every one of them individually, as if daring anyone to challenge him again, he finally blinked.
Kinaki stretched slowly, before standing up and nodding to Tafari. "They will," he said confidently. Of course, he didn't actually know that, but he had to have faith in himself - otherwise, who would?
We'll go tomorrow. When you hear my howl at sunrise tomorrow, meet me at the borders. Until then, go off and do whatever you like - just don't anger anyone yet."

Jut sneered. Maybe I should leave, she thought angrily, but realized how utterly lost she would be without her kin. While such unpleasant musings danced dangerously through her consiousness, she heard Kinaki speak again. They will. She smirked sarcastically and strode by him, crystalline blue eyes glued to his own piercing gaze as she sauntered past, an air of seduction in her orbs that only slightly transcended subtlety.
"Oh, so sure of yourself, Kinaki?" She chuckled coldly, unforgiving icy gaze boring into him. She smirked again, thoroughly amused by him, before sauntering off completely.

Tomoko nodded slowly and looked over at Jut and Kinaki, rolling her pale green eyes slightly. Doing her own thing, that shouldn't be to hard. She pushed herself up to a sitting position and looked at the alpha. "So was that it? Are we dismissed or is there more?" she asked calmly. She looked around the little group and sneezed as a fly landed on her nose.
((My muse died. > <))

ooc| -heartattack- I thought you said your mum died o-o.
Forget eeeet, I'll post.
Bic| Demi snorted, holding back from attacking Jut verbally, and stood up to go, but hesitated. She didn't want to go herself, she wanted to go with someone. It wasn't because she was scared of meeting someone big and bad, it was just her nerves getting worked up. What if one of them got attacked and couldn't call for help? They'd be alone... No one there.
Demi's heart raced and she nodded to her friends, trying to calm down, and smiled, hiding her fear. "Can't wait to cause some mischief." she said quietly before running off in a blur past Tafari, down the mountain.
This was going to be very, very interesting.
