Lately, Seta had been detached from the world. So much had been going on with the training and now he getting ready to be a father. It was like he stayed away from the world, and then when he finally realized it was around him, he didn't have a clue as to what was going on, especially with his family. He hadn't talked to any of siblings in a while, Iris especially. She seemed to keep to herself. Well, at least away from him. He sighed, feeling the urge to call but thought that'd be awkward. But he didn't care.
He threw back his head and released a howl into the Falling Moon lands, listening as it bounced of obstacles and echoed through out the forest and he hoped it would reach his sister's ears. It was time to get closer to his family, and he'd promised himself he'd try. Things with him and Duke were slowly becoming better, and he'd made amends with Rose. He had no problem with Tala. Onisim and Tessar were his competition so he kept his distance but was far from mean to them.

Iris walked daintily through the tall grass, letting it tickle her legs and sides. She was even more quiet after the incident with Caerwyn, and she had no idea how to tell her family. Seta's call was new to her, but she didn't want to ignore it, seeing as she knew it was hurtful if someone ignored you, and she could see her brother up ahead.
Her stomach lurched. Could she tell him about it? Should he be the first to know she was pregnant with Caerwyn pups? She stopped a few feet away from him, but she was facing him. Letting a small smile creep onto her lovely features, Iris nodded. She never really knew him much at all, and it made her feel guilty. "Hey, Seta." she greeted casually.

Seta smiled as his sister to came into view, but from a distance her expression was one of some kind of sadness, and then it brightened when she reached. He ignored it for the time being and just replaced the smile on his blackened lips, and nodded her head to her in greeting. "Hey, Iris," he said, returning the friendly greeting with one of his own. His sister was nice. Probably the nicest one out of all of them, and so he didn't really think she'd be mean when he was trying to be more brotherly to her. He was just glad that she'd come and hadn't just ignored the call like other Falling Moon wolves might do. "I know it's probably weird that I called you here, but I just want to get to know you more," he murmured a sheepish grin on his face. '
"I haven't been much of a brother to you," he added with a small shrug, looking up to meet her eyes. "So, how are you?" he asked, feeling slightly weird at the change in his personality. He usually wasn't so nice, but this was his sister. Surely, he could make an exception for her. Secretly, he wondered why she didn't just make the change over to Dancing Stars. He could see her fitting in perfectly over there. She was nice, and sweet just like the Dancing Star wolves, but he wouldn't press her on that. It was her life to live, not his.

Iris nodded, but she didn't find it strange at all. She would have taken it upon herself to call all of her siblings here if she wasn't so busy with her thoughts, but meeting Seta was a good start. Usually he was training to become alpha, and she hoped she didn't have to watch her brothers fight over that position. Perhaps, when they get older, they'll accept the fact Onisim will be Alpha. Onisim was bound to win with all that muscle, anyway.
Brought out of her daydream, she kept her smile and blinked thankfully at him. "I'm fine... What about yourself?" she replied, although Iris wasn't fine at all. Surely Seta wouldn't worry about her, probably even calling for her was troublesome, "Have... Have you found anyone special yet? It being Spring and all..." What if he had? What if everyone else had a hate and were planning on pups, and now Iris was having pups with the completely wrong wolf?
She moved the worrisome thoughts out of her mind, she was having a conversation with Seta, Iris had to keep it that way.

Seta could sense that something was bothering her, and his brows furrowed in confusion and a questioning look came to his eye. "I'm alright," he answered, the look still fixated upon his face. His expression softened ever so slightly as she asked the next question. "Well, I have Deppene," he said, and decided to leave it at that. He was still concerned about Iris, and to found out what was going on he had to ask. He couldn't expect her to tell him everything, but just maybe there was something she needed to get off her chest, and he was here and willing to do it. "What's wrong, Iris?" he asked, voice gentle and soft.
It was weird how they'd all been siblings but they'd never really been that close. You'd think as pups, they'd grow up together, have experiences together. But it was the complete opposite with Anevay and Duke's first litter. Again, he wondered if his parents would have pups. He sighed. It'd only be more competition. Shaking the thoughts from his mind, he turned his attention to Iris, expression one of kindness so that she wouldn't be afraid to open up to him.

Iris had met Deppene before, when she was with Dachian. Did Seta know about that? It didn't matter, as long as they were both happy, Iris would be happy for them. Her smile widened, but she couldn't hold it for long at his question. Could she tell him? Iris didn't want to keep it bottled up until it was too late, and he sounded so kind and considerate. Would he be able to understand?
"N-Nothing's wrong, why would you ask that?" it was plainly obvious, and Iris was breaking up on the inside, "A-are you and Deppene having... P-P..." she took in a deep breath, hoping to change the subject, but she couldn't get the word out. Iris shook her head sadly, looking at the ground.
"I can't keep it in, it's obvious something's wrong..." she muttered, "But... I don't know. Will you promise not to over-react?" Over-react? There was going to be no over-reacting. If he exploded, metaphorically speaking, then that wouldn't be enough. But she wanted to tell someone.

Seta lifted an eyebrow. Her stammering and expression gave it away. Obviously she hadn't inherited the trait of keeping all your emotions bottled inside. He knew Duke, and his mother often did that and obviously he'd inherited it as well. He was actually quite good at keeping his feelings inside. It was really something to be proud of or something to be ashamed of. Iris didn't have to finish her sentence, he already knew what she was planning on asking. "Yes, we are," he said dismissively, before his eyes narrowed and his curiousity grew. What was troubling her this much that she was afraid to tell her brother?
"I...I guess it depends on what it is," he said slowly, hoping that wouldn't make her feel like she couldn't tell him. But of course, he jumped to conclusions, assuming that someone had hurt her. If this was the case, he wasn't just going to let this slide by. He'd try and get revenge anyway it came. He began to pace something he always did when he was nervous, or angry or confused. He kept his head turned, eyes boring into hers and patiently awaiting an answer.

Iris sighed heavily. This was now irritating her. Looking Seta in the eye, she waited for a moment as if to build tension and, when he started pacing, Iris fell back into her little pity party. Would he run off, leaving her alone?
"I'm pregnant." she stated flatly, without much emotion. She was surprised at herself, but Iris knew she wouldn't be able to continue without faltering, which is what happened, "But... The f-father isn't a Falli-Falling Moon... Or a loner." Iris gulped, staring at the ground sadly. She didn't want to look at Seta or see his expression, perhaps the anger in his voice would give her a clear picture of how he looked. Would he try and tell Duke? Even though Iris was frightened, Iris wanted to tell Duke herself.

He came to a halt as she began to speak. He felt his muscles relax. He thought it would've been more. "That's okay. I could always see you as a Dancing Star, anyway," he said, a small smile forming on his lips. "Just...Tell Mom, she'll understand. I don't know what you're going to do about the living situations. I mean, I don't want you to leave, but it'd probably be best for the pups if you stayed where both parents could be with them," he said with a shrug still giving her a curious look. Maybe she wasn't telling him everything.
"Is that it?" he asked, tipping his head to the side and studying her. Duke and Anevay might be a bit mad that she'd mated with a Dancing Star wolf, but Seta had a feeling that they would've already assumed that Iris was just destined to be in Dancing Stars. She just had the whole personality going for her.

Iris looked up at him gratefully. She smiled softly at him. "I could never think of leaving Falling Moon, though..." she admitted. Iris never wanted to leave her pack, her family, but maybe switching packs was for the best? No, they would never let her join. "And... Well, there's also the father..." she added more hesitantly, "I don't think dad's going to be too happy... At all... It's... Caerwyn's."
She hoped Seta would still keep his cool. Iris wondered if the others would be understanding, Iris never thought that they could see her as a Dancing Star. It made her feel almost unwanted, but when he said 'I don't want you to leave', it gave her some reassurance.

Seta's eyes widened. "The Alpha's?" he questioned, mouth agape. How was that possible? Caerwyn had a mate, and why would he mate with Iris, daughter of Duke and Anevay? His brows furrowed. "How did that happen?" he asked, still getting a feeling that she wasn't telling him everything. And until she did, he'd keep pressing, because it was obvious from her expression that something was truly wrong with this, despite the fact that Caerwyn was the Alpha of their rival pack. He suddenly thought of Duke and how he'd react. Poor Iris. Duke wasn't going to take it nicely, and he knew that much. He began pacing again, getting a bit angry that she wouldn't just spit it out.
After a bit, he stopped his pacing and looked into her eyes with such intensity. He wasn't mad at Iris, he couldn't be. Not until he knew everything. And even then, he probably wouldn't be mad at her. He'd probably just be mad at Caerwyn for taking advantage of his sister like that. He forced himself to sit, his tail curling up around him, as he glanced from the ground to her.

Iris sighed. "I was out in the mist, he came along. He was all different, and... I guess he just tricked me." she explained quickly, but sighed again. She wanted to smile at him, to thank him for being like this, but she couldn't muster it up and thought for a moment, wondering if there was anything else to say. "I suppose... I suppose it was my fault for being stupid." she said finally, pawing at the ground.
She looked down at her paws, blinking. Was there anything else to tell him? Would he help her through it? She thought of her pups, Iris was already positive she was going to keep them. Iris couldn't think of killing them after they were born, or let someone else do it, and Iris could never imagine letting a Dancing Star look after them. But what if they all left for Dancing Stars? What if it was just a waste? No, never.

Seta was truly confused and he moved slightly closer to his sister, forcing himself to calm down. "Iris, please tell me exactly what happened from the beginning," he murmured softly in his most gentle voice so she'd feel confident enough to open up to him and tell him everything. She was only giving him minor details, thing she knew wouldn't get Seta or Duke overreacting. But to understand the situation and how Iris was feeling she needed to elaborate more. He could tell his sister would be afraid to tell Duke so he decided that he'd go with her, just incase Duke lost control.
In a small tender moment, he leant towards her, and nuzzled her cheek with the tip of his muzzle, before pulling back. "It's okay. You can trust me," he said, voice hoarse, almost a whisper. He sat back on his haunches, staring with soft eyes into hers, patiently awaiting the final details.

Iris nodded softly, glad she could trust him. She could believe him, they were siblings after all. "I was wandering in the mists because I was bored, and then he came..." she began. It wasn't hard for her to remember, the fluttering of her heart, those green eyes. The eyes, that's what got her. "He was acting different to me, coming onto me... He tricked me into trusting him. He said things like 'I missed you' and 'You're so beautiful'... I don't know if he meant it or not, but he also looked different. More menacing." Iris hesitated, but she wanted to tell Seta everything, even if it was useless.
"His eyes were green. Not their usual golden colour." Iris had now told Seta everything, and she sighed heavily, looking him in the eye, "What do you think I should do, Seta?"

Seta listened carefully, instinctively inclining his head towards her so he could catch every syllable of every word she spoke. And as the story progressed, he could feel his blood beginning to boil within him, but he kept his expression calm on the surface. The anger he was feeling could only be noticed if you looked close enough into his eyes. He let out a sigh before speaking, ignoring her question for he had one of his own to ask her. "What did he say or do after you...Mated," he asked, voice surprisingly even despite the rage he was filling at that current moment and how personal the question was in itself. He felt the urge to get up and pace but remained seated.
This was just the thing to put the two rival packs back into war. Duke would be furious that the Alpha of Dancing Stars had mated with his daughter. A battle would almost surely breakout between the two Alphas, and Seta, having never seen his father fight before was actually interested in being there when it happened. He dropped the thought and tried to see in the views of Caerwyn. What was he thinking? He was a Dancing Star wolf...He couldn't have been so cruel to Iris. Seta found himself confused. That was something no one would ever expect from a Dancing Stat wolf.
