Iris blinked and stared. She looked into Seta's eyes, but not for long enough and she hesitated at his question. Slowly, she looked at the ground and quickly up at him again, not wanting him to get any more impatient. "He said 'You stupid girl'." she said, putting emphasis on the word 'stupid', just like Caerwyn did. This didn't sound like Caerwyn at all. Iris knew it was all true, but would Seta believe her?
Of course he will, he's my brother! I can trust him, he can trust me... Right? Iris gulped slightly, looking him in the eye again and stared. She became hopeful, but when she noticed the hatred gathering in his eyes, she became hopeful again. But looking at him made her think of Anevay, and then Duke. Oh god.

Seta ground his teeth together, the rage more prominent in his eyes now. Knowing this would scare her, he turned his face to the ground and released a sigh. It wasn't her fault. Seta had noticed how most of the family seemed to ignore her. Obviously, she'd just felt alone, and she didn't know any better. She craved love and at that time Caerwyn seemed to be the only one who offered it. He found himself feeling guilty for not being there for his sister before this. It wouldn't have happened if he'd just been there. "It's not your fault. Mom and Dad won't be mad at you," he said, managing to keep his voice soft despite how he was feeling inside. It made him feel a bit like Duke who always managed to keep his anger inside. He swallowed and when he felt confident enough, lifted his head.
"When do you wanna tell them?" he asked, referring to Duke and Anevay. It was something they needed to know but if she decided not to tell them, Seta would handle it on his own. He'd kill Caerwyn for what he did to his sister. But it wouldn't just be an average kill. He could feel a plan bubbling inside of him, but he decided he would keep it to himself, only if she refused to tell their parents. Even then, he might take it upon himself to destroy the Dancing Star Alpha.

Anger. Was he angry at her? At Caerwyn? At no one? She shook her head when she heard him, and smiled softly in amusement. "I'll be lucky if mum understands... But I don't know about dad. To be honest, Seta..." Iris stopped mid-sentence, pawing at the ground for a moment and frowned at herself. 'Such a coward, spit it out already!' is what Duke might say if she ever was like this around her father, "I'm scared."
She looked at Seta again, and it showed in her eyes. Iris was frightenedd for the unborn pups, for herself, and partially for Caerwyn. She couldn't hate the father of her pups, even if she tried. It just wasn't Iris-ish. (Haha, Iris-ish...)

Seta sighed. His father was unpredictable, and he just didn't know Duke well enough to be able to even begin to try to predict how he'd react. "Don't worry," he said. "I'll come with you when you tell them. It'll be alright," he told her voice flat holding no emotion. If he were Iris he'd be scared too. But how could Duke blame something like this on his sister? It wouldn't make sense. Iris didn't know any better when she did it. He doubted it would be really bad. Though one thing that concerned him was what happened to the pups. Would Duke allow Iris to keep them? Would she have to move into No Man's Land, and then return when their old enough?
Seta figured Iris had already thought about that, and he didn't want to worry her anymore than she was worrying so he decided not to bring it up. When they told their parents, they'd figure it out.
