Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend Dachian padded through the forest, thinking about Iris. He just couldn't stop thinking about her...He didn't even know why he was thinking about her lots...He knew he shouldn't of left, he should of stayed with the pack, stayed with Iris...He let out a soft sigh, his paws squelching in slushy mud. He was dreading spring, he knew Iris would probably find a mate...And he'd truely be on his own. Somewhere along in the bitterness He stopped and looked around, where was he? He had lost track of time...And ended up near the dancing stars border in the shadowy forest. He ground his teeth out of boredom, then turned back to walk home. If he had a home. And I would have stayed up with you all night But he didn't anymore...He slept in tree's, and here seemed as good as any place to stay. He looked around, trying to fund a sturdy tree. He found an old oak tree, and was in the branches with one swift jump. He lay down, and looked down on the forest, wondering who, if anyone, would come. Had I known how to save a life He lay down his head, and waited to drift off to sleep.

She thought of him. She thought of him all the time, he invaded all her thoughts at day, he invaded her dreams at night. She was lying down by a large oak tree in the Forest, hiding her eyes with her paws sadly as she thought of no=one other than Dachian. She didn't know that, right above her, was Dachian himself.
Her thoughts made her smile, and she slowly shook the leaves off of her fur. Spring was here, but she was saving herself for Dachian. She wanted to see him again so badly. Standing up, Iris blinked and looked up, grinning when she froze, eyes on Dachian. "You!"
The first word that came from her lips. She stared at Dachian in amazement, but soon love glistened in her eyes.

Dachian was just skipping off to sleep, when he heard a voice that had haunted his dreams ever since he'd left the pack. He jolted, his reflexes getting the better of him. He leapt up, and fell out of the tree. He landed with a thump on the ground.
'Oww...' he said slowly, rubbing his head with his paw. Then he remembered Iris. But he hesitated at the fact she sounded like she had said 'you' with brutality. He looked up at Iris his eyes lighting up when she didn't look angry.
'I know, I get that impression sometimes...' he said, but grinned to show he was only joking. His heart thundered against his chest, as he wondered what to say.
'I'm so happy you're here...' You idiot! I'm so happy you're here...STUPID!' he screamed at himself, but his gaze was steady, hoping his panic didn't show.

Her smile widened. She wasn't seeing things! Iris kneaded at the ground happily for a moment before circling Dachian, trying to get rid of the energy that was building up inside of her. "I-I'm so happy to see you!" she exclaimed, stopping in front of him again. Of course, she paused, looking at the ground shyly.
She had just circled Dachian twice, she must look so stupid! But Iris couldn't hold in the happiness. It had been weeks since she seen Dachian, and seeing him again just made her... Too happy for words. "It's been a while. How are you? What's been happening? Is it fun being a loner?"

Dachian grinned, happiness building up inside him. He watched her happily, waiting until she'd calmed down a little. She seemed hyper, or maybe it was something else, but he knew he had the same feeling. He laughed soflty as she circled him, and again when she'd finished asking her avalanche of questions.
He smile faltered, and he looked at the ground, 'I'm fine... Nothing's happened-' he looked up and gave her a cheeky smile, 'Nothings fun without you!' he said, licking her on the nose.

All though her eyes still glistened with happiness, she noticed his smile falter. Was he lying to her? Was he holding something back? Iris held her grin, seeing as she was quite good at hiding suspicions, and her skin went rosy red as he licked her on the nose. She laughed, loving his cheeky smile.
"You don't mean that.." she said softly, licking him on the nose in return, "Besides. Life is boring in the pack without you. No drama." Iris attempted to catch his eye, but she wasn't trying too hard. She trusted Dachian, but couldn't help but be curious.

Dachian sighed, 'No really, it's no fun here at all...There's no-one here to socialise with except this grumpy old loners.' he said, but laughed at himself, he could just imagine really old loners sitting in tree's, shaking a stick at him.
He watched her carefully, happiness and love dancing in his eyes, his cheeks turned slightly rosy when she licked him back, then opened his mouth to change the awkward silence. He wanted to gaze into her eyes forever, he wanted to be with her always, forever and ever.
He grinned at her last sentance, 'Yeah well, I can't help being so amazing that everyone is bored when I'm gone.' he said, but smiled to show he was joking once again.
'Nahhh...I bet everyone's partying now that I'm gone...'

Iris smiled, listening intently. When he finished off rather sadly, she her smile disappeared slowly and she gazed at him, tilting her head to the right gently. I miss him so much... Yes, of course you do, but he's not coming back. Why not? I want him to come back. That's what makes you the same as them. You think you should get what you want.
"I want you to come back..." she whispered under her breath, but blinked and smiled softly. "I know someone who didn't party... Someone who missed you." she said, hoping he'd understand that it was her.

Dachian tilted his head, 'Who?' he asked, but felt a little stupid because it sounded like it was obvious from her tone of voice. He blushed, not wanting to make a fool of himself infront of Iris. Who wasn't happy he was gone?
His eyes widened as he understood, and he nodded slowly, his cheeks turning bright red and a smile of embarressment curving his lips.
He padded a little closer to her, 'I see.' he said, grinning goofily.

(Hahaha, I don't know if you played along with it or thought that up yourself, but Futurama FTW xD)
Iris frowned slightly when she heard his question, but when she noticed him catching on, Iris smiled again and when he moved closer, she licked him on the nose again. She was red underneath her fur, but she was very happy to see him again. Iris couldn't describe the feeling she felt for him, and she certainly couldn't try to tell anyone else.
"Haven't you met anyone else at all?" she asked, ears twitching forward out of curiosity. She wondered if he had been alone all this time, or he did meet another wolf. Deep down, she felt a worried sensation twisting at her stomach in case it was a female. Not letting her worry show, Iris blinked and waited.

ooc// No idea what you're talking about xDD
bic// Dachian smiled warmly at her, a tingle running up his spine when he licked her. He yawned heavily, his eye lids drooping. He was still tired, even though Iris had shown up. His ears twisted when she spoke again and he laughed lightly, 'Just a few stuck up Dancing Stars.' he said, watching Iris with a smile and glittering eyes.
'What about you? Found your prince charming yet?' he asked her, secretly hoping she hadn't.

Iris felt her heart fill with relief. He didn't seem to act differently when she asked about anyone special, unless he found an interest in some Dancing Stars. If that was true, then Iris made herself think she wouldn't mind, but the truth was she would mind. She would hate that female. Or... Male. Iris smiled, giggling softly at the thought of Dachian liking another male, but looked at him again when he asked about prince charming.
"Oh, I'm in the wrong fairytale for my Prince Charming to come along." she replied softly. I'm more of the ugly Duckling story. She thought it over, not fully knowing that story. That the ugly duckling turned into a beautiful swan.
"No, I haven't." she said, frowning. She wanted a certain wolf to be her prince charming though. The one in front of her. She didn't know what made her think that, but part of her wanted him to be.
