Wheya lowered her muzzle to the ground, sniffing for prey. Her eyes scoured the ground for tracks or droppings, and her ears twitched for any sounds. She could smell badger, and rabbit, and the badger tracks were obvious. They led to a hole in a tree, and decided that it was too dangerous, she had had a bad experiance of badgers anyway.
As hard as she looked, she couldn't find any rabbit tracks, which confused her because it smelt quite near. She looked carefully at the ground, and what she noticed made her grin.
Tiny, wonky rabbit tracks.
That meant it was small, maybe a stupid one that went out to explore when it's mother was asleep. Too small to defend itself, anyway, unless it was a large rabbit with paws the size of a a medium sized spider.
She followed the tracks, and sniffed the air for guidance when she couldn't read the tracks properly. She noticed they weren't just wonky, it seemed like the rabbit was injured too. Great, this is my lucky day! she thought.
She came to the edge of the forest, where she saw the rabbit flittering about being a nuisance. It was falling over and looked drunk. She would of pitied it if her stomach didn't feel like it was eating itself.
She lowered her body to the ground, so her belly touched the ground, and she slowly moved forward for the kill. She knew that it was small, so it would be quick, but hopfully it's injured leg would slow it down if she made a mistake. She also knew that because it had no protection from shrubs neither would she, and it might easily smell, hear, sense or see her before she got a chance to catch it.
She decided to take her chances, and when she was close enough she leapt at it, it turned around but the pain in its leg caused it to trip over itself. She seized her chance and ended its life with a snap of her jaw. She smiled, and ate it quickly, then threw it to the side for scavengers to pick at.
Unfortunatly, it was small, and it didn't fill her up, but she felt a lot better.

Green eyes watched Wheya from behind. They were filled with curiosity as well as pride, Hood was having a good day. He was able to trick Myu into catching him a meal, sneak up on Marilyn while she was hunting again and give her a fright, confuse a grey Dancing Star he found on the way out of Falling Moon and now he found another wolf to trick.
A smirk played on the male's lips as he followed the loner as silently as possible, making sure to stay down-wind from her. She seemed to be tracking some rabbit tracks, and they looked pretty wonky when he took a glance at them. What exactly was she hunting? An almost dead rabbit? He snorted, remembered he was still hidden and quickly made his way to a new hiding spot, which was to her side.
Looking round again, Hood narrowed his eyes, watching Wheya eat. He recognized her from somewhere, perhaps they met before? Shaking his head, Hood stepped out of hiding once she threw the remains away, and he sniffed at them before looking at Wheya again. "What? Didn't hunt a bigger rabbit? Or was your mind so clogged up with the thoughts of Spring that you forgot to eat?" That's what Hood thought happened to most females. He wasn't positive he was right, he just imagined Spring and pups were what most females thought of.

Wheya's ears pricked, and she turned to see a black and grey wolf. 'Catching a small rabbit is better than stalking me.' she retorted, but she frowned when he said about the spring thing.
'I would prefer to toy with a guy then mate with them.' she said honestly, she smiled flirtily, 'Although I might make exceptions for handsome wolves.' she laughed lightly, then threw back her head and howled. It was a rich, sweet melody of just how happy she felt, she always felt happy, she always felt free

ooc| I don't mind ^^ Moony?
Bic| Hood smirked. She talked back to him, a good start. Even though it wasn't enough to impress him, Hood thought it over. Many females these days were more sassy, not that Hood didn't mind, it just irked him a little. There were no 'stereo-types' anymore. Not that that was a bad thing.
He came out of his little train of thoughts and looked at Wheya again, his smirk turning devilishly handsome. "I dare say, I think I could make an exception." he said, going towards her slowly, stepping over the remains of the unlucky rabbit, "Don't you think?"

ooc//I kinda' wanted this to be private...=/
Wheya laughed lightly, tilting her head to the side. Her eyes glistened happily as she listened to him speak, 'That all depends then, doesn't it. Are you handsome?' she asked him, straightening her head up.
She watched him carefully, a small smirk on her face. An ear twitched as he came towards her and she laughed lightly again, waiting to see what he would do now.

"You've got eyes, don't you?" he teased, circling her before stopping to face Wheya, moving his head to the side as if showing off his fur. It shone against the Spring sun(I take it it's day time) when he moved and Hood knew it, but only for a moment and it turned dark again, like himself. A good soul at first, that turns his head away, unable to accept life was just one big routine.
"Go on, you can be honest." he bared his teeth almost cheekily, "To an extent." he added dangerously, but he hid his teeth with another ironic, devilish smirk that seemed to be either habit or a trade mark.

Wheya laughed cheerfully, she tilted her head and thought of an answer to his question. 'Well-' she began, '-perhaps it would help if I knew what your name was.' she said, trying to dodge his question slightly.
'Otherwise, no, you're ugly and you smell of rotten fish.' she flashed a cheeky smile, showing him she was joking.
To an extent.

"Hood." Simple, but not so sweet. He sounded proud of his name, and he was. It was a rare name and he didn't know anyone with a name similar to it. "I'd like it if you remembered it..." Hood trailed off, staring at her. He recognised her vaguely, but he really couldn't be bothered trying to remember.
He pretended to look hurt, gazing at her. Hood hid a smirk and looked at the ground sadly, ears drooping. "That hurt... I haven't fished in a while... I-I don't smell like that, do I?" he asked pitifully. Hood was a very good actor.

Wheya laughed, 'No, not that bad, but you do know what water is, right?' she asked, pretending to sound worried. She heaved a sigh, looking around, extremely bored. She let out a snort of boredom, then lay down on her back, watching Hood expectantly.
'Hood...' she said, as if tasting his name, 'Nice name, I'm Wheya.' she said, a pup-like grin on her face. [/size]

Hood frowned, annoyed, and looked up at her, ears perking up. He ignored her question about water, knowing fine well that she knew he knew what water was, and he grinned when she said he had a nice name. "I like to think so too." he agreed and chuckled, but it died away when he heard her name.
Hood couldn't remember meeting her still, but he imagined she couldn't remember him either seeing as Wheya didn't mention it. "Wheya." he repeated, letting it roll of his tongue swiftly and he put emphasis on the letter 'y', trailing it for a moment before finishing, "Interestin' name yourself."
Hood sat down on his haunches, wrapping his tail neatly around his paws. "You a loner? You smell like i'. Met anyone special?"

Wheya lowered her muzzle to see him frown. She tilted her head, and offered him a smile, as if saying sorry if she offended him. Wheya laughed softly at his comment, 'You should be proud of it, it's very unique.' she added, and smiled as he seemed ot be testing her name.
'Thanks.' she said, knowing there wasn't really any need to elaborate on a simple 'thankyou'.
She swallowed when he asked his next question, 'Yeah, and no-one special...I haven't really met many wolves around here...' she heaved a sigh, 'Guess I just haven't found the right guy.' she said, smiling, 'What about you?' she asked.
She frowned as she looked at him harder, something seemed to click in her brain, 'Have we met before?' she asked slowly.
