How could anybody want to live out here? It was lonely, it was small, it was dangerous, and it wasn't nearly as beautiful as either of the other territories, especially the old Dancing Stars territory. Sukalina tried to picture herself hunting here, raising pups here, living here... Then again, how could anybody live with Falling Moon? Just thinking about it disguested her. Whoever lived happily with Falling Moon could rot as long as they continued to act like wicked beasts, in Sukalina's opinion.
She stopped in her tracks, her instincts telling her that she should head back into her own home. So, she turned around and began padding away, leaving behind her curious thoughts. It was dawn, the beginning of a new day. Sukalina had woken up an hour ago and had decided to take a walk to think about something in particular. Walking somewhere always helped her to concentrate.
She was thinking about her life, her dead mate, and her future. She wasn't necessarily sure that she would even be allowed to reproduce this year, but her instincts were telling her to find a mate. Find a mate and start over again. She wanted pups again. Shaddix would understand. Shade and Midnight would understand. Wouldn't they? Perhaps she should take a visit to the Catacomb sometime. She heard rumors about that place not too long ago.
She glanced up at the clouds hovering above her and felt the squishiness of the slush underneath her feet. Wintertime was coming to an end.

Hakurii padded across the the solitary mountains. Their name suited him just fine, he liked to be on his own, anyway. Which was why he raised his muzzle and sniffed the air, he was annoyed there was a female coming towards him, and not just any female, and dancing star.
He snorted, and trotted towards her. She looked pretty, but to guys like Hakurii that counted for nothing, plus she was a dancing star. He gave her a stony glare with his red eyes, like a warning sign.

Sukalina stopped in her tracks and lifted her head, surprised to see the male so suddenly. And the look she was giving her did not make her feel any better. This was a Falling Moon character, if the scent didn't tell her than the stuffy attitude did. She bared her teeth immediately and lifted her tail. "Get out of my way," she said quietly, but fiercely enough to tell the male that she would fight back. "I'm in no mood to deal with you right now." She lowered her head and side-stepped once.

Hakurii smirked, and side stepped also, blocking her way again. He loved winding people up, and this one looked like she could be wound up easily.
'Something the matter, hunny?' he drawled, still glaring at her. He watched her, waiting patiently for some sort of reaction.
'Deal with me? Why would you want to deaaaal with me?' he asked, frowning and pretending to be entirely innocent, but he still had a cold stony look resting on his brow, higlighting his warning orbs.

Sukalina rolled her eyes. Seriously, everyone in Falling Moon liked to act like they were just the funniest wolves in the world. But Sukalina disliked them more than she liked to admit to herself considering she wasn't one to hate easily. She stayed silent, refusing to answer him, and then side-stepped once more. She didn't want to fight today, but she might have to. It depended on this brute's mood. She eyed him closely with her sharp, brown eyes, wishing she hadn't gone out alone. She knew better, too. Perhaps she should amuse him instead of risking his anger. "I would want to deal with you because you refuse to get out of my way so I can walk home to my family."
