When Blade ran, he never felt like stopping. He hardly ever panted, he had realised, but as he reached the end of his millionth run across No Man's Land, he felt his bones aching.
The sensation was odd. For a wolf who felt mentally only over a year old, this creaking bones syndrome was scaring him. Sometimes at night he'd wake with throbbing paws, or more likely, a throbbing head. He kept having a horrible nightmare where Xaka was dying, and drifting down a river. The rest was hazy, though, and the thought made him shudder.
He padded gently along the lower lines of the mountains, dragging his paws against the rocks occasionally. There was very little slush currently, in fact, the mountains were once again drying up.
Seeing a little blossom escaping from between two cracks in a rock, Blade came to a stop, sitting down. Part of him wanted to smile, another part felt like frowning. His head hurt, again, but he wasn't feeling lonely. In his mind he couldn't remember being part of a loving pack, so lonliness was just a part of him.
He sighed and continued to watch the blossom do nothing.

Calla padded slowley through the mountains. Her paws barley came off the earth, she draged them so much she had scrapes on the top of them. Her head hung limpley as she walked. She hadn't eaten for days, and wasn't hungry. Her dreams had been haunted by nightmares. They were about Blade, falling off he cliff, and never remembering her again. She didn't know what she would do with herself without Blade.
Calla noticed Blade sitting up ahead. She almost ran to him and covered him in licks, but didn't. She decided to play along. "So I never found out who Kiki was." she said friendlily.

Watching the male run from afar, was Marilyn. She had kept her eye on him from time to time, making sure nothing bad happened to him. Even though she was a mindless Falling Moon, who were compared to heartless beasts at times, Marilyn couldn't help but worry about Blade. She pitied him, not remembering anything. Perhaps it was because he was adorable at the same time.
She watched him stop, and her gaze followed his to the lonely blossom. Almost like Blade. Was that irony or coincidence? Lost in thought, Marilyn slowly stood up and shook her pelt of any Winter Fur that was left before making her way towards Blade from behind, a friendly smile on her face.
That friendly smile soon fell when she noticed Calla. No matter, Marilyn decided she was going to ignore the female Beta. She stopped on the other side of Blade, giving him a small smile and Calla a quick glare. "Am I interrupting?" she asked innocently.

When Blade next looked up, there were two females sitting by him. Thankfully, he'd met them before. They smelt very different from each other, he guessed it was from the two packs. Again he began to wonder how he ended up here, as Calla mentioned Kiki.
"No, Marilyn," he smiled happily, tail wagging. He looked back at Calla, impressed that she'd remembered what he'd said. He wondered why she was interested for a moment, but he refrained from getting too lost in thought.
"Kiki? Well, she's this cougar, right? But she's really nice. And she was helping my leg get better. Except, my leg doesn't hurt anymore, but my head does. It's all very confusing." Blade frowned, glancing back at the blossom.
He looked up at the two and smiled brightly. "So, how are you two?"
