A tall, rather petite figure sighed as she let out a lonely howl. Not for any one in particular though. Cocoa looked around, wishing she could see her deceased mate just one more time. She had remembered that he had been killed by Jaeger. Jaeger She hated him for what he had done to her mate, and he would soon, but not now. Cocoa didn't feel like doing anything right now. Cocoa just kind of wished somebody would come, either a FM wolf, a loner, or even a DS wolf. Didn't really matter to her. She was too bored to even care at all.

Haine heard the howl but wasn't really heading towards it purposefully. He was just trotting through the mist, as he did almost daily, and wandering about looking for some company.
He'd never tell anyone, but he loved the life here. There was his pack, and he didn't even care that he was only an Omega. He never strived for great status in a pack, and Caerwyn had obviously realised that. He didn't have any challenging brother or perfect sisters to annoy him, no, here he felt so free.
He could wander into No Man's Land if he felt like a fight with a loner. There was always the impending essence of battle looming between the packs, as if it were a tightrope of tension just waiting to snap. They'd already had a scuffle at the river but Haine was staying well away until the big battle, which he knew would happen at some point.
His eyes suddenly sought out Cocoa. She's not bad looking, he thought to himself, as if impressed. He knew she was somehow related to Caerwyn, but he didn't much care. Maybe he could get a flirt or two out of her.
"Hello there, lovey," he grinned as he came into view, caramel and black pelt shimmering against the backdrop of pure white snow.

Cocoa looked up to see Haine. "What do you want?" She growled, looking back down, not caring much at all if she was being rude to the male.
She sighed, actually wanting a fight now, because she was so dreadfully bored, and she needed to get her mind off of Shaye, though she doubted that this wolf would really help, or let that happen for her. Cocoa also knew that they probably wouldn't have a fight because this wolf smelled of Dancing Stars. She let out a soft growl, wishing it was a loner, or a FM wolf. But it wasn't, now was it?

"Tskkk," Haine tskked at Cocoa's comment. He rolled his head to one side, and smiled charmingly. After all, charm was all he had really. "Someone's tetchy."
He walked further towards her and began to circle her closely, as if inspecting her, looking her up and down. Eventually he faced her again and sat down, looking defiantly deep into her brown eyes.
"So what's a pretty shewolf like you doing wandering the mist all alone?" He asked, genuinely curious. Being an idiot, he didn't ever expect females to be equal to males. In his mind, males were the leaders and females were the followers, because males were braver and stronger. So what was a female doing out all alone?

"What's it to you? You know nothing about me, and I'm not just a pretty she-wolf for your information. If you had actually known me since the day I had been born, then maybe you would understand. But since you are meeting me just now, I highly doubt it." Cocoa said.
She kind of soon figured that the brute thought that females and males weren't equal, since he evidentally didn't understand that she could stay out here, and fend for herself against things. Figures. Most males think that about females, which was kind of irritating sometimes. especially when a male thinks that a wolf is really pretty, and thinks that she can't fight at all.

Haine grinned, excited at the stimulating conversation. He may not seem like the smartest wolf, but under his arrogance, he is in fact quite clever, and loves an intellectual discussion.
Luckily for him, Caerwyn had given him a briefing about most of the pack members and he did know a little about her. "Ahh, don't be so quick to judge, my pretty shewolf!" Haine cried, falsely melodramatic. "I know about you. You were the last Alpha's... Sister," he said slowly, hoping he had his facts straight. He paused for a minute to think, and then continued. "When 'ol Xaka was still reigning, you fell in love with his enemy Shaye and you basically went against your pack. However, your mate was a shamble of a wolf and you ended up returning here. Am I right?" he grinned at her, proud of himself for remembering so much.
"Now, Cocoa. Tables are turning. How much do you actually know about me? Do you even know my name?" Haine asked, hoping she didn't.

"You know some of me. But not all. You don't know what happened to my mate, nor do you know about my childhood. And no, I don't know your name. Surprisingly enough, I didn't think Caerwyn would really tell you about me, considering I don't talk to him as much. But I guess it's not surprising, since I am technically his aunt. Do you know my other brothers' names, that are still currently alive?" Cocoa said calmly, letting out a sigh. Did this wolf actually think she was pretty, or was he trying to get some charm on her? Either way, it wasn't working so far.

Haine smiled gently at her, as if sad for her. So hostile, it's a shame, he thought. He watched her and her body language carefully, although she seemed less than happy that he was here, he didn't feel the need to leave quite so soon.
"Well, my name is Haine. And it's not my business to pry, lovey, so I would curse myself if I went about asking for your every detail, and wouldn't you be a little worried if I knew all about your childhood and your family?" He countered. Such a pretty face and yet so much unhappiness haunts her, Haine thought, a little disappointed.
He stood up. "Well, lovey, it's clear that you don't want me around despite letting out lonely howls in the middle of No Man's Land," Haine nodded to her, and turned, beginning to pad away. Part of him wanted her to call out and stop him, but he was unsure if she would.

"Wait, Haine. You can stay, just don't bug me too much!" Cocoa called after the wolf. He was actually pretty cute. Wait, was she..... developing a crush on this wolf? Yes, she was. But how? She loved Shaye too much, even if he was dead!
"No, I actually wouldn't be too worried. It's not like I really care about my past anymore. it's behind me now, even though sometimes I have flashbacks and dreams of it, wishing I could change it all back." Cocoa said calmly.

Haine stopped walking, and ran his tongue over his grinning teeth in triumph. He loved it when he read females well, it just added to his ever-growing confidence. He found that this unsarcastic approach was working well though, and so he put on a more gentle smile again and turned back.
"Well, lovely to know I don't bug you too much," he teased, laughing a little. "Ahhh, come on Coke's (nickname xD), lighten up a little. We all have our deep, dark and disturbing pasts giving us a nightmare every night." Haine shrugged, speaking from experience.

Cocoa smiled. This wolf was pretty nice. And she guessed that it was time to give Shaye up. She knew that he had had a nice life with her, and she was glad that she had helped him enjoy it. Besides, it was time she moved on for a new mate. She still did want pups.
"Coke's?" Cocoa thought. A nice nickname. Plus, this wolf had actually given her one, the one that she had a small crush on! Yippee! Anyways, Cocoa looked into Haine's eyes. "Yeah, I guess. And let me guess, did you have a deep past too? Not to be rude or anything. I'm just wondering, or else you wouldn't have brought it up unless you wanted to help me feel good, knowing thast I wasn't the only one." Cocoa said, sighing.
ooc: Aww, he already gave her a nickname! How sweet!

ooc- Hehe, he's a strategic little bugger xDD
bic- Haine settled into a laying position in front of Cocoa, looking around him at the winter world. There was something so alien and beautiful about snow covering everything. Reminded him of his first ever winter, ahh, what a time.
He turned back to face her again as she talked. He grinned as she acknowledged her nickname. He liked it. It sounds kinda cute and fun, and he was sure she had that side to her. "Ahhh, I didn't realise we'd start talking about my past," Haine said truthfully, rolling his yellow eyes upwards. "Well, I don't think we should go there. What about you?"

Cocoa also got down in a laying position. She sighed as she watched the snow slowly come down upon the two, like they were greeting two new wolves together almost. It was pretty romantic now, the two laying side by side, the snow coming down for them. That's all she really wanted now, is to be peaceful.
"What? About my history? Well, if you really want to know..... I mean, if you cry at depressing things, then I shouldn't tell you. That would be the best thing, because I don't want you crying all over me." Cocoa said teasingly, as she blinked her solid green eyes. She could see her gleaming reflection in his eyes. How sweet..

ooc- Cocoa has brown eyes. So does Haine, I've just realised. LOL xD
bic- Haine laughed, and played along as the snow came tumbling down, once again.
"Well, lovey, I weep at any slight tearjerker," he said dramatically, but in a way that she'd know was false. He threw back his head and began to mourn. "Just the idea that you have such a depressing past is making my eyes well up!" he yowled loudly, laughing and turning his chocolate eyes back to her.
"Go on, I won't cry," he laughed, and promised.

"Okay, here goes: My mother's name was Lithia. Lithia was a determined and strong Fae, who had never taken no for an answer. Her trust was hard to gain but she was endlessly loyal once it was gained. She was fiercely protective and better suited being a Brute, but alas she was small and beautiful as a Fae.
She grew up into the position of Alpha from when she was born with very protective parents, but they were killed in a war between another pack. Some called her bitter, and some called her proud but she knew what it takes to get by.
When she was 3 years of age, she came across a brute unlike another she’d met. He was tall and strong and endlessly charming, but bright red and black due to the animal testing he went through as a pup. With him she had three pups, one white, one black and one grey. He claimed that their mothers had died. She was blown away. She opened up to him about her life in a way she never had before and soon they had a pup, a single little girl, who was me.
She discovered him trying to escape with her pups one day and fought him for his need to stay. It was a tough, bloody battle which only made her angrier but she won. However, after he risked his life saving his first pup (Frosty) and disappeared, she regretted being a bad mate. So, I grew up with knowing that my father was a traitor. Frosty, Xaka, Blade, and me were called the Four Wind Wolves, because we all went our seperate ways. " Cocoa said, letting out a long sigh of relief. She looked into Haine's eyes, hoping he got all that. Her past had been horrible, along with her brothers' pasts.
