Her group, her group. Where did they go? Demi snorted angrily, running through the fog, lost immediately. How can she get through this? Where was Kinaki when you needed him? Where was anyone? Demi was just a blur still, turning left and right every so often. Why couldn't she find anyone? Her heart began to race, not out of excitement, but out of worry. Her mind began to race. What if the group left already? What if they were chased away and Demi didn't know… Other possibilities ran through her worried mind, and finally Demi came to a halt.
It was sudden, and she felt her pads rip slightly. Her back-side almost went over her head, but she stopped herself. Once she was stable again, Demi looked about, red eyes gleaming with anxiety. Her ear twitched, why didn't anyone come and save her? Slowly, her heart rate went down to its normal pace and she took in a deep breath. She needed to calm down.
Would anyone come? Or would she be alone for a while? Her heart began to race again and she made her way on again.

"That's what happens when you run too fast," Came a rather sardonic voice as Kinaki loped up behind his friend. The rather handsome, albeit cynically so, dark wolf had a wry smile on his face that seemed to say 'I told you so.' His shaggy dark coat rustled slightly in the wind, tickling against his ears and making him shake his head. Once the breeze had calmed down enough to satisfy him, he stopped ambling and turned to face Demi with a laconic smile on his face.
"Why are you so anxious, anyway?" He said, an inquisitive hint trailing into his voice. Kinaki himself wasn't really the type to get anxious easily, and he'd never really understood why people did. He was of a very level-headed nature, and had the ability to stay calm even when he should of course, be panicky.

Ah, there he was. Good timing. Demi smiled softly at him, calming down quickly. She never really told anyone that she was afraid to be left alone, and she really didn't feel like telling anyone at the moment. That would just show she had a weakness, and if the news of her weakness spread, then it could be used against her. Like all weaknesses were.
She shook her head. "I just wondered where everyone was." she replied, partially lying then frowned at herself, but then she laughed softly, "At least I actually didn't go right over." Like last time. It was a random memory, but it was when she was back in the old pack with Zephyr as alpha. She was just running when someone called her name and jumped out in front of her, and she skidded to a halt to try and stop herself from crashing into them. Back then it was quite embarrassing, bumping into the wolf, but now it was an amusing story.
"Interesting place, isn't it?" she asked, meaning the valley.

Wheya's grey and white pelt moved gently as she padded towads the two wolves. Her eas twitched, hearing part of their conversation. Something about running too fast... She followed the voices, and came to a halt when she smelt they were quite close. She barked a quick greeting, and padded closer until they were visable in the thick fog.
Her pale yellow eyes dazzled, and a friendly smile was firmly planted on her maw. Her orbs looked from one wolf to the other cautiously, she never knew, they could mean trouble.
'Hey, handsome, I'm Wheya.' she said to Kinaki, then she directed the next question the both wolves, 'Who're you two?'

Kinaki snorted at Demi's joke, and had almost exactly same thought as her: of a slightly younger Demi sprawled across another wolf in his old pack. Suddenly, a frown creased across the brute's face; he didn't have happy memories of that time. Shaking his head slightly, he turned away to glance around the surrounding area.
"Interesting? There's not exactly much to see with all this mist in the way," He commented, wrinkling his nose slightly. As Wheya appeared, he surveyed her with vaguely appraising eyes, as if trying to sum her up all in one go. She had afriendly smile, but that didn't necessarily mean she was friendly - you couldn't trust anyone in this day and age. As she called him handsome, he looked bemusedly at Demi.
"Well, now that you ask, apparently i'm 'handsome' but I alwats thought my name was Kinaki," he said drily.

Demi frowned, giving Kinaki a sad glance when he frowned and remembered back then. How horrible, to have to remember that... And she remembered it too. Demi was brought out of her memories quickly and she snapped her head round to look at Wheya, and she narrowed her eyes suspiciously. Who was this female? Of course, the more the merrier, more wolves was always a good thing so they could make some friends, but that wasn't the way Demi rolled.
When Wheya called Kinaki handsome, she snorted almost angrily. Sure, he was handsome, but Demi didn't like how she just said it out like that. It didn't leave a very good first impression on Demi altogether, and that's something that mattered to the quick female. She laughed softly at what Kinaki said, glancing at him, then looking back at the stranger.
"Demi." she replied, the tone of voice showing she wasn't very interested, and she gave quick, almost unnoticeable nod.

Wheya rolled her eyes, 'When you're given a compliment you usually take it, Kinaki' she said, stressing the name part sacastically. She looked at Demi, 'Well someone woke up on the wrong side of the funny tree this morning!' she said, good-naturedly. She sighed, her gaze flickering from one wolf to the other. She wished something interesting would happen.
'Well...' she said, thinking of something to say, 'We've you come from? I haven't seen you before.'

"Most people take jokes when given them, too," Kinaki replied effortlessly, raising his brow in an unimpressed manner. He wasn't trying to bicker, but unfortunately he had a rather quick tongue; plus, he hated to be looked down upon.
Suddenly, a wolfish grin spread across his face as he smiled at Wheya, in an effort to be a little more friendly. There was a good chance she was a part of Falling Moon, and if so, he didn't want to get on her bad side just yet.
"I suppose you could call us wanderers, really. We've been all over the place," he said in answer to her question, looking over at Demi for affirmation. "And you? I suppose you live somewhere near here?"

Wheya decided not to make a retort, mainly because she didn't like arguements, but also because there was two of them, and one of her. 'Me too, I guess you could call me a "rogue" aswell.' she watched them brightly, and almost naive quality to her gaze. She looked at Demi, and wondered if she was going to say anything. She opened her mouth to speak, but looked back at Kinaki, 'When did you get here?' she asked, 'To the valley, I mean.'

Demi frowned, glancing at Kinaki to hear his reply. He was smarter, and she nodded when he said they were wanderers. That's basically what they were, anyway. Simple wolves, going unnoticed. No, she didn't want them to go unnoticed. That would be boring. She looked at Wheya again, but said nothing. Demi tried to ignore the 'funny tree' comment. Who sleeps in trees anyway? She laughed mentally at this thought, of course Wheya didn't mean it literally.
Wheya. Strange name. She stared at Wheya for a moment, blinked and glanced at Kinaki. This female seemed too kind to be with Falling Moons, but she could always be wrong. She stayed quiet still, but pawed at the ground, but couldn't stand staying silent. "We just came recently." and Demi muttered under her breath, "And I doubt you know what a rogue can do..." Wheya was a mere loner.
