Bic| The sun shone through the mist, but luckily Iris wasn't there. She was travelling through the forest happily, bounding without a care in the world. She stepped over an upturned root and looked at the sky between the branches, and the sun's rays made her fur shine. She felt a little better about Caerwyn's pups, and she wondered what they would look. Would they be unique looking, like herself? Dark fur, like Caerwyn? She secretly hoped not, something about Caerwyn unnerved her now.
After telling Seta, Iris felt much better. She had let it out, but didn't know if she could trust him to keep it a secret. Would he tell their siblings? He probably knew she would tell Duke and Anevay herself, but she quickly moved the thoughts and problems to the back of her mind. Iris wanted to enjoy Spring, she just hoped she wouldn't meet someone she didn't want to. That included the wolf she wants to meet every day.

Seta and Tala wandered aimlessly about the lands. For Seta, this was a bit boring but Tala found herself doing this most days and had gotten pretty used to it. She was able to keep an eye on the pack even though it wasn't her job. She could get to meet the new members and also dig up some dirt on others. Staying quiet did that to you. It made your other senses more prominent and usually her ears were always open for the slightest of something to entertain herself. She found herself doing that now, wandering, keeping her ears perked as Seta went on and on about the pups him and Deppene would be having soon. But she'd tuned him.
"I wonder what they'll look like," he murmured glancing to Tala for the first time to see that she was hadly listening. He rolled his eyes and released a sigh getting more bored with each minute. He occupied himself with his thoughts and just tried to enjoy the quiet for the time being. He thought about Iris, wondering what she was going through, how she was feeling about the whole Caerwyn situation. But that only angered him and so he forced that out of his mind.
Tala, being the more vigilant one, had spotted Iris first. "There's Iris," she said matter of factly breaking through the silence for the first time. Seta lifted his gaze to see his sister, and his pace quickened slightly. He'd kept his mouth shut about her private situation. And he still wondered if he was the only one who knew. Tala eyed Seta suspiciously as he quickened his pace but she kept up with him. "Hey, Iris," Seta said with a small smile as they reached her. Tala nodded her head and placed a polite smile upon her maw.

'-g says to the horse: 'Hey! Why the long face?!' Topaz and Quartz padded through the mist together. They had both almost forgotten their worries, because when they were together, they felt complete. They were both in fits of giggles, they had been telling funny stories and jokes all day. They knew now they would never leave each other's side and that moony will always roleplay them together from now on [/s], because they were just such close siblings. They both felt a bit bad underneath all this happiness, neither had really taken a chance to get to know each other this well, but now they knew exactly what made the other one tick. They both spotted the three siblings ahead, but recognised only Iris from a while back. Topaz smiled, but Quartz wrinkled his nose up, he hated falling moons. Hated them.

Iris stopped, hearing her name twice and she looked round to see Tala and Seta. She smiled warmly at them both, trying to forget the conversation she and Seta had had. Iris nodded to each of them, unsure if she should tell Tala about the pups or not. "Hi!" she said back, sounding happy, but their was a tinge of sadness in her voice and she noticed it. Iris didn't let her smile falter though, she just pawed at the ground before looking at Tala. "It's been a while..." she said softly, but her ears twitched at the sound of more voices.
For a moment she thought it could be Tessar and Rose, but when she looked up she could see the twins she met before, in the cave of echoes. Iris' smile fell, she can't like any Dancing Stars around her family. "Don't look now..." she muttered to her siblings, gesturing to Quartz and Topaz.

"How're you?" Seta asked, voice flat showing no concern despite Iris' situation. He didn't want to give off any hints to Tala because he wasn't sure Iris was keen on telling anyone just yet. Silently in his head, he wondered how she was dealing with situation and was curious about what she'd do with the pups. Maybe she didn't want a reminder of how cruelly she was tricked into something. Or maybe Iris just wanted to be a mother, and maybe deep down, despite what Caerwyn had done to her she still loved him. It was all so confusing to him and he figured it was useless to try and decipher what Iris' feelings because he wasn't in her situation.
Tala nodded and smiled kindly. "Yeah, it has," she muttered. The last time she'd spoken with Iris was probably when Seta and Rose had gotten into that little brawl in the Clearing. That seemed like ages ago and she was sure her sister had changed. Physically she had, all of them had. In a way, she felt bad for living her childhood without even making an attempt to get to know her siblings well. She sighed, guilt washing over her but then she realized that the past was done, it was unchangeable. She knew there was no point in dwelling on it.
Seta and Tala both turned their simultaneously to see Quartz and Topaz. Tala's auds flattened and a growl began to rumble in her throat but it quickly died down. The twins had a right to be here. After all, it was No Man's Land. She sighed and glanced at her siblings to see their reactions. Seta just released a sigh and frowned peering at the ground. So much for a sibling meeting.

Quartz chuckled, 'Interupting something, are we?' he growled, 'I'm ever so sorry.' he said sarcastically, glaring at Seta and Tala. Topaz sighed, staring at the ground. She thought about Caerwyn. He was horrible, he was turning evil, and Topaz couldn't do a thing about it. She loved him, though, she would always love him. She had heard he tricked a female into breeding with him. She shuddered at the thought, she couldn't imagine...
She looked up at the wolves, and smiled warmly at the 3 siblings, ignoring Quartz's comment. Her auds flickered back at the sound of Tala's growl, but when she stopped, she brought her ears forward again.

Iris frowned sadly, she wanted to speak to Tala and Seta about mates, although she knew about Seta being with Deppene already. At Seta's question, she smiled again and nodded. "I'm fine." she replied, and meant it. Almost nothing was wrong with her, but part of her mind wouldn't let her think about it anymore and she looked over at the twins, her smile slowly disappearing. Iris snorted, she didn't feel like being the peace maker in case a fight broke out, but she doubted it. Unlike that male Dancing Star, her siblings knew that they were both allowed to be here. But she also knew they did like fighting, and Seta would probably use the excuse 'I need to train to become Alpha'.
What an excuse. "You are, actually. I can see you're talented for opening your mouth, can't you shut it just as well?" she said rather bitchily to the twin. It was quite uncharacteristic for her, and Iris noticed. Perhaps it was because of her pregnancy, or she wanted to let out some anger she was holding in. She guessed it was both.

Quartz snorted, and looked at Topaz, as he always did when he was lost for words. He knew she was the brainy one, so he generally let her do all the talking. Topaz frowned at Iris, knowing from when she met her last that that wasn't like her. She knew Quartz wasn't perfect, but he was her brother. She glared at Iris for a few seconds, and bit back her tongue.
Her gaze flickered back to Seta and Tala, she wathced them carefully, they didn't seem too bad, but they were Duke's children, and you could never be too careful. She sat down, her gaze flickered to each wolf before she said, 'Now that the pleasentries are over with, perhaps we could have some peaceful conversation.'

Seta and Tala were both taken aback by Iris' new attitude. They'd always noticed that Iris was the laid back one, the peace maker. Now, obviously, the tables were turned. The heir and heiress both looked at their sibling, eyes wide and surprised and ears perked in curiousity. They awaited her next harsh line with anticipation and smirks on their maws as they both turned their heads to catch the reactions of the twins before them.
Despite Seta's knowledge of what had happened to Iris, he didn't think she'd ever act like that. But he should know how much his sister was bottling up inside and she had to let it out one way or another. This way was just how she'd chosen to do it. Seta wondered if a fight would break out. If one did, he wouldn't mind it. He needed the training. Regardless of what everyone else thought, Seta wasn't just some mindless killing machine like the rest of the Falling Moon wolves. He didn't go out in search of fights but if one happened upon him, he'd gladly jump in.
Tala felt a wave of respect wash over her towards her sister. Was this the same Iris who had tried to break up Seta and Rose when they'd gotten into that mini fight? Tala was beginning to realize that every dark wolf had a light side. And every light wolf had a dark side, despite what anyone said.

Iris frowned, glancing at her siblings and noticed their slightly shocked expressions. She knew it must have been surprising, but did they think that there was no bad side to her at all? Iris just wanted to be with her siblings, and now that she had started one harsh line, she decided to try and let it all out on the twins.
Iris looked back at them. "Yes, I can have peaceful conversation with my siblings while you make it pleasant, and leave." she snapped. Iris had to admit, she enjoyed making snarky comments like this, but knew she couldn't be like this forever. Part of her wanted to stop, but she knew it was best to let out her anger on Falling Moon's enemy rather than a member of her family or friends.
Iris glanced at Seta and Tala. Did they like this new Iris? She looked back at the twins, waiting for them to give a retort.
