A young, small figure raced into the dark, shadowy forest. She skidded to a stop, wiping away her tears. Sapphire sighed, thinking again what Onisim had said. "I only crossed paths with Sapphire. I barely have anything to do with her." Those had been his words, and Sapphire regretted ever meeting Onisim. If she hadn't even met him, then she wouldn't be outcast here. Sapphire realized that her destiny right now was to be a loner for now, and maybe when she was older, and when she had learned from her mistakes, maybe by then she would have a mate, possibly pups, and she would be able to return to Dancing Stars. But not right now, anyways. Sapphire now only partially liked Onisim, not wanting to join Falling Moon anymore. She also regretted of what she said to her parents. "I can't believe you guys are even my mom and dad!" Or that was close to what she had said. Sapphire panted as she leaned against a tree, wishing somebody would come. She let out a melodic, sad howl, not caring if anybody heard or not.

He recognized the howl and he felt a surge of tangled anger and despair. So he ran across No-Man's-Land, feeling hot tears beginning to come to his eyes. He never imagined that his older sister would hate living with Dancing Stars so much that'd she leave. Toboe had always loved Sapphire, no matter how girl and obnoxious she'd be to him. Now he was ashamed to see that the very thing he called a traitor was now what his sister was. Because even though she didn't leave to join Falling Moon, she left Dancing Stars, her birth family and her home, at the worst time, and for what? Toboe didn't know. So maybe he could find out.
He skidded as he spotted his sister's familiar face. He froze, unable to find words for what to say, and the welled up tears began to fall down his face. His sister, his only sister... He wished he had Eyelle with him right now, to back him up, to comfort him. But he didn't even have Eyelle yet. By now he wasn't sure whether or not he'd get to have her.

Sapphire's ears flicked, and she turned around, to see her dear brother, Toboe. "Toboe, is that you? Thank god you came! I..... i really miss everybody, including my family. I regret everything I said, but I can't join Dancing Stars right now. Well, I will join it, but not now, just later. I just feel unwanted in this world. Onisim thinks I'm just another girl. Our dad just thinks that I have no honor, or anything. And I don't know what Mom and Takumi think of me now." Sapphire said, padding over slowly to her brother, her head down, and her ears plastered to her head. She was currently surrounded by darkness, and sadness, and she didn't know how to get out of it.

Toboe padded closer towards her, too, staring at the top of her head before dropping his muzzle between her pinned ears. Ohh, his sister, his only sister... He didn't realize this was how she felt, or how his father felt, and he never knew she actually had a thing for Onisim. He was so behind with his family right now that he just felt so guilty... Perhaps it was because he had been busy chasing Eyelle around, giving his full heart and soul and thought into her. The wolf he was so sure he loved. Now he realized he needed to learn balance.
"It's okay, Sapphire. We still love you. And I don't know about this Onisim guy and what he thinks of you, but I do know that you're way too good for him!" He nuzzled his face into his sister's shoulder, feeling almost helpless. In reality, he probably was. "Be careful out here, Sapphire. Never trust a Falling Moon."

"I want to come back so badly, but nobody will probably accept me. I don't have a 'thing' for Onisim." Sapphire said, sighing. She nuzzled Toboe's fur, and sighed. "I am a disgrace to life." Sapphire muttered. She looked down to the ground, her ears plastered to her head in a depressive way.
ooc: So sorry. i have a major writing block.

"WHAT? What are you talking about?" Toboe said in disbelief, backing away to get a good look at her face. He watched her for a few moments before shaking his head and sitting on his rump. He sighed. "Listen, Sapphire, Mom and Dad still love you, and so does the pack. There's no one keeping you out of Dancing Stars except yourself." He teared up again but this time there was a smile on his face. He realized now that she had left the pack because she thought she was hated. He was happy about that because she could be convinced otherwise. She could still come back to the family. "Come back home, Sapphire. You don't belong out here. You have a family that loves you, even if it might not seem like it!"

"Toboe, please oh please listen to me. If only you had actually SEEN father. It was fuming with anger, and he thinks that I'm not responsible enough to be in Dancing Stars. Besides, pretty much none of the males in our pack like me, and I want to find a mate soon, and perhaps even have pupss." Sapphire explained, her ears flicking up and down, holding back her anger, and also wishing that her brother would just listen to her for once in his actual lifetime.

Toboe frowned. Sapphire was just taking it way too fast, taking everything too seriously. He was starting to see how they really were related; not very long ago at all, he was exactly like Sapphire, just a lot worse off. He was naive, he was stupid, he was impatient, he lived for the moment. He grew up expecting the world to be handed to him on a silver platter. Well, now, he was growing up.
She was starting to turn it into another direction. Now, instead of saying she wouldn't be accepted back into the pack, she was leaning more towards she didnt want to come back to the pack. Toboe sighed and closed his eyes. There was nothing he could do. He had a feeling he was going to be all alone the next coming year.
"Alright, Sapphire. You want to know what Father thinks? He thinks that you need to learn a lesson. He thinks that you will open your eyes someday to see that you left behind your only family for your own dreams. That's what I think." He started backing away, pinning his ears to his skull miserably. "You know what else I think? He's right, Sapphire. Go ahead and live out here, look for a mate. Keep expecting things to come easy for you. Forget about your family, forget about how much you hurt Dad's feelings. We don't- we can't- think about you anymore and how much you wish you wish for freedom! Because there are bigger things going on, Sister. Falling Moon and Dancing Stars aren't done with each other yet. I don't care what you do at this point, but I know why I am staying with Dancing Stars. I'm going to protect my family." He shook his head, the tears coming worse than ever, and he turned away before Sapphire could see them. He tried to run away, hoping dearly that she wouldn't try to stop him. He was done with the conversation. His sister was a blind traitor, leaving the pack for selfish reasons. She probably didn't even know it. But Toboe knew it, because no matter how naive he might be, he understood the thin line of loyalty. No matter what happened within Dancing Stars, they'd always be a family who cared and forgave each other. They weren't like loners, or Falling Moon- wolves who lived for their own reasons. He'd always stand for what he knew was right, not what he wished he could have.
He continued running.

"TOBOE, PLEASE!!!! I-I'LL DO ANYTHING TO COME BACK! I MISS EVERYONE! PLEASE COME BACK!!!" Sapphire yowled, her eyes swelling up with tears again. This was why she had left. Because everybody misjudged her, and thought that she wasn't responsible enough to be an adult yet. But she had been wrong. Some of her friends, even family, had actually believed in her. "Please, Toboe, just come back to me!" Sapphire said, letting out a sad, melodic song. She longed so much for her brother to come back. "Why? Why am I cursed so much like this, that I feel so treated unfairly? I don't deserve this in my life!"Sapphire howled, letting out another sad song.

The wail's of his sister cut into Toboe so deep that he stopped in his tracks, squeezing his eyes shut. He was having mixed emotions about the whole ordeal and he wished he had someone who could give him some advice. But he knew it was something he'd had to solve within his own heart. He considered walking away. To show Sapphire he was serious. But as he contemplated it, his eyes snapped open and he stared at the pebbles near his toes. How could he be so stupid? He was putting up this big front about how you need to stay loyal to your family and protect them. Well, what about Sapphire? She was his direct flesh and blood! How hypocritical he was being!
He sniffled and mustered up the courage to turn around. He started walking back towards his sister, looking defeated. His sister still needed to make up her mind; but he had made up his, he decided. If Sapphire left the pack, he'd consider leaving the pack. He would do it, if to protect his sister from the dangers of living alone. But, to do that to Eyelle...
He stopped several feet in front of Sapphire and finally lifted his head to meet her gaze, his eyes red around the rims. "Will you come back?" he asked softly, little emotion on his face except a spark of hope and some love. "Will you make peace with Father and Mother and anybody else you feel indifferent towards?" He hoped she said 'yes'. Ohh, God, he hoped she did. He wanted to have pups, too. He wanted to stay with his family. But true loyalty also meant sacrifice, and he knew he loved his siter enough to give up the life he had planned out for himself.

Sapphire still had tears in her eyes as Toboe came back to her. "Well..... I don't know. Even if I do make peace with Mother and Father, I have some feeling that they will still dislike it even though they don't show it. You know Aunt Cocoa? I think Father was surprised, and almost thought I was her pup, not his. I mean, sometimes I actually do feel like Cocoa. I feel misunderstood, and mistreated. She had felt mistreated and misunderstood before because everybody was treating her like a little baby, or so she thought. I feel treated unfairly sometimes because it seems like everybody just have to keep a watch on me. It's sometimes rather annoying. But what do you think, Toboe? Please give me an honest answer. I mean, if I do stay out here just for a little while to understand my mistakes, would you stay with me?" Sapphire said, letting out a gasp for air as she finished her explanation. She was scared of what Toboe would say, and she didn't dare look at his face, for fear that he would be angry, or something.
