Young girl, don't cry I'll be right here when your world starts to fall Young girl, it's all right Your tears will dry, you'll soon be free to fly
When Eyelle was alone, she didn't feel so bad. She knew that she still had a loving pack, some friends if they'd still have her. But when she was alone, she could feel her mother's soaring spirit within her and her voice singing Eyelle back to sanity.
When you're safe inside your room you tend to dream Of a place where nothing's harder than it seems No one ever wants or bothers to explain Of the heartache life can bring and what it means
With her mother's coppery pelt and bright beautiful green eyes always fresh in Eyelle's mind, she found herself smiling. She felt like singing, like her mother used to sing to her. To tell her everything was okay, or everything was going to be okay.
"When there's no one else Look inside yourself Like your oldest friend Just trust the voice within Then you'll find the strength That will guide your way If you will learn to begin To trust the voice within"
She still had Jasmyn, right? Their pack had their own land now, the Falling Moons surely had nothing to threaten them with. They were all just wolves, right? All just wolves with different points of view. This sometimes saddened the beautiful brown and grey female, but as the wind whipped through her fur she felt englightened.
Young girl, don't hide You'll never change if you just run away Young girl, just hold tight And soon you're gonna see your brighter day
Things were going to get better. Maybe her world had been shaken up a bit, but there was time to fix things. She didn't have a mate, she didn't have pups, but she didn't really need them right now. She would've loved to have pups. She wasn't sure what sort of father she imagined for them.
Now in a world where innocence is quickly claimed It's so hard to stand your ground when you're so afraid Memories are there for you to hold When you're lost outside look inside to your soul
In a way, she was still a little angry at her father for leaving. Her mother had no choice but her father had been a coward about it. Her family was shrinking bit by bit but she determined to fiercely protect what was left of it. Maybe start her own someday.

Crystal padded up the mountains, Gwenevere trailing behind her. Kabuto was back at home with Frosty. Crystal had already taken them together, and shown them to Sapphire, but now she wanted to take them indiviually so she could teach them seperate things. Gwenevere bounded up and up the mountains. "Be careful, Gwenevere." Crystal warned, as she grabbed her daughter by the scruff so she wouldn't fall. Crystal finally reached the top, as she saw a figure. Gwenevere swuirmed out of Crystal's grip, and ran to Eyelle. "Gwenevere, wait!" Crystal called after her daughter, but she wasn't listening. She just jumped right in top of Eyelle. "I'm so sorry, Eyelle!" Crystal called to her friend.

Eyelle was snapped out of her daydream quickly and the mental image of her mother disappeared quickly. It didn't leave her feeling empty, as usual, but instead very clear headed. Probably this mountain air, cleared your senses even when you didn't mean it to.
Eyelle quickly stopped Gwenevere from running any faster or further with a soft paw on her back (If that's too pp for you, just say). She looked up, smiling gently, feeling genuinely content for the first time in a while.
"It's okay, Crystal. This little one's got a taste for trouble, I suppose?" she laughed a little, sitting down and gazing at the little pup. "Gwenevere's a pretty name. Is she your only one?" She asked curiously.

ooc: No, it's not too much pp.
bic: "Yes, Gwenevere is quite the troublemaker. And no, I also have a son, named Kabuto. He's at home with Frosty, I'm assuming. Unless Frosty took him to explore." Crystal said, smiling at Eyelle. She was such a good friend.
Gwenevere continued to run, until she gave up when she knew she couldn't win against Eyelle's strong paw. She tilted her head, wondering what this wolf's name was. "She seems pretty nice to mommy." Gwenevere thought, as she smiled up at Eyelle, her teeth sparkling from her grin.

"Haha, sounds exhausting. I'm glad you and Frosty had another litter, it goes to show that love can last," Eyelle smiled genuinely. She found recently that she had to fake a smile and spit out some kind words to get by, but right now she felt no need, she felt at ease.
Eyelle looked down at Gwenevere and imitated her big grin, then nuzzling her nose playfully into the little pup's side. She was pretty sure that pups were the one thing that made her truly happy- so innocent and unaware of so much. The best way to be, really. The only thing she'd find hard if she had pups was watching them grow up and learn about all of the dangers of their small world.
"She looks like you," Eyelle commented with a soft smile, casting her glimmering green eyes between the black dappled mother and daughter.

"Yes, very exhausting. They already met Takumi and Toboe, and then they just met Sapphire, so looks like they have met all of their siblings at least." Crystal said, smiling. "And yeah, I guess she looks like me. But lately, she kind of limps at various times. I don't know if it is permanent or what." She said, shrugging as she looked down at little Gwenevere. She was so sweet. Crystal could never imagine her daughter going seperate ways like Cocoa, or Sapphire did.
Gwenevere smiled as Eyelle nuzzled her, and then imitated her grin. She smiled even wider, rays of sunshine beaming down on her little teeth.

The sun was shining, the sky was blue, and there was new life in Dancing Stars. However, in the midst of it all, Jasmyne was not smiling. Her green eyes were saddened, and her body seemed to sag and lay lower to the ground as she walked, heavy with the realization that now she only had Eyelle. She stifled a sob, sniffling and pausing to wipe her eyes with her paw. Since the news of the deaths of her mother and sister, and her father's departure, she had distanced herself from everyone and everything.
She felt like her world had fallen apart, and was slowly crumbling on its last legs into a pit of dark oblivion. Nothing seemed to go right now, and the one person she could talk to was nowhere to be seen. She hadn't seen Eyelle since their falling out with the alphas, where Midnight had threatened her sister and almost kicked her out of Dancing Stars. Jasmyne was still outraged by this, though her female alpha had apologized for the remark. How could she say that to her childhood friends, whose mother and her own had once been so close? It made Jasmyne sick when she thought of it. But she shook her head, hoping to clear the thought away from her mind.
As she climbed the mountain slowly, familiar scents caught her nose, and her almost emotionless expression brightened slightly. Could it be? She inhaled deeper, and her eyes softened a bit more. She even managed to let a small smile spread across her maw. Jasmyne picked her paws up, her body posture changing as she realized her last surviving sister was near. Her pace quickened, and her eyes searched franticly for her. She needed to see her, needed to be near her older sister. Without Eveline there to comfort them, they only had each other now.
Soon, she was in eyesight of her. Jasmyne's face lifted up with uncontrollable happiness as she spotted Eyelle. It had been weeks since she'd seen her. With Eyelle, however, was Crystal, who happened to be Toboe's mother and another friend of the sisters. Slowing down, Jasmyne spotted a little ball of fur near Eyelle, and realized that it was Crystal's female pup. She smiled at the sight, seeing her sister happy and the way the impressionable young pup acted. This sight made her feel a tad warmer inside, and it was a feeling she missed deeply. She gave a bark to make her presenc known, and padded closer to the two older faes and the pup.

Eyelle laughed, a sound she hadn't managed to make for a fairly long time, at Gwenevere's adorable expression. She looked back up at Crystal and was about to comment on the neat balance of having a boy and a girl when she heard a heartwarmingly familiar bark.
She rose to her feet quickly, being careful not to bump into Gwen, and padded over to her sister. "Jas!" she cried happily, nuzzling into her sister's cheek. She smiled, feeling all the more better now Jasmyne was here. She hadn't seen her for a while, but in all fairness, both sisters had been holed up in their mourning for so long.
She settled back into a sitting position again, tail softly thumping the ground behind her. She looked up at the sky and thought she saw a glimmer of her mother's beaming smile in the sunlight that glittered in her eyes.

Eyelle! Jasmyne nuzzled into her sister, glee filling her more and more. She smiled, a true smile that she hadn't had for weeks. The sadness was too much to bear, and she thought back to Haine's words. How right he had been about life taking things away in an instant.
She sighed, looking to the sky as if to try and see her mother and Leia there. When she did, the sun did seem a little brighter, and she thought she could see a smile in it, for a moment. But that wasn't possible, right?
Her tail wagged furiously, and she looked past Eyelle to grin at Crystal. Looking down at Gwenevere, she almost laughed at the little furball and looked to Crystal once more. What's her name? She looked back at her sister, another question forming on her tongue. How have you been?

"Jasmyne! I haven't seen you for so long!" Crystal replied, racing over to her friend. Gwenevere jumped up and down over to Jasmyne, like a little bunny hopping around everything, not yet a care in the world through this little pup's eyes. Crystal smiled at Gwenevere, wondering why she was such a little hyperactive furball and nutball too. But Crystal shrugged it off. Her daughter was always like this.
"Her name is Gwenevere. I also have a new son named Kabuto, but he's at home with Frosty. How's Toboe, Jasmyne? I haven't seen him for awhile." Crystal remarked.

Eyelle flinched slightly at the mention of Toboe's name. For some reason, all feelings of content and relaxation she felt around her friend had become enormously awkward in her mind. She knew he had loved her, and possibly still did, and it made her feel odd.
She wondered if she had rushed into a relationship with Toboe quicker, she would be happier now. The whole Loch fandango would have been avoided, maybe her mother wouldn't have died by some strange twist or fate, and concluding that her family wouldn't have been torn apart. Maybe.
"I've been... well, I've been better Jas. I remember that song mum used to sing us," Eyelle smiled quietly into her answer. She always had the memories, surely.

Jasmyne laughed as she watched Gwen with curious green eyes; she hadn't seen such a happy pup in a long time, and it was refreshing to see that this young one could not see just how corrupt their world really was-yet. In a way, she feared for the young pup for she knew that Gwenevere did not know what she and the rest of the Dancing Stars adults did. But she shook the bad thoughts away, and smiled as the pup bounded around her. Hello there little Gwen. How are you?
She looked towards her sister, and saw her muscles tense up almost instantly at Toboe's name. But she decided not to dwell on it, and if Eyelle wanted to talk about it later, she would. Her ears drooped slightly on her head, and she heard her sister's words.
She smiled as her sister brought up their childhood, and the beautiful song their mother had sang when they were little. She could hear her mother's words in her mind, her soft, beautiful voice ringing in her ears and it lightened her heart a little. She nodded. I remember too, Eyelle. I used to love that song..She sighed, a little upset she couldn't remember every part of the song. She wondered if her sister could.
