The rain fell lightly, not enough to dampen a Dancing Star's spirits but enough to get a Falling Moon's temper up. A certain Falling Moon, one with a terrible temper and an even terrible mind, was making her way up towards the Cave of Echoes. She was feeling very, very irritable. Spring, she thought. Spring was nothing but a bother. Pups were born in Dancing Stars, which meant more wolves to fight. More pups in Falling Moon meant more mouths to feed, and more irritating yaps for attention. How could anyone think Spring was enjoyable?
She shook the drips of water from her fur as she entered the cave, snorting as a drop of water landed on her nose from above. The cave, why in the world did she come here? Was she hoping to meet a certain someone, or was she just trying to get out of the rain? She looked at the Catacomb of Spirits and memories came flooding back, playing round in her head. How she missed her dear ex-mate, but at the thought Myu snorted again. How silly, how… Dull. Having a mate was liking tying yourself to a tree, restricted. Of course, Myu wasn't the one to flirt with every wolf she sees, Rhyfel was just lucky.
Myu quickly made her way around the cave, glancing at the Catacomb every so often but made sure not to go near it. It made her nervous.

Dachian's black paws squelched in the mud. His big, brown eyes flickered from place to place in search of shelter. The rain fell lightly, but he felt like taking a walk, and if he found somewhere to get out of the rain; bonus! He rose his maw, and scented another wolf. It was a wolf he had met plenty of times before, and always but a smile on his face. He bounded towards the cave of echoes quickly, towards Myu.
He liked Myu, he didn't know why, but there was something about her... He skidded to a halt, sliding into the cave. The darkness consumed him as soon as he entered, forcing his brown orbs to widen. He sniffed the air, wondering where abouts she was.
'Myu?' he called, slightly hesitant.

Myu's ears perked forward at a familiar voice. She had caught his scent when he came to the cave entrance, but she ignored it. Now she couldn't. Looking up, Myu blinked at Dachian, remembering back then. Why was it always in the cave she remembered things? How cliché. She nodded curtly to him, making her way towards him slowly, dragging her paws against the ground.
She liked Dachian. There was something about him, but of course now that he was a loner she felt like an acquaintance to him. "Dachian." she said softly, giving a small crooked smile. "Long time no see, hm?"

He smiled back, watching her happily. 'Mhmm.' he said, looking around. His gaze returned back to Myu, he watched her with caring eyes, 'So what's new in Myu-world?' he asked, a cheeky smile curving on his lips. He waited patiently for an answer, wondering how she was feeling. He didn't want Myu to be sad, and he didn't want her to be angry at the world. He just wanted her to be happy...
He watched her inquistively(sp?), waiting patiently for a response.

Myu's crooked smile stayed, if not widening, and shrugged. Sitting down on her haunches, she looked out of the cave at the rain still falling. Her mind was now calm and she slowly looked round at Dachian again, her smile slowly disappearing. "Nothing, really. Everything's going by slowly." she replied calmly.
Dachian made her feel calm, he was a friend. Is this what a friend was? Myu was slightly confused but wouldn't let it show, and her smile was very small so he didn't think she wasn't happy. "What about you? Anything new?" It might be because he seemed rather innocent. Myu wasn't. What kind of a friendship was this?

Dachian thought about Iris, it seemed like time passed so quickly when he was with her, and when they were apart time dragged slowly, almost painfully. He felt so comfortable around Iris, he loved hearing her laugh, it was so beautiful. He loved to watch her beautiful face as she smiled. He tried not to think about her, and focus on what Myu was saying. Wait Myu was talking? He shook his head lightly, pushing the thought of Iris away for a moment. 'Wha...-Oh, right. No, not much has happened to me...I left the pack, although I guess you knew that, and I left Tala behind... But if she loved me she would of followed me, right?' he said, hoping Myu could but his mind to rest.

Myu nodded softly, looking at Dachian for a moment before looking at her paws. "You're right. You should always know that a loved one would do anything for you." she replied, looking at him again. She remembered when Rhyfel suggested he join Falling Moon, just to be with Myu, and she frowned at the thought. Not wanting to think about Rhyfel, or any matter of love for herself, she forced a smirk and straightened up.
"Well, got anyone else in mind?" she asked, half joking. Surely he wouldn't be interested in anyone else? Myu could never see herself being interested in another wolf, but of course she was truly in love, it wasn't just a school-girl crush like Dachian had on Tala. Not that she was calling him a girl.

Dachian relaxed. He and Tala didn't love each other, else Tala would of followed. That made him feel plenty better. His seemed to settle down now, he wasn't as on edge. He tensed a little at the question. What about Iris? He had feelings for her, right? But would it be okay to tell Myu...He trusted her, but...
'Sort of.' he replied coolly, a lot more confidently than he felt.

Myu nodded, slowly lying down on her stomach. She was comfortable around Dachian, she would even go as far as to call him a friend. She hesitated, wondering if she should ask him who it was or not. Seeing as she didn't want the silence to continue, and the conversation was going along pretty well, she smirked at him.
"Who's the lucky girl, then?" she teased, still smirking. She blinked at Dachian, her brown eyes slowly regaining that sparkle they always had. But there was a glint of insanity. That insanity was always there.

Dachian didn't really have an answer to her question. Well, he did, but it was awkward, Iris being Tala's sister and all... He wondered how to phrase his answer, you would of thought it was easy, but he couldn't just say the wolf's name...
'Lets see if you can guess.' he said, tilting his head to the side, 'She's a falling moon, and her name begins with 'I'.'
He hoped another wolf's name began with I...

Myu frowned. She didn't like guessing games. But, seeing as it was the only way to find out who Dachian liked, Myu sighed and thought quickly. She didn't know anyone with a name that begins with 'I' personally, and then her mind went blank. "That heiress?" she snorted in disbelief. Surely he couldn't like that goody-goody?
But then again, Dachian was the good guy out of his family. Almost put shame to his family, but his family wasn't the best anyway. She didn't feel pity for the family, or for Dachian, but now she was in amazement. "Iris?"

Dachian blushed, he went a little giddy at the though of Iris. He giggled almost girlishly, and looked shyly at the ground, swaying from side to side. There was a big grin on his face, and he felt a little embarresed. He looked up at Myu, he chuckled, and snorted, then looked at the ground.
'Yeeeeeeeaaaaahhhhhhhh....' he said, still swaying from side to side. 'Isn't she just wonderful, though? I mean, she understands me, and she feels like the odd one out, just like me...' he went quiet now, embarresed, and he glanced down at the floor again.
