Dachian's brown paws hit the earth hard and fast, like the rhythm of a drum beat. His brown eyes swelled with tears, he was lost in a world of thought, not thinking about where he was going. He was thinking about Iris, she seemed to control his thoughts at the moment, not physically, but she and Tala were the only wolves he could think about. He loved Tala, right? Right! Then why did he know he had stronger feelings for Iris? Nothing is stronger then love, right? Right?
He was suddenly aware of where he was. He looked up, feeling confused about the gap in time there had been since the shadow forest and here. He looked around, recogniseing the place. It was the cave of echoes. The cave of echoes made him nervous, he met his father here, and it still sent a shiver up his spine. He padded slowly towards a pool of dark water, and stared in.
It didn't look clean, but neither did anything else in here. Something else caught his attention, it was the breeze. Dachian froze, why was there a breeze? The exit was far away, Dachian was at the back of the cave; deep, deep down in the darkened gloom. He raised his muzzle in the air, testing for scents. 'Who's there?' he growled, sounding much more confident than he was.

Run. That's all she wanted to do, but curiosity got the better of her and she was now in this secluded area where there was no proper running space. Snorting angrily, Demi looked up at the ceiling before slowly walking about. She had no idea what this place was called, nor did she know that there were ghosts of dead wolves in the cavern that she just passed.
Demi looked about once more, stopping far from the entrance. Considering the weather, it was very cold. Goosebumps ran along her spine and she felt like someone was watching her, but she quickly pushed the feeling to the back of her mind and walked around the cave again, exploring every corner she dared go near. When she heard someone walk in, Demi glanced round her shoulder before creeping behind a large rock.
Demi hid. Holding her breath for a moment, it sounded like this male didn't care if she was there or not, and she looked round to see him deep at the back of the cave. Snorting again, Demi came out from behind the rock casually, not taking her red eyes off of the male. "Who're you? she snapped.
True, she shouldn't have snapped. True, he didn't have to answer. False, she wanted him not to answer.

Dachian's eyes sought the female the voice belonged to. He pulled back his lips and growled. 'Dachian.' he said simply, 'I'm a loner, who're you?' he asked, relaxing a little. True, she had red eyes, but not every red-eyed wolf was a killer like his aunt, Dagger. He watched her intently; with big, brown, intelligent eyes.
He glanced at the rock she had emeraged from behind, and that made him relax about the whole creepy-feeling-of-being-watched, but it didn't explain the draft. He waited patiently for an answer, his gaze gliding back to the she-wolf.

Demi hesitated, narrowing her eyes slightly. He didn't seem intimidated by her eyes, and he didn't snap back when she demanded his name. That didn't please her. What was with this wolf? She looked into his brown eyes for a moment, blinking.
"Demi." she replied flatly. But what if he was lying about his name? Why would he lie about his name? How stupid. Stepping back to have her own personal bubble back, Demi stayed quiet as he asked his question. Should she say Falling Moon? Should she tell him a loner? What if he was lying about that as well, and he was trying to find information about her? Now she felt rather victimized.
"I'm going to be in Falling Moon... Soon." Demi paused, looking about the cave again, "Does... This place have a name?"

The name falling moon sent a shiver up his spine. It made him think of Tala...And Iris. He heaved a sigh, he was getting fed up of just thinking of Iris, he wanted to talk to her again. He didn't care what about, what she ate last, how she was, who she met recently; just a conversation with her.
Dachian shugged, 'Cave of echoes, I think.' he said off-handedly, watching her with his intelligent eyes, 'So...Why do you want to join the falling moons anyway?'

Demi's ears swivelled at the sound of dripping water, but she didn't take her eyes off of Dachian. She hesitated, Demi wasn't going to tell him she was with a group and going to cause havoc, what if he had some friends or family in the pack? Demi almost snorted, but held back, at the thought of family. He's lucky if he likes his family, or if they liked him.
"Because the Dancing Stars are too kind." she explained, pausing for a moment as she thought, "I like a little drama. Besides, the Falling Moon land is more impressive." She paused, blinking at Dachian. "Were you always a loner?"

Dachian flinched a little at the mention of the falling moons. She blinked, staring at the ground. Him leavng the falling moons was quite a long story, and he didn't know if he could trust her; let alone trust her not to get bored.
'No, I left...' he muttered quietly, 'I'd tell you why but...' he sighed, trailing off.
'I'll tell you...But don't tell anyone else, because...Well, just don't, kay?' he asked politely, then sat down, 'It's a pretty long story, so it's up to you if you want to know or not.'
