Her feelings of sudden loneliness had been replaced with pride. She was going to be a grandmother, and her own daughter was an alpha. She was like a matriarch now, the same as her good friend, Quianna. She felt happy even though she was starting to feel old. Which really wasn't true, considering she only about four years of age or so. She had a long life yet to live.
...
She had wandered very far out of Dancing Stars territory. She didn't know why, but her feet brought her here, and now she was getting slightly edgy, being so far away from her family. But it was alright because she hadn't seen any sign of strangers yet and she was going to backtrack anyways. So after getting a good eyeful of scenery, pretty Sukalina turned around and began to pad away, meanwhile glancing at the sharp edges of the cliffs. If she didn't pay close attention, she might fall off the side of one of those edges.

Dark eyes watched the pretty female as she made her way along the cliffs. She could tell Sukalina was nervous, it basically radiated off of her, but who wouldn't be nervous standing at the edge like that? She made no noise as she stepped out of the shadows a few fox-lengths behind Sukalina, not taking her eyes off of the female.
She felt the need to do something, she felt the need to feel... Important again. Better than someone, Myu felt like she was just on the sidelines. But by doing this, she'd be noticed, right? Sukalina would see her before Myu made her move, and perhaps a Dancing Star or a loner would come by. They would see Myu too, then she would be noticed. But their expressions would be worthless, their harsh words would go through one ear and right out the other. It didn't matter, as long as someone saw her.
Snorting softly, Myu narrowed her brown eyes. "Careful." she said maliciously, the word rolling off her tongue in a sarcastic manner, "You might slip. That wouldn't be very good."

Sukalina halted in her tracks, immediately curling her tail until the tip touched her back. Her head lowered and she glanced around herself, trying to pinpoint the wolf who had spoken to her. From the voice she could tell it was another female, but she didn't sound very friendly. So Sukalina prepared herself by trying to look as intimidating as possible, curling her lips and letting her fur stick up in every which way.
"Who said that?" that she growled demandingly. This wasn't the first time Suka had done this; traveled out into No-Man's-Land and got caught up with a stranger. Why did she insist on doing this so often, and alone? When she finally peered closely, she saw Myu, and her body stiffened. "Move."

Keanu bounded up the cliff he had last seen Demi, a happy smile planted on his face. His auds flickered, catching the sound of two wolves. He raised his muzzle and found they were both females. Keanu snorted, and hauled himself up the last of the winding path until he caught sight of the females.
He tilted his head, and padded over slowly, his eyes emotionless, obviously not wishing to converse with them. He dipped his head to each as a greeting. He didn't mind showing other's respect, it was when they demanded it that it bugged Keanu.
'A little tense, aren't we ladies?'

As Sukalina looked more intimidating, Myu bared her teeth, showing off her pearly canines. Myu was better than Sukalina, this is what she told herself, she was better than any Dancing Star. Especially this one. A soft snarl escaped, and her brown eyes didn't stray from the other female.
"No." she said simply, fur standing on end when she heard another voice. Male. Myu wasn't stupid, she didn't look away from Sukalina in case she made a sneak attack, or ran away from her. "What the hell do you want?" she snapped, the question aimed at Keanu. He sounded happy, happy... Myu forgot the last time she ever felt happy, it was like a stranger to her now.
Perhaps she'd feel proud if she killed Sukalina, but not happy. She wouldn't be worth it.

Sukalina took a fast glance at Keanu but kept most of her attention on Myu. The male didn't give Sukalina a bad first impression, at least not like this strange female did. And Sukalina could see the blood lust in her eyes. She began to try to inch backwards, realizing that Myu's eyes were watching her. But maybe she just wanted Sukalina off of her territory or something. But as the wind shifted, Suka's nostrils flared and the small growl in her throat deepened. This strange female was Falling Moon.

Keanu narrowed his eyes, having a anything-but-warm welcome didn't bode well. He snorted, a little offended, but nothing could make him feel sad now, nothing. Keanu had the mate he'd always dreamed of, and it wasn't just any female, either, it was Demi. His spine tingled at the thought of her.
He pulled his thoughts away from Demi, for long enough to notice the female were about to fight. Keanu growled loudly, being a rogue he shouldn't really be fussed about two different members from two different packs fighting, but he did. He padded over to Sukalina's side, and narrowed his eyes at Myu.
Then he did something unexpected. He padded between the two females and sat down, 'Enough.' he growled, looking from one wolf to the other, 'There is no need to fight. You are both wolves with emotions and personalities, what would be the point of killing on or the other?' he growled threateningly, his muscles tensed, looking from one she-wolf to the other.

Myu looked at Keanu as if he was crazy when he went to Sukalina's side, but then she knew he actually was when he sat down between them. What an idiot. But, at his question, she grinned. "It's fun." Myu was speaking the whole truth on her part, and she leaped past Keanu, snarling at him and bared her teeth as she aimed her claws for Sukalina's shoulders.
It was a quick move, but easily avoided. Myu was just getting impatient with this stranger, but she smelt Falling Moon on him. Her eyes narrowed and she glanced at him at the corner of her eye before looking back at Sukalina quickly. She would get him next, or at least confront him on why he would have sided with a Dancing Star.

Sukalina snarled, the claws stinging her slightly as she was caught slightly off guard. She didn't know who that male was, but she hoped that he wouldn't be a distraction for her. Maybe he was in cahoots with the female, and they had a well-planned and deceptive strategy to try and trick Sukalina into feeling secure. But if that be the case, she wouldn't fall for it. She snarled and lowered herself close the dirt ground, growling threateningly at Myu. She didn't strike and instead just stood her ground, staring challengingly into the dark eyes of the bloodthirsty wolf.

Myu snarled loudly, narrowing her eyes and stepped back a bit. Digging her claws into the ground, she looked Sukalina over before glancing at the cliff for a mere second, then back at Sukalina. Perhaps this was going to be easier than she thought. Her snarl died down slowly and she dived at Sukalina, aiming to dig her claws into the female's shoulders again, teeth aiming for her forehead.
Myu didn't care about the other wolf any more. If he tried to stop her, then a simple kick off the cliff would suffice. Even if he survived the fall, surely he wouldn't try to even move. Myu kept her eyes on Sukalina, thinking only of the fight.
