Onisim looked coolly down at Sapphire from his large, bulky height, the image of power and icy calmness reverberating from him. Until, that is, Sapphire sweetly said her last sentence. Caught off guard, Onisim blinked, glancing from one side to the other as if the clue to what she meant might just wave at him from their surroundings. What on earth did she mean? 'Depending what I am by the time you become alpha...'
"Well, you'll still be a wolf, right?" He said bluntly, a confused expression upon his dark features. "I don't quite understand what you mean..." It was quite a common occurence. Afterall, he was Onisim.

Onisim turned and gave Deppene's retreating form one last menacing growl, as if to say, 'get out of here or you'll wish you were never born', and turned his attentions back to Sapphire.
"Well, I like to get out of the lands a bit," he replied gruffly. "If i'm going to Alpha one day then it's good to know every inch of the land." If i'm going to be Alpha... He knew of Seta and Tessar's intentions to try and beat him to it, but he knew he was the strongest of them. It was just a pity he was so lacking in the mental side of things. He knew he was, and he realised that there was alarge chance of them outwitting him.
"I don't suppose you'll want to know me, when i'm Alpha." He added, as an afterthought. After all, she was a Dancing Star.

Deppene smirked at Sapphire. She loved it when wolves snapped at her because it meant that she'd successfully got to them. She turned and made a large, melodramatic wink to Onisim, before leaping gracefully away. "I'll leave you two love birds to get on with it then," She called teasingly over her shoulder. Not that Seta and myself are any better, she thought to herself.
Onisim, meanwhile, let out a growl in her direction, and snarled, "get out." He hated it when faes went on about romance, it was the most irritating thing. He didn't see the point in wasting time daydreaming about faes when there was training and fighting and yet more training to be done. However as Sapphire spoke, his harsh expression softened a little. He wasn't intellegent, but from what she was saying it seemed like she'd come to find him. That made him feel a little powerful, and he liked that.
"So I suppose your father is going to come and bite my head off?" He said, grinning at her charmingly. As if anyone could bite his head off, please.

"I could say the same about you," retorted Deppene sarkily, before grinning wickedly and taking a leap at another craggy rock a little higher up. She landed upon it with perfect precision and delicacy on her ebony paws. Then, turning to stare smugly down at Onisim from her vantage point, she noticed Sapphire.
"Oh look, another one of your admirers," She drawled, putting a sarcastic emphasis upon the last word.
Onisim rolled his eyes at Deppene (not quite quick enough to think up a decent retort), hackles raised slightly as if to tell her to 'shut her mouth or there'd be trouble'. Then, he turned around and saw Sapphire's pretty brown figure, and immediately recognised her scent. She was that fae he'd hung out with in No Man's Land to pass the time, before her immature brothers came alnog and started picking fights.
"Hey," he said coolly. "What're you here for?"

A petite, feminine figure sat on a rocky outcrop at the base of the lined cliffs, watching as Onisim hunted. Deppene grinned as she watched Seta's brother apparently 'training'. She had to admit he did seem impressively bulky, like a small black bear. She winced as she saw him lunge at a deer with powerful jaws, and vaguely imagined what it would be like if Seta and him fought one day for the position of Alpha. She had faith in Seta however, and felt elated when she noticed that the large stag Onisim was trying to catch had managed to wriggle out of his grasp. He can't be that amazing then, she thought derisively.
Onisim grunted and released his hold on the bulky deer's hind leg. Now that he'd managed to catch it and got his day's practise in, he let it go. He wasn't hungry and he wouldn't just waste it by killing it and leaving it there for some scavenger to eat. No, he'd catch that stag again another day, for his lunch perhaps. He felt his fur prickle as if someone was watching him, and glanced around warily. He spotted Deppene a short way away.
"What are you doing, staring at me?" He scowled. "I can stare as much as a like, it's No Man's Land," Deppene retorted with a catty smile. "Ugh, faes. They're a waste of time..." Onisim muttered.

The petite, young female trod delicately through the snow, one paw infront of the other, taking her time. Although her thick, dark coat kept her warm, the light snowfall left pale flakes that contrasted against the chocolate-brown colour of her pelt. As one hit her noise, she sneezed lightly, and stopped in her tracks.
Looking up at the sky, Deppene wondered where Seta might be. Her mate... Wow, that sounded wierd. She felt as if she were too young to be attached to someone, but at the same time, why wati when she had found someone she loved? And who returned her affections (she hoped.) The young fae hadn't seen him in a while; she couldn't remember the last proper conversation she'd had with him. Upon impulse, she opened her maw and let out a short, almost musical-sounding howl for him, hoping he'd come and see her.

"Rose, you're back," said Deppene cheerfully as she walked towards the group. She wondered vaguely what had happened about Raiden. She'd felt terrible for Rose, who was so obviously in love with him, but she also felt bad for her family when her friend had left. Deppene blinked, suddenly remembering that Rose's father, Duke wa standing right there, and she'd just interrupted his conversation. Her petite, dark form froze, and she glanced from side to side and Rose and Seta.
Seta. Her mate. That phrase felt strange rolling around in her mind, she was sure that she was too young to have a mate, but she loved him. Anyway, Rose was ever so slightly younger than Deppene and she'd loved someone too.... Perhaps she still did. She was dying to ask her about Raiden, but thought it probably wasn't a good idea in the presence of Duke. Nor was it probably a good idea to act any different towards Seta for now, in case Seta hadn't told his father of... what had happened.

ooc; Wait, Lucia, is your character not actually a wolf? Because ther are strictly no dog breeds here.
bic; Onisim padded slowly around the land's borders, making sure he new every inch of it. If he was to be alpha some day, he wanted to know every nook and every cranny as well as if it were the fur on the back of his paw. His dark eyes flickered back and forth, taking note of any small oddity that occurred in the landscape; all of it could be useful to him one day.
As he glanced ahead, voices were carried to him in the wind, and he noticed two faint figures up ahead; one was significantly larger than the other. Onisim himself was a very, very large wolf even though he was only young. He almost looked like a small black bear with his swarthy markings and hulking muscles. All he cared about was training, fighting and the possibility of following in his father's footsteps.
Onisim was close-up behind the two wolves now, and he could tell by their scent that the male, who he vaguely recognised, was a member of the same pack, whereas the rather bedraggled looking female was an outsider; a loner. He let out a short, low growl so that they would realise who was there, and spoke in gruff tones.
"What are you doing here?" He asked, directed at the female. He gave a sharp nod to the male.

Onisim raced along the border as he did every day, enjoying the delicate crunch of frozen grass beneath layers of soft powder-snow. He liked winter; the thick blanket covering the ground and muffling the sound of his heavy paws meant that he could hunt better. The only problem was that his coat didn't blend in with the surrounding landscape now, so he was easily spotted.
He spotted a figure he recognised up ahead; it was his mother, Anevay. He slowed to a moderate jog, and caught up with her as she walked along the borders. His dark legs started to walk, leaving an indented trail of large pawprints behind him.
"Hello, mother," He said, with a small smile.

"Because if i'm going to be Alpha one day it'd help to know everyone's names," he retorted angrily. God, females were a waste of time. Didn't they understand that there was more to life than constant bickering? And now that she'd kept insulting him, calling him a Pup, she'd got his back up; she'd lit the venomous fire in his eyes and he wouldn't be able to just walk away now. No, he had to prove his point.
He started walking towards her, moving stealthily but hatefully, like a cobra that's waiting to strike it's final, venomous blow. He didn't stop, just stared blankly, unnervingly into her eyes. his paws beat a rhythm as he spoke.
"Females like you are useless. You talk, and talk, and talk, but when have you actually ever done anything worthwhile? Just because you know longer words than me, or were born before me, doesn't mean that my strength is worthless against your pathetic words." This was an unusually long amount of words for Onisim to string together at once. This female had really irked him.

Onisim scowled. He felt like snarling at these two shewolves. All they did was be constantly make snide comments and b*tchy retorts that he didn't understand and didn't want to try and understand either. They never did anything apart from treat others like scum with their clever words. It made him want to lunge at them until they realised that just because he was younger that they shouldn't be tapro- no, patromi- that word which was exceedingly difficult to pronounce. He wasn't a Pup and he wasn't going to stand to be treated like one either.
He whipped round to face them both, the muscles in his thick neck tensing and releasing as he did so. His powerful jaws relaxed as he opened his mouth, a deep, sinister growl emerging from the back of his throat to show that he had no time for either of these femmes.
"And you think I care...why?" He asked, being perfectly honest as he directed his question at both of the faes in front of him. He wasn't trying to make a b*tchy retort, all he knew was that he wanted to carry on walking. He had no other purpose than to pass through here. He stared at them stubbornly for a moment, before turning back around and walking forwards.

Onisim wrinkled his nose as Dagger's scent wafted through the air. Oh, he remembered her: she was another female who talked too much. Did they have nothing better to do with their spare time? He didn't see why males always bothered chasing them, they were a waste of time as far as he was concerned. Who'd want a mate anyway? All that that brings is Pups, and they're more trouble than they're worth.
Onisim glanced up at Dagger, and grunted a cold greeting before continuing to trudge ahead; purposefully ignoring her as if to get the message across that he couldn't be bothered to make intellegent conversation (or in his case just plain conversation.) Suddenly he realised that there was yet another female in the area, and he glanced around to have his eyes fall upon a pretty shewolf that he didn't recognise.
"And you are....?" He drawled uncaringly.

Onisim trudged through the heavy snow slowly, making sure his feet were firmly placed in the thick snow that clung to the ground. Around him whirled waves of whiteness, pushing him and shoving him in every direction, but he wasn't bothered. It was a good test of his strength; he needed all the practise he could get if he was going to try and become Alpha one day. He knew he was lacking in the brains-side of things but his way of making up for it was just to tunnel all his energies furiously into become stronger, faster and stealthier.
As he walked through the clearing, his mind wandered back to a couple of days ago when he met Pranta in the forest. He rolled his eyes. She'd distracted him from his hunting for apparently no reason. 'Faes,' he thought to himself with a derisive snort. 'All they do is talk.'
